Behind the Heart Curtain

Behind the Heart Curtain
The Unexpected Meeting

A noise woke Amy from her deep sleep, and she immediately woke up and opened the window.

His eyes were still very sleepy several times he rubbed with the back of his hand.

"Ohhhh, my goodness, I'm really sleepy" Amy complained.

"Eeehhhh.... Whatisthis? it's still dark, but why is it so noisy?" Amy grumbled, she immediately went to find the origin of the noise that had awakened her.

Then the people seemed busy with their respective work, Amy looked confused when Panti was magic with a variety of very beautiful flower decorations.

Chairs neatly lined in the garden, flower pots lined with fragrant and blooming flowers, the garden looks beautiful with white shades.

But the amazement disappeared, Amy realized. He was completely confused by what had happened, his feet stepped half-run towards Mother Aisyah's office, he wanted to know what was really happening, what was this event really.

"Assalamualaikum Bun.." cried Amy shortly after she knocked on the door.

Slowly the door opened, Amy looked surprised that Mother was sitting with a man she did not want to meet. Arga looked at Amy with her charming yet very sickening smile for Amy.

"Sorry Mother, sorry I've interfered, I'll come again" said Amy about to leave.

"Wait for Amy" cried Mother Aisyah, "Please come here, someone wants Nak Arga to talk about".

Amy sighed slowly, she went in and approached Arga.

Mother Aisyahpun left the two of them to talk.

"Shocked?" exclaiming Arga with her baritone voice, Amy shook her head slowly. He silently stared down his gaze as if he was reluctant to see Arga.

His hands seemed unable to stand still playing with his nails.

Arga smiled wryly, He knew Amy did not like it but for him it was not important, that he knew whatever he liked then others should like it.

"Sit down lest I ask a second time, I will not be kind anymore. Unless you want to try it!"

Amy gasped, immediately sitting in the corner of the chair, as much as possible to stay away from Arga.

Arga snorted annoyedly, this was the first time there was a girl who made him very irritated, but Arga actually liked it more and more.

"It's only 03:00 in the morning, soon you have to get ready. We got married this morning!".

Like a bolt of lightning striking all over Amy's body, how could this man before her so easily rule, even this is about Marriage!.

Amy's body trembled, her heart was pounding, Amy's eyes were teary but her mouth was locked. He was unable to say anything at a time like this.

Amy hated the man in front of her.

"I want to announce my marriage to Amy" those words kept echoing in Amy's ears, he really did not expect a man named Arga immediately announced the statement in front of all the invited guests who were present at the opening ceremony of Citra Orphanage a week ago.

All eyes looked at him, He did not even know the man. The meeting between the two was only a few moments when Amy welcomed the invited guests in the courtyard of the Panti.

He never even noticed who they were, because Amy was busy greeting the guests present.

Mother Aisyah looked at him confusedly, she never knew the closeness of the two. Arga's announcement made him completely shocked.

Amy clutches as a hand pulls her and takes her away leaving the crowd of invited guests, Amy still confused and in a daze.

"Let go.." cried Amy as she regained consciousness.

"Please go back and tell them that you're just kidding" Amy's plea was still in an upset tone.

"Fwttt....." The man held back the laughter.

"You...." Annoyed that Amy was leaving that place.

"What I say, it will happen" cried the man confidently.

Amy was really upset for him, he ran into his room. Amy can't go back to the show, she's really embarrassed by that shitty guy.

Tok....

Not sure how long Amy had been asleep after she cried because she was upset, Amy blinked her eyes slowly.

"Mr Amy..... Maud.... Called Mommy at the office for a moment"

Amy let out a heavy sigh, she knew what Mother Aisyah was going to say. He must have been very surprised.

'Don't Mother I'm just as surprised, really annoying guy' Amy grumbled.

"It's Mom, it's a minute" Amy replied.

Amy walked through the parlour room, looking like the children were looking at her with an unusual gaze, but she tried to ignore it and just smiled kindly as usual.

Amy was silent for a moment after arriving at the door of Mother Aisyah's office, she heard a crowded voice talking and laughing.

Once again Amy let out a heavy sigh, knocking at the door and saying hello.

The door opened, appearing Mother Aisyah smiling at him, Amy only replied with a thin smile at the corner of her thin lips.

Amy was stunned, the man was sitting with a pair of friendly-looking Old Man smiling towards her.

"Geez beautiful, here dear sit" exclaimed the middle-aged woman with a very friendly look on her face with her gentle smile.

Amy stepped slowly and sat down next to the woman.

"Amy dear they are the parents of Nak Arga, the owner of this House" explained Mother Aisyah.

Amy forced her smile, she was really uncomfortable in the current atmosphere. Especially the annoying man kept staring at her as if he wanted to pounce on Amy and devour her round and round.

"Greetings Om, my Aunt Amy" nervously introduced Amy.

"We already know, Mother Aisyah has introduced you very clearly, Haaahhh..... What can we do for a young couple like you" The woman grabbed Amy's hand and stroked her gently.

"We really like you so much Amy, Arga is indeed observant to see pearls like you"

"From now on think of us like your parents, baby, just call Dad and Mom like Arga. Soon we will become one Family" the middle-aged woman continued.

Amy's mouth as if locked, she looked at Mother who looked happy and touched to hear it. Amy wanted to talk and refused, but happiness was evident in the eyes of Mother Aisyah who had taken care of her since she was a baby.

Mother Aisyah was so kind and sincere to love him, even she was treated like her own biological daughter, how could Amy disappoint him.

Amy tried to smile, slowly nodding and agreeing to the marriage, a marriage she never imagined.
