Suddenly Dave disconnected his phone. "Em, that's me keeping a Persian cat. She's so adorable and I named her a wife", she said, stuttering a little.
Kenzo doesn't believe Dave's words. He's peeking into Dave's netra. "When have you liked cats?" he asked suspiciously.
Dave let out a long sigh, then leaned back on the chair. His pushy eyes looked at the sky that was starting to darken, like it was going to rain. "Since I began to like a woman, but I could not have", he said in a soft tone.
Kenzo's feet stepped forward as he pulled one of the empty seats and dropped his butt over there. "Why can't you have it?" tanyanya.
"We're talking about cats, why are we talking about girls?" elak Dave's. He didn't want to talk about the woman with Kenzo.
"I'm not interested in cats. So tell me about that woman!" insist Kenzo, as if forgetting the dispute that has occurred between them while in the meeting room.
Not wanting to be asked many questions by Kenzo, Dave began to tell about the woman he meant. "The first time I met him was in the campus cafeteria." Dave was caught up in the events of his first meeting. "At that time we accidentally bumped into each other, he immediately apologized to me."
"Is that why you fell in love?" cut Kenzo.
Suddenly Dave got up from his seat with an angry look on his face.
"Eh, wait a minute. You're not done telling me!" prevent Kenzo, who is countered with a cold look by Dave. "Em, I'm sorry that you don't like what you said on the sidelines. Go on, continue with your story", he asked.
Dave sat back down and breathed. "After that, I always looked at him, but he didn't know at all. Even I found out his personal data through the campus website. Turns out he's the best student on campus" he continued, which made Kenzo tick.
"Is there any other best student besides my wife?" ask Kenzo who's starting to get suspicious of Dave.
"If your wife's age, she's the best. But in the generation before and after your wife is definitely different people dong" replied Dave with a little nervousness, because Kenzo did not take his eyes off of him.
"Who's the name of the woman you like?"
Kenzo's questions left Dave speechless for a moment.
"It's not my wife, is it?" guess it.
"Yes, not dong. Why do you think that?"
"Obviously I think so, because all the criteria you just mentioned are with my wife!" Kenzo.
"That's just your mind. Obviously what I'm talking about is your wife's underclassman. But I can't tell you his name", he continued.
"Why can't, please tell me in full. Don't make me curious." Kenzo continues to urge Dave, even though his childhood best friend ignores him.
"Master.." call a familiar voice for Kenzo and Dave. "From this moment Mr. George was looking for Mister", he continued, which made Dave's face turn sad, because the name reminded him of his failure to get a cooperation contract.
"OKAY. Come on, let's meet Mr. George", said Kenzo hurriedly, so that Dave did not get sadder. "Dave, next time we'll get on with the story" he continued, walking away from Dave.
"Thank God he's gone" said Dave breathing a sigh of relief. Then he gulped down a glass of water to quench his thirst after being interrogated by Kenzo.
...---...
Ting.
The elevator doors are wide open. Kenzo and Roni walked out of the elevator.
"Sir, shouldn't we go back tonight?" ask Roni.
Roni replied with a nod. He doesn't know Kenzo's purpose is to stay until tomorrow morning. Mr. George has returned to his country. Roni said inside.
"Is there any new information about Richard?" kenzo asked as they were in the room.
Roni rushes open her phone, then she shows Kenzo a video. "This is a recording taken by our man, sir", he said, propping his cell phone.
Netra Kenzo focused on watching a video in which it appeared Richard was receiving a call from someone.
"Ease?" richard's voice was heard on the video tape.
"Hm, okay. I'll send it again, but later after I get to Jakarta" he said with an annoyed look. After that, he cut off the phone.
"Did it get there?" kenzo asked when the 2-minute video was over.
"Yes, sir", replied Roni while saving her phone back. "It's a pity we don't know who he's talking to."
Not yet Kenzo replied to Roni, his phone suddenly rang. The net is perfectly rounded when reading the contact name on the screen of the phone. "This is Richard" he said, because he had kept the contact numbers of all who would attend the meeting, including Richard's contact numbers.
"Hello", replied Kenzo casually.
"It seems you don't care about your wife anymore" Richard said across the phone.
"Where might I not care! It's just that I will fulfill your request, after I have spoken to my wife via video call", Kenzo said in a serious tone.
Richard did not immediately say Kenzo. Only his breath filled Kenzo's ears.
"Let me talk to him now! Before Mr. George returns to his country" Kenzo bargained. "How's it?" he urged when Richard did not return his words.
"I really don't know who he's with right now. But I know where he is" Richard added.
Hearing Richard's words, Kenzo's countenance turned furious. "You want to play me? Quickly tell me where he is now or you can't even go back to Jakarta!" threaten Kenzo with emotion.
"I've been at the airport, how could I not reach Jakarta", said Richard in a tadpole.
Kenzo laughed out loud. "Ha,ha,ha. Then let's see if the plane you boarded will arrive safely in Jakarta" said Kenzo, who tried to scare Richard.
Instantaneous silence. No answer from Richard.
"It's been broken" Kenzo regretted, staring at the screen of his phone.
"Do you believe in all of Richard's talk?" ask Roni who was sitting there waiting for Kenzo to finish the phone call.
"Yes", Kenzo replied briefly. "Richard knows where Alana is now. Only I felt a little strange with the photo he sent", he continued, which made Roni laugh. "Let's see, in the photo Alana's face looks happy, she doesn't look like she's being kidnapped" she continued with a serious look.
"Yes, I agree with what you said", he said with a face no less serious. "Didn't Madam lose her memory?" guess later.
"We're back in Jakarta now!" kenzo.
"Okay Sir", said Roni.
Then they packed their own suitcases. Don't forget Roni booked their departure tickets for tonight.
