"Will you go home?" aish asked as he saw the car he was riding towards Richard's house.
"Take the file at home. Yopi says I missed my diploma" said Richard, who is still focused on the streets.
"Oh, ok" said Aish briefly. Sit back quietly while playing his phone.
"What are your plans today?" ask Richard who doesn't like to be left busy by Aish.
"There's no plan. Later in the afternoon also have to work, so it's like being at home" said Aish.
"Walk yuk" take Richard.
"Where?" ask Aish.
"Where are you going" Richard said.
"Ehm. I am confused when asked this. What about the bookstore?" said Aish.
"It was down to the time zone, yes, long time no playing the same" Richard said.
"Bole tuh. Keep eating ice cream" Aish said passionately.
"Ready, princess" said Richard, who was happy to see Aish's smile.
Aish became misbehaved, accidentally even struggling spoiled in Richard's arm. His head rests on that sturdy arm. It feels so comfortable.
But only briefly because the trip had to stop their action because the car was already approaching the direction of Richard's house.
From the front gate of his house, Richard who had just entered the courtyard could see his papa car parked neatly.
"Papa's tumben at home" murmured Richard.
"Why?" ask Aish.
"It's okay. It's a wonder why you haven't left yet" said Richard, who was preparing to get off.
"Just come this morning, did you meet at home?" ask Aish.
"Yes, yes, too. I didn't see any breakfast time" Richard said.
"Let's go in. I'd like to get the file in the room. Scared for long, so you just go in" take Richard.
"Yes" answered Aish, who had followed him, following Richard.
"Sir, papa's home?" richard asked an art man he had met.
"Yes, den. I just came with my mom" said the art.
"Sit down, Ra. Wait a moment" said Richard who continued his footsteps to his room on the second floor after seeing Aish sitting in the living room.
"Oh yes, I said that if non Aishyah was sent to his office, there is something I want to say like" said the art conveyed a message from his mother Richard.
"What's up, bik?" ask Aish who is a little worried. What's wrong with her?
"Bibik doesn't know either, non. Mom's message was just that. Had asked the aunt, and Richard went with whom. Keep bibik answer if you go with non Aish" said the art.
"Kok aunt knows Richard went with me?" ask Aish.
"Yes, my aunt asked Richard this morning" replied the art.
"I'll meet you now bik. Um, what's the matter bik?" ask Aish who only got an answer in the form of a headband from the aunt.
"Oh, jude. I went to his office first bik. Later if you meet Richard please say I was there, if only Richard had been here but I have not been out of the workspace father" Aish message.
"Yes non, I'll tell you later" replied the art.
With a heart full of questions, Aish stepped into the workspace of her father Richard who was on the right side of the living room.
The room is still one area with Richard's parents' room which is also on the first floor.
The door was slightly open, but it did not allow people from inside to see outside. Maybe they forgot to put it together.
Sayup-sayup heard chatter from them when Aish was already in the doorway.
His hand did not knock when what sounded from inside the room was a discussion about him and Richard.
Papa Richard's desk was behind the door, as if Richard's mother was sitting on the handle of the chair her husband was sitting on.
Aish stood slightly docked at the door, holding the handle without making a sound.
"Why do you like Aishyah the same?" ask mama Richard.
Aish grew curious about Papa Richard's answer, so she fell silent and stood up to listen. A little eavesdropping, but there's a chance.
"Papa is happy, as long as he can make Richard happy" he replied.
"Mama herself?" papa Richard asked his wife.
"Mama really likes pa. She is besides beautiful, polite and also very good achievements at school" replied Richard's mother.
Hearing that, Aish's smile rose perfectly, her head felt big and hot.
"Richard used to say that he wanted to marry the boy as soon as possible, ma" now papa Richard's tone sounded more serious.
"Yes, he also told my mom about this after her graduation was announced yesterday" Richard said.
"Duh, Richard is not very impatient. Why not wait until romeo met his soul mate that way" muttered Aish, he did not expect that Richard was that serious.
"How did mama respond?" ask papa Richard.
"If they were no different, pa. If only Aishyah were like us. If only Richard loved one who also knelt while singing to glorify his god".
"Mamma would have taken them straight to the altar to tie the sacred promise of marriage" Richard's mother said regretfully.
"Maybe our insensitivity as parents makes God give us a test like this ma. Our children who don't receive much attention from us make them look for their own happiness out there" said papa Richard, who just found out how regretful it feels.
Aish still heard their chat. Now his heart is perfect. The relationship would not be approved by Richard's parents.
"Yes, papa's right. We lost Willy because of our different beliefs. Is it now papa's going to let Richard choose his own beliefs?" ask mama Richard.
"Mama is very disappointed when Willy prefers Helda who is one belief but will not be able to give offspring. Plus Helda who apparently killed Alif who became Willy's second wife" said Richard's mother.
"Mama knows Willy is more affectionate with Alif because Helda is too possessive of Willy. While Alif is more open and accepting of the fact that only becomes Willy's second wife".
"Even my mother did not expect when Willy decided to embrace Alif's belief in order to marry her. Mama is very disappointed because many times Willy decided his own problems without our knowledge" said mama Richard.
"Despite Willy's problems. Actually, Papa really likes Aishyah's personality, ma. But to let Richard go to be like Willy, you have to rethink" replied Richard.
Aish retreated her steps, her chest feeling tight. He shouldn't have to steal this kind of hearing.
He should have just knocked on the door and walked in to talk to each other.
Or he shouldn't have tried to meet Richard's parents.
Walking backwards without looking back, Aish now leaned back in the tv buffet in front of papa Richard's study.
Aish's hand held her chest which now felt tight. A little tear came out as it could not be held back after hearing their chatter.
"Do I have to worry about the pain of losing it so soon?" mummy Aish.
When he left, his hand accidentally nudged a vase of flowers containing fresh flowers with water in it.
Lucky it doesn't make a noise. It's just that the water spilled down to the floor and made some of the robe he used wet.
Aish returned the flower to its original position. After wiping her tears, Aish returned to the living room.
Her tears still came down without permission. Aish had trouble removing it. Especially the sound of steps from the stairs.
"Definitely Richard" murmured Aish who was still trying hard to wipe away her tears.
Aish turned her face when Richard had already arrived. He raised his head so that his tears would not come back down.
"Let's go again" Richard said, taking Aish away.
Actually Aish heard that, but because his tears were still difficult to handle, so he still did not turn to Richard.
Astonished that his words had not been published, Richard took Aish's hand to help him stand up.
But instead was brushed aside violently by him. Richard was confused.
"Why the hell? You're mad at me?" ask Richard.
Successfully wiping away the trail of tears with the end of her robe arm, Aish stood up and looked at her interlocutor.
"Come on, we'll go" said Aish.
Richard was astonished to see Aish's reddened eyes, and again, why was his robe so wet like that?
"Where the hell is it? Why is it wet? Don't tell me you're bedwetting" teased Richard who suddenly felt something was wrong with Aishyah.
Aish pouted even more, hitting Richard's arm lightly with a slight smile.
"His son, I am a child. I'm not okay. Already yuk, we're leaving" take Aish who precedes Richard to step outside.
"Wait for dong, Ra. You are small but very serious" said Richard, whose steps are far from him.
Aish's heart was still too shocked by the chatter of Richard's parents. He was still not ready to part from this lover who was beside him.
"I should have prepared myself for something like this. I'm the same he's different, I shouldn't force myself. Imposing something that could not be united" in Aish's heart said as he looked at Richard who was driving.
"But this fast I have to deal with the pain of losing again?" aish asked again, and her tears melted again.
Soon Aish wiped her tears and threw away her face. It was better to look out the window than to see Richard's face which would make him feel even more claustrophobic.
But she was crying more and more. Looking from the view of Richard Aish's shoulder that went up and down and sounded a small stuffing from his mouth.
"Lo why, Ra?" asked Richard in surprise.
Aish simply shook her head without answering in a voice.
The direction of the goal is near, Richard will settle his affairs with Yopi first before clarifying his problem with Aish.
"Why so suddenly cry gini anyway" murmured Richard who had turned his steering wheel towards the campus where Yopi had been waiting for him.
After parking his car, Richard asked Yopi whereabouts through his cell phone.
"Hallo, where's Yop?" ask Richard.
(....)
"Gue's parked" Richard said again.
(....)
"Okay, I'm there" Richard said again, turning off his phone.
"Gue to Yopi for a minute, you don't go anywhere" Richard said.
Even Richard locks his car when he gets out so he's sure Aish won't run away.
Richard knew exactly what the girl was. So, letting him get locked in his car for a little while is okay.
Instead of later he will be confused himself to find Aish who ran away.
A little running, Richard looked for Yopi's whereabouts at the registration counter. A little bit of a wander because a lot of people come to be prospective students at this elite campus.
"Whoi, Richard. I'm here" Yopi shouted as she looked at Richard a little confused.
"Nih. I immediately unplug it. First lady again I lock in the car. Afraid of being out of breath" Richard said without wanting to hear Yopi's words again, which would only slow down his affairs.
"Ish, why else is the same first lady. Basic lamber" grumbled Yopi continued his show to register himself and his two friends.
Richard had run full of energy to his car. Several times he even nudged the people in front of him.
And one man who accidentally hit him to fall.
Bugh!
The person in front of him fell down because Richard who was running around did not know the place.
"Sorry, I didn't mean it. It's okay, right?" richard asked while helping a girl stand up.
The girl reached out her hand to receive help from Richard.
"Okay, it's okay. I'm fine. But you don't run around in crowded places like this" said the girl.
Richard looked at her for a moment, looking just like Aish if she didn't wear a hijab.
"No, wait for Aishyah" murmured Richard.
"Why?" asked the girl while tidying up her beautifully-dissolved hair with her finger.
"Oh, it's okay. I'm first yeah. Sorry again" said Richard.
The girl just nodded and left her place.
With a hasty step, Richard got back into his car.
The first look he saw was Aishyah who was growing weeping.
Richard sat in the steering wheel without closing the door. A little confused as he remembered, Richard did not make a single mistake today.
"Ra, why the hell? I think it was okay. Why is it crying now?" asked Richard carefully. Afraid of Aish sulking.
Aish looked at Richard, a look of sadness that Richard disliked.
"Would I be able to take you off so soon, Richard?" ask Aish in his heart.
Suddenly Aish hugged Richard. This sudden and unusual treatment from Aish made Richard's heart not happy, but rather agitated.
Aish drowned her head in Richard's field chest. Spilling all his emotions there. Sniffled.
"Ra, why? Don't cry. Pleases. I can't see you crying like a gini" Richard said as he stroked Aish's soft hijab.
Aish was still reluctant to speak, as she was about to take the word out of her mouth, as if everything would be swallowed up by herself.
"Can we break up today?" aish asked while bowing his head.
