BEING THE CEO'S MISTRESS

BEING THE CEO'S MISTRESS
Not the Desired Son-in-law

Erlangga brought Kayra home from the office before four in the afternoon, because in the evening they would come to Erlangga's parents' house.

After the Maghreb they set out for the house of Krishna and Helen. It is certain that Kayra's heart skipped a beat because it had to be reunited with her mother-in-law. Because in their last meeting, Helen who knew that Kayra had now become Erlangga's legal wife looked angry even almost slapped her.

Along the way to Krishna's house Kayra was seen just silent not saying a word. It was definitely caught by Erlangga's eyes. Erlangga immediately grasped Kayra's hand which felt very cold.

" Are you still worried about meeting Mama?" erlangga asked, making Kayra look at him.

" Yes, Mas." Karya could not lie to her husband if his heart was not calm.

" Not to be afraid, there's me, dear." Erlangga grabbed Kayra's shoulder and let Kayra lean on her shoulder while Koko, who was carrying the car that drove them to the Krisna family's house, continued to drive the car at moderate speed.

Fifteen minutes later, the car that Koko brought had reached the spacious grounds of the palace house owned by the family Krisna Mahadika Gautama.

Erlangga helped Kayra down from the car by extending her hand. He walked by wrapping his hands around Kayra's waist towards the building of his parents' house.

" Accelod ..." Kayra and Erlangga said hello as they entered the house.

" Color, Den." Bi Inah who had opened the door welcomed and returned the greeting spoken by Elangga and Kayra. ART who has worked long enough at the family home Krisna was seen a little surprised by the greeting that was said Erlangga, not usually the boss's son gave such greetings. However, the thing that made her even more surprised was the presence of Kayra who was currently looking more in the team because Erlangga was hugging Kayra's waist.

Like the two ART in charge of cooking, Inah was told by Krishna would be the arrival of Erlangga as well as his wife, but I wonder, why is not Caroline who came with Erlangga.

" Good night, Mom." Feeling himself noticed with astonished eyes, Kayra greeted ART at her father-in-law's house.

" Good night, Non." Bi Inah answered Kayra's greeting.

" Bi Inah, Kayra is now my wife, so please treat Kayra like a daughter-in-law in this house." Erlangga introduced Kayra to Bi Inah.

Bi Inah looks surprised when Erlangga introduces Kayra as his wife, because all this time he knows if Erlangga's wife is Caroline.

" I'm divorced from Caroline, Bi. Now my wife is Kayra." Seeing his ART surprised by his statement, Erlangga immediately explained the status of his marriage to Caroline which is now over

" Oh, well, Den." Not knowing what to comment on the news that he considered shocking, Bi Inah only replied with a short sentence assuring.

" Where is Papa, Bi?" ask Erlangga later.

" Mister is in the living room, Den." said Bi Inah back.

" Oh, yeah already. Come on, let's go see Papa, honey." Erlangga now changed the position of his hand hugging Kayra's shoulder and invited his wife to meet Krishna in the family room.

While Bi Inah was watching her employer's son and daughter-in-law still with astonished gazes. He did not expect that now Erlangga had changed his wife, and the wife of his master's child was the woman Erlangga had brought to the house some time ago.

" Ashlalama, Pa." Erlangga and Kayra greeted Krisna who was watching television in the family room. They also took turns kissing the back of Krishna's hand.

" Waalaikumsalam, have you arrived?" Krishna returned the greeting of his son and daughter-in-law.

" Yes, Pa. Sorry a little late." said Erlangga then sat on the sofa side by side with Kayra. " Where's Mama, Pa?" ask Erlangga later.

" Your mother is in the room" said Krishna.

" Did Mama deliberately hide in the room to avoid us, Pa?" Erlangga suspects that Helen deliberately avoided meeting Kayra and herself.

" You know for yourself how your mother was, Lang." Krishna then got up from his seat. " Papa call your Mama for a moment." Krishna called his wife to join him for dinner.

" If you don't want to come to dinner with us, it's not forced, Pa. Let it be ..." Erlangga did not want her father to force her to join the dinner together. For him, maybe Helen's absence at the dinner table will make their dinner atmosphere calmer.

" Don't be like that, Lang. After all, your mother should be able to accept both of you in this house. You guys go to the dinner table first, Papa's gonna come there." Krishna told Erlangga and Kayra to go to the dining room first, while he himself left the family room to invite his wife to join their son and daughter-in-law.

While in her room, Helen was having a phone conversation with Agnes. Helen was determined not to join her husband and child at the dinner table because of Kayra's presence at home.

" Aunty, I'm going there, huh." After hearing Helen's story about Krishna's plan to invite Kayra, of course, Agnes was eager to join the family dinner of Krishna even though her presence was not desired by Krishna.

" Aunty wants you here too, Nes. Instead of seeing the face of the village woman, mending aunt in the room just talk to you, Nes." said Helen..

" Why did Om forbid me to go there anyway, Tan?" Agnes was disappointed when Helen said that Krishna had forbidden her from coming to dinner together at Krishna's house.

" Ma, Erlangga and Kayra are here, let's have dinner now!"

Krishna's voice from the door made Helen who was calling Agnes gasp.

" Nes, yes, there's Om." Helen hurriedly hung up her phone call with Agnes without waiting for an answer from Agnes.

" Whatever you eat, Mama won't!" Helen was like a child sulking, she threw her body on the bed, not caring for her husband's request to join her in enjoying dinner together.

" Ma, don't be such a kid! We're old, ashamed of our daughter-in-law if Mama's attitude is like this." Krishna advised Helen to be more mature in accordance with their age which should be able to behave more wisely.

" Out of Mama's emotions mending Mama here only!" Helen still did not want to leave her room.

Krisna walked over to the bed and sat on the edge.

" Ma, until when will Mama be insistent like this continue? Doesn't Mama want to live happily? Living well and peacefully with your children, daughter-in-law and grandchildren? Forcing Mama's desire to match Erlangga with Agnes, is the same as making Erlangga destroyed, Ma." Krishna conveyed his views.

Helen immediately snickered when her husband said his choice was a wrong choice, would even bring bad dampa to Erlangga.

" Papa don't just talk, yeah! There was no way Erlangga would be destroyed if she married Agnes! Agnes is a good woman and the most appropriate woman to accompany Erlangga." Helen was upset that Krishna looked down on Agnes.

" If Erlangga is with Agnes, maybe their household will be worse than Erlangga's household with Caroline, Ma." Krishna returned his response.

" Caroline, who was clearly Erlangga's choice and the woman whom Erlangga loved, could not make their household in peace, let alone with the woman Erlangga clearly did not love." Chris thought realistically.

" If Mama loves Erlangga, let Erlangga be happy with her current household. Erlangga is already very happy with her marriage to Kayra, Ma. Moreover, they will have children, we should not bother anymore." Krishna wanted his wife to make peace with her hardness of heart and accept Kayra as their daughter-in-law.

" Didn't Mama want to hold a grandchild? Don't you want to bring your granddaughter with you when you're at family events?" Krishna kept advising his wife to change her view of Kayra.

Helen was silent, of course she wanted it. She would have wanted to be called Grandma by her grandchildren later, but she did not want to get a grandchild from Kayra, because Kayra was not the daughter-in-law she wanted.

Kayra several times glanced towards the dining room door, she was struck with anxious hopes, whether the mother-in-law would come to dinner with them or not.

Kayra's heart immediately thumped as she saw the presence of Helen who walked behind Krishna with a frowning face, not at all showing a friendly face, inversely proportional to the face of Krishna who looked calm.

Kayra actually wanted to get up and greet her mother-in-law, but she hesitated to do so. It was fortunate that Erlangga immediately did what Kayra had in mind. Erlangga is seen rising, approaching and kissing the back of Helen's hand and also peeping Helen's cheek.

Erlangga's actions suddenly made Helen gasp. It had been a long time since Erlangga had kissed her cheek, plus kissed the back of her hand. Perhaps since the dispute because Erlangga chose to marry Caroline, Helen's relationship with Erlangga stretched, because Helen could not accept the presence of Caroline as her son-in-law, and the incident is now repeated back to Kayra.

Seeing her husband kiss the back of Helen's hand, Kayra wanted to do the same, she got up and reached out to greet Helen, but Helen had already pulled her hand, his hand was touched by Helen.

Erlangga immediately rubbed Kayra's back when she saw her mother refused to shake hands with her wife, she told Kayra to sit back.

" What are you cooking, Idah?" krisna asked Idah who had prepared the food at the table. Fortunately, the ART who cooked did not follow Helen's orders to stop cooking, if they followed what his Master's wife told them, they would definitely be reprimanded by Krishna.

" Cooked salmon teriyaki, stir-fried shrimp chickpeas, fried chicken galangal, sir." Idah mentioned several dishes, because Krisna did make cooking several menus as an option.

" You ate the vegetables and the salmon, Kayra. That's good for pregnant women." Krisna had Kayra choose foods that contain lots of nutrients for the content of her daughter-in-law

" Yes, Pa." said Kayra while taking Erlangga's plate and taking food for her husband first, before taking rice and side dishes for her.

The corner of Helen's eyes noticed what Kayra did to Erlangga, of course, such a thing she rarely saw when Erlangga came to dinner with Caroline at her home.
