Part 44 - Advice to Work Again

Yudha approached Meena who was checking an item in a box.

"What's that??" ask Yudha.

"Something we discussed yesterday" Meena replied in a soft tone.

When the mother-in-law came, Meena immediately stored the item.Making Siska immediately stared cynically without comment.

Basic stingy.. I was so afraid of her stuff that I saw Siska said in her heart.

After dinner, Yudha and Meena relax in the tv room.And Siska came back to them.

"Meena. said next door neighbor, the minimarket below is in need of employees..I think instead of you just spending time at home doing nothing..Why don't you just work??" said Siska giving advice to Meena.

"Ma.. Why do you want Meena to work??I don't mind Meena not working." asked Yudha against her mother's advice.

"Without your children, there is no harm if Meena works.at least can help the husband's finances, not just stay at home.. Mama used to be Meena's lifetime, but she also worked even though she was married. Don't be a spoiled wife." said Siska advising Meena and Yudha.

"But I still don't allow Meena to work..I want him to stay focused on taking care of me.. Taking full time for me, I know for myself if our marriage is short." Yudha said.

For a moment Siska sighed.

While Meena prefers to be quiet and not join in replying to her mother-in-law's innuendo.

"But still, you want Meena to help you financially..The cost of living is now very expensive, before having children it would be better if from now on Meena works again and saves for preparation if you already have children." replied Siska who remained with his advice.

However, Meena held Yudha's hand and looked at her while shaking her head, gesturing her not to continue her debate with her mother.

Yudha chose to obey Meena.

The next day, before Yudha departed.Meena helped Yudha prepare all the needs of Yudha before leaving for the office.

"You sure you want to keep working??Don't listen to my mother..I'm not asking you to work." asked Yudha to confirm Meena's intention to comply with her mother's request to work.

Siska who was watching tv, while listening to their chat.

"Yes that's okay.Your mother was right, maybe I was too relaxed at home.so there's no harm in me trying to work again.. and today I will try to interview at an office not far from my old office." Meena replied with a smile

Hearing Meena's words that followed her advice, made Siska immediately smile.

"Yes already..Do what makes you comfortable..Don't be too forced and I don't want you to be too tired." Yudha said as she gently brushed Meena's hair.

Meena just smiled and nodded.

"Then I leave.. Dah.." said Yudha saying goodbye.

"Dadah" Meena replied as she waved her hand at Yudha who had come out of her house.
