17. Recognition

When he arrived at the JC office parking lot, Arungga passed Arbi who looked panicked. Arbi seems to be running in an uncertain direction as if he is looking for something or is avoiding something. Arungga asked out of curiosity.

"Lo why Bi, how panicked?" ask Arungga.

"Dio Ar's. Dio!" said Arbi.

"Why Dio?" ask Arungga.

"Dio's possessed!" sahut Arbi's.

Arungga blinked his eyes because he remembered never encountering an incident like this in his previous life. But Arungga's daydreams fell apart when he saw Arbi running back in confusion.

"When Dio is possessed, why is it that Lo runs away from the rich man in the trance?" asked Arungga not understanding.

"Gue again seeks help from Ar. I'm confused why there aren't any people I can help. Usually, there are security or employees who mill around. It's not there at all. Even the receptionist's desk is empty. The girl on duty there is also not looking!" sahut Arbi fast.

One of them was seen watching in the lobby. Some employees also appear to be pacing around them. And when Arungga turned to the receptionist table, he could see two women there. One of them was sitting while receiving a phone call.

Arungga who thought Arbi was too panicked also tried to understand. He offers help and is called Arbi.

" Let's go to Ar's employee break room !" said Arbi as he took a quick step ahead of Arungga.

Arriving there Arungga and Arbi saw Dio already lying on the floor. All over Dio's body and face were drenched in sweat. At that moment Dio seemed to be writhing in pain while covering his face with both palms.

"Look at Ar. Dio rich gini from earlier. Which makes goosebumps because he is rich again asking for forgiveness is the same thing that is invisible," said Arbi half-whispering.

Arungga nodded then slowly started approaching Dio and touched his hand.

"Dio ... Dio!" call Arungga while shaking Dio's hand.

Dio stopped whimpering then kept the palm away from his face. When he saw Arungga, Dio hugged Arungga tightly while muttering an apology repeatedly.

"Arungga .. sorryin I'm Ar, sorry. The promise cave will never be rich again. Please excuse me I am Ar," pinta Dio with a trembling body.

Although he did not understand Dio's intentions, Arungga just nodded his head in agreement. For him the most important thing right now is to free Dio from the grip of something that is somehow tangible like what.

"Yes. I'm sorry Lo Di. Now get up and sit down. We can talk about this all right," said Arungga.

Arungga's words made the tremors in Dio's body stop. Slowly Dio opened his eyes and broke his embrace then looked at the clingy Arungga. At that time Dio's condition looked terrible. His face looked pale, his lips were blue and his two eyeballs were red.

"Please water Bi," pinta Arungga a moment later.

Arbi rushed to fetch water in a bottle and handed it to Arungga. Before handing it to Dio, Arungga opened the bottle cap and read al-Fatiha surah first.

"Drink now" said Dio-possessed Arungga.

Dio also welcomed the water given by Arungga and gulped it down to the toilet. Afterwards Arbi handed over the tissue and helped wipe the sweat on Dio's face.

"Lo gapapa, right Di?" ask Arbi worriedly.

Dio nodded while observing himself. After his condition improved, Arungga and Arbi helped Dio sit on a chair.

"So now you can tell me what happened. So why on earth?" ask Arbi.

"Mmc ... I was attacked by a creepy creature who sat there Bi," said Dio while pointing to the long sofa in the room.

"Creepy creatures what the hell do you mean. Daritadi here there is no one but Kita Di. Don't bother Lo!" said Arbi gusar.

Seeing Arbi and Dio almost arguing, Arungga rushed to break up.

"Before, don't make a fuss. Now give Dio a chance to make a story and please do not cut Bi first," said Arungga.

"Ok," said Arbi quickly.

" Now it's Lo Di's turn, try to explain slowly," pinta Arungga who is called Dio.

Then the story flowed from Dio's mouth.

At first Dio and Arbi went into the employee break room. They used to rest there waiting for their working hours to arrive. JC does provide a special room for interns like them to rest.

As Arbi and Dio entered, the two stepped in different directions. If Arbi approached the closet to put the bag, Dio sat down while straightening his legs on the long sofa while continuing to play games on his phone.

As Dio straightened his legs, Dio felt like he was touching something. But I remember there was nothing there. Curious Dio turned to the end of the sofa and was surprised to see a long-haired black figure with a creepy face sitting facing him.

At that moment Dio felt his entire body freeze. He could only be transfixed as if forced to stare at the creature even though his little heart refused. From his seat Dio could see the creature doing a terrible and disgusting thing.

The creature was seen tore at its own face with its long, blackened fingernails. After that the creature actually put the meat of his face covered with blood into his mouth and chewed slowly.

Somehow as Dio stared at the creature, the shadow as he tried to trap Arungga flashed back. Dio was panicking. Moreover, the creepy creature then reached out as if he wanted to poke out his face and chewed it as he did earlier. Dio covered his face with both hands for fear of the creature hurting him.

Dio finished his story while rubbing his face. After that he saw Arbi and Arungga who were staring at each other confused.

"Why?, both of you don't believe my story?" ask Dio.

"Believe!" sahut Arungga and Arbi together.

"Continue?" ask Dio impatiently.

"Lo said that Lo was shown what happened when Lo tried to frame me. If you can know when and where?, how come I don't know at all?" asked Arungga while staring at Dio.

Dio also seems to be misbehaving. After thinking for a moment, Dio finally admitted to his crime that had exchanged the file of Arungga's financial statements a few days ago. Dio was forced to confess his crime because he did not want to be haunted by the figure of the creepy black creature again.

Hearing Dio's confession makes Arungga surprised not kepalang. He did not expect that not only Haikal wanted him to be harmed, but Dio as well.

"Gue didn't expect Lo to be that bad at Di. But all this time we never had any problems. I think Lo's attitude is sincere, it turns out...."

"Gue apologise Ar !. I admit I envy you, Lo. I don't like it when Mr. Aji or all the employees here praise Lo's performance. I don't like you going beyond me. But now I'm aware. You deserve credit because the work Lo is good. Bener said Dio, because it is too focused on finding ways to tejatohin Lo, the work I just abandoned and make I get scolded by Mr. Aji. I'm sorry I'm Ar, please," Dio's pinta earnestly.

Seeing Dio's earnestness made Arungga stunned for a moment. Then Arungga nodded his head at the sign that he had forgiven Dio.

"OKs. We assume this never happened. In the future let's learn together and compete healthy to get a decent place in JC," said Arungga sage.

"Agreed !. Let's make JC confused because it can't choose which of the three of us should be kicked out because we're the best prospective employee they've ever met!" sela Arbi stood up and extended her hand to invite toast.

Arbi's words made Arungga and Dio stare at each other for a moment. Afterwards they stood up and placed their palms on Arbi's hands. A moment later the sound of cheers of spirit was heard echoing in the room followed by the laughter of Arungga, Arbi and Dio.

Then they went back to talking relaxed. Arungga sometimes looks smiling. He is happy to be able to get friends like Arbi and Dio who gently want to admit his mistakes. Arungga hopes their friendship can last later.

"If what Dio did was wrong, but at least he was better than Haikal because he wanted to admit his mistake and promise he would never repeat it again" Arungga said with a satisfied smile.
