Chapter 4: The Abyss Army

“Adik Xanox?” eroz repeat can't believe it.

He raised one of his hands to stop his men from torturing Otto. He was interested in listening to this dissident's explanation.

“Do not make it up. Do you want to avoid punishment for stupid reasons like that?” ask Eroz who understands Otto's nature.

“I'm not lying, Eroz. Look at the dungeon and you'll find it there.” replied Otto gasping for breath.

There was no apology for Eroz for his members leaving duty. Although Otto was his right-hand man, the man had abandoned his duties and made Eroz lose a quarter of his stake due to losing a bet with Xanox.

Eroz ordered some of his subordinates to beat Otto as punishment for his defiance. He left Otto battered and one leg broken.

“Otto, I appreciate how you feel about Alexa. But if your attitude is like this, you can endanger the gang in the future.” Eroz said in front of Otto. “I can't risk it. So I'll punish you longer.”

“What?”

“Caro, lock him up in the punishment room for a month. Seize her phone and don't let her out to meet Alexa.” Eroz said then left the room.

“Eroz wait! I promise I won't repeat it! Please don't do this to me!” he cried Otto begging.

Eroz didn't subvert it. For a bucino like Otto, this kind of punishment was excruciating for him. Although Eroz actually could not bear but to make Otto deterred, Eroz will do it.

“What do you want to talk about?” ask Xyna to Eroz.

After making sure of the basement itself as Otto said, Eroz did not expect that he really met Xanox's sister. Although a little wild and a bit was was was to him, Xyna could be well spoken to and did not run away when Eroz took her to the study room to speak four eyes.

“Imut also.” the Eroz gum that Xyna can hear.

The girl's cheeks were flushed with misbehavior. He looked around the empty one and there were only the two of them sitting face to face at the edge of a table. The dirty thoughts turned back in his mind, Xyna started to get uncomfortable!

“A- What do you want to talk about? A-I want to meet my sister soon.” said Xyna as if charging the words Eroz. Previously the man said he would meet Xyna with Xanox as long as Xyna wanted to talk to him in the workspace.

“Not to rush, Miss. Your brother is now busy taking care of the campus's annual events. He has no time to meet you.”

“La- Then why? I just want to meet him and stay with him for a while. Will it be very disturbing?” kekeh Xyna stubborn.

“Why do you want to stay with him?”

“Do you need to know? This is obviously due to family matters. Better you don't have to ask a lot because I won't explain.” said Xyna made Eroz's cheek twitch.

She is the brave girl Eroz met for the first time. Why didn't he tremble and still be able to refute him? Does he not know about Eroz?

“Why?” ask Xyna annoyed. She actually really disliked Eroz's question just now because it reminded her of her mother.

“Do you know your sister lives in a college dormitory? You won't be able to stay with him.”

“It's okay. I'll ask him to rent a small apartment for me. I'm sure big brother has enough money for that.”

“You can't.” object Eroz spontaneously.

“What? Why?”

“Your sister just lost stock. Just recently he was investing to fulfill his final task. But who would have thought the company where he had divested him and carried away all his money.” lied Eroz.

“Then do you think he'll tell you? He must have loved his family very much and did not want to worry his family. For a Markov University business student, this kind of failure is a sin. The impact is obviously very severe considering your brother also studied using a scholarship. So do you still want to bother her, miss?”

Eroz managed to keep Xyna quiet. The girl was cornered and saddened to hear Eroz's lies. Xyna did not realize that she was already trapped into the man's trap.

“Nona, Why are you silent?” tanya Eroz smiled faintly.

“It's okay. I-I was just worried about my sister.” replied Xyna ascertaining Eroz's plan.

“Are you worried about where to stay?”

“Ah... that..” said Xyna considering the main problem. “I'll rent an inn. Maybe I should go back to my city.”

“What's your money enough?”

Xyna did not answer. He was wrong to answer that question. Eroz smiled broadly at his reaction. The man had already prepared a plan to use Xyna in the future.

“What if you stay here?” tanya Eroz makes Xyna flinch.

“Living in jail? Don't want!” spontaneously Xyna refused. “Otto is Xanox's nemesis and you. If I stay here it's the same as being a prisoner!”

Eroz held back his laughter looking at Xyna's ridiculous behavior. In just an instant the girl's emotions turned like the cards behind.

“You can stay here and Otto won't mind it.”

“I don't..”

“Then where do you want to stay?” the ultimate question kept Xyna quiet. “Your brother is in trouble, you have no money and your house is very far from here. Are you intending to be a bum?”

“Ti- No...” replied Xyna cornered.

Looking at his already helpless prey, Eroz smiled wickedly. He took the paper and pen from his desk drawer and put it on the table.

“Let's make a deal.” the thrill while folding both hands. “If you want to join the Night Knight, you can stay here, eat anything here and find a job in the city with my help.”

“Nigte what? What organization is it?”

“That's my organization's name. And right now you're at his base.”

“Heh?!”

Xyna did not suspect it. The girl instantly digested the information she had all this time. Starting from prison, Otto, Workspace to Eroz.

“You're the Boss?!” exclaim Xyna while pointing at Eroz. He stood up from his place after digesting all the information he got.

“You just woke up?” goda Eroz stood up.

Xyna sat back down and turned her face away. His heart was currently beating violently in shock at seeing Eroz's face so close.

“Why sit?” ask Eroz wonder.

“A- I want to join. A- Let's make an agreement and end this immediately.” said Xyna misbehaved. He picked up the paper and pen on the table and began writing.

Eroz chuckles small, “Funny.” his mumble is still heard Xyna.
