Saves Expenditures

Today Kayra left for the office after a few days of permission to accompany her mother in the hospital. He was determined to repay Erlangga's kindness by serving and working as well as possible in Erlangga's company.

" Sir Kayra has left for work again? Yesterday's off, huh, Mommy?" tanya Odi, the office boy who was cleaning his room in front of Erlangga's work room when he saw Kayra coming out of the elevator.

" I came back to Bandung yesterday because my mother was stricken, Mas Odi." Kayra answered Odi's question.

" What accident, Ma'am?" tanya Odi seriously responded.

" My parents' house in Bandung was on fire and my mother was hospitalized with burns, Mas Odi." Kayra explained what kept her from entering the office a few days .

" O Allah, I am so sorry, Ms. Kayra. Then how's Mom Kayra's condition?" ask Odin again.

" Thank God has started to improve, now is in recovery period after surgery yesterday, Mas Odi." replied Kayra explained if the condition of her mother is not currently worrying. " Oh yeah, Mr. Erlangga's room has been cleaned yet, Mas Odi?" tanyakanya.

" No, Ma'am. I have not dared to go into the boss room if no one is watching,. As long as Ms. Kayra did not enter work yesterday, I waited for Ms. Early to clean Mr. Erlangga's room." Odi explained that he would clean Erlangga's workspace after staff from Erlangga's assistant came and opened the door of Erlangga's office.

" Oh, so." Kayra then walked to the door of her superior's office and opened it. " Please clean it up first, Mas Odi." Kayra then told Odi to clean and tidy up the CEO's workspace at the company they work for.

" Good, Ma'am." Odi also immediately entered the room Erlangga to clean the work room of their superiors.

Around half an hour and a half ten in the morning Erlangga arrived at his office. Kayra who saw Erlangga coming out of the elevator immediately stood up and greeted her boss.

" Good morning, sir." Kayra greeted Erlangga.

" Morning ..." Erlangga answered and turned to Kayra for a while and walked into her room without asking her parents.

Kayra closed her eyes for a moment while sighing deeply. Maybe he was too hopeful that his boss would ask about his mother, at least even if it was just a small talk.

Kayra then returned to sit on her chair and continued her activities because almost a week she did not move in the office, a lot of work piled up that she had to finish.

" Excuse me, sir." Kayra knocked on the door of Erlangga's study after she prepared some documents that she would hand over to Erlangga. He then walked over after Erlangga turned his head towards him.

" This is a report from the finance division that you asked for, and here are some cooperation proposals that some of our relations offer." Kayra handed over some archives to Erlangga.

" Just put it on my desk!" sahut Erlangga's.

" Good, sir." Kayra put some of the files on Erlangga's desk.

" Oh yeah, how's your mom doing now? Did the nurse who looked after your mother work well?" Finally Erlangga asked about the health condition of Ms. Sari.

" Thank God my mother has improved and Madam Diah who takes care of my mother also works well, sir." replied Kayra. " I once again thank you for your help with my mother." Kayra expressed her gratitude back to Erlangga, because she felt lucky to get a boss as good as Erlangga who was very concerned about the problems that were happening to her.

" Thank God it's improving. I really need you in this office, so as much as possible I will help to overcome the problems you are facing so that your workers here are not disturbed!" erlangga said the reason.

" Yes, sir."

" Yes, you can go back to your desk!" Erlangga invited Kayra to return to activities.

After performing the Dzuhur prayer, Kayra went to the canteen in the back of the company office building. He usually brought his own stuff from home. Before leaving, Kayra always took the time to cook for her to eat at the office. He thought that cooking alone would save him money because it could be eaten for breakfast, lunch and dinner instead of having to buy outside. Kayra really had to learn to save money because she had to send monthly rations to her mother in Bandung all this time. But because this morning he had to help take care of his mother first before Diah came, making Kayra not have time to prepare provisions for him.

Kayra took a plate and spooned the rice on top plus fried meat sambal, tempe bacem and crackers and took a bottle of mineral water. After that he walked towards the cashier to pay for the food he had taken.

" Twenty-three thousand five hundred rupiah." The cashier at the canteen mentioned the figure that Kayra had to pay.

Kayra then reached into the bag on her shirt and took out a hundred thousand rupiah note and handed it to the cafeteria cashier. After she got the change, Kayra immediately looked for an empty table because this lunch time in the cafeteria was seen crowded by some employees who ate there.

" Can I sit here?" kayra asked when she saw an empty seat among several employees who were busy eating food and chatting with other employees.

" Please .." said the employee, allowing Kayra to sit next to him.

" Thank you .." said Kayra then put a plate and a mineral bottle on the table and sat down on the empty chair.

" Tumben ate in the cafeteria, Ma'am?" ask an employee named Gita who recognizes Kayra as the secretary of Erlangga.

" Where do you eat? Same with Erlangga, huh?" another employee named Rani also asked curiously.

Kayra smiled faintly answering the questions of her fellow employees in her office.

" I usually bring provisions from home, Ma'am. And eat in the upper kitchen near the Father's room" Kayra said, explaining her habit so far.

" Oh, I think this ma'am if you eat with Mr. Boss." Rani chuckled softly at herself because her guess was wrong.

" No, Ma'am." Kayra gave a smile breaking Rani's guess.

" Bring the food from home, cook it yourself, Mommy?" ask Gita later.

" Yes, I cook early in the morning to be more efficient, Ma'am." replied Kayra without feeling embarrassed admitting that she really saves her expenses.

" Boss' secretary's salary is huge. How to save everything, anyway? Yes, just eat it anyway, it must be enough ..." Rani argues that Erlangga's secretary's salary must be fantastic so she wondered why Kayra should save for food.

Kayra smiled in response to Rani's words. " A lot of other expenses I have to think about, Ma'am. I ate first, Ma'am." Kayra wants to eat her food before Gita and Rani ask her to speak for longer.
