16 Where Are My Mistakes?

"Oh so you're Rani?"

Rangga and I stood up and looked back. Looking for who called my name.

A well-dressed middle-aged man looked dignified and dashing and his face was somewhat similar to Daniel but this one looked even more resounding.

Is he Daniel's father?

"Are you called Rani?"ask her again while approaching me with a slanted smile. I just nodded and noticed her well either.

"Him?"the man pointed towards Rangga.

"I'm Rangga and we're both Daniel's friends."Rangga lowered his body slowly to pay respects I followed him even though I was actually a bit confused.

"Plusialists? Are you from there?"ask the man like know if Rangga does have an advantage.

Wasn't Plusialis the name of one of the ancient kingdoms on the other Bhilbhult mainland. If it is not wrong to contain humans with special abilities.

"No. My senses are only more sensitive," replied Rangga with a calm expression. While I was thinking if the man in front of me is a spirit as well, seen from the gaze of Rangga who looked at him.

"You two are human?"me and Rangga nodded."would you guys come to the devil's house? Do you want to give me your soul?"

"Go home, you shouldn't be here" he said. The man turned around to leave us but I prevented him.

"But we ingi-"

"What does that mean?"I asked and slowly approached the middle-aged man then stood full of curiosity behind him. He turned around and looked at me spookily.

"You and Daniel are different worlds, so stay away from Daniel don't bother him don't approach him. I've already matched him up" he said, pointing his index finger in front of my face.

"Actually we knew about it. And we're just good friends." I said try to relax a little.

"Go! I've arranged for her," Daniel's father said, making me a little dazed.

"Ep. If that's what we just found out and of course it doesn't matter. But the thing is Daniel had to finish school first and we came here to take him to study together." I tried to smile as naturally as possible to cover my nervousness. He took a deep breath as if holding back his anger.

"My guess is right you don't know what," he said. I really got goosebumps when his hand was pointed at me. I didn't know what Daniel's dad would do.

"Enough dad."

Daniel suddenly stood before me blocking the distance between me and his father. The smoke in his father's hand slowly disappeared. I ran towards Rangga to avoid the debate between the father and the child.

"Daniel look at."

Daniel's father laughed loudly as if humbling Daniel, he pointed towards me and Rangga who were standing behind Daniel's body. I held onto Rangga's arm tightly out of fear.

"Dad I don't know what you mean. That's enough and don't try to attack them."

"Daniel look at it with your own eyes the girl is not yours." father Daniel still laughed. I don't understand the relationship between father and son, they don't seem to get along and why his father doesn't seem to appreciate Daniel.

"Rani's right. Dad never appreciated me" Daniel said, hearing my heart again. I'm afraid I'm really afraid and even more afraid that my inner voice just now can cause trouble.

The black smoke I saw was now billowing around Daniel's hand as well as his father's. I didn't expect Daniel to attack his own father.

"Daniel." I muttered softly as I removed my grip from Rangga's hand. Daniel looked at me.

"Do you want what?"ask Daniel's father to be angry.

"Sorry to interrupt but you're father and son shouldn't be like this" I said, wounding them both. Daniel's father looked at me panted.

"You just go home and don't interfere!"

"Once again I'm sorry but we just want to be friends what it's not to be."

"He's a demon you can't be friends with."

I don't know if my efforts have been successful or not to stop this thing that shouldn't be.

"You shouldn't limit the friendship between your children."Rangga is now helping me talk. I smiled at him thanking him.

Daniel's father's anger began to subside. He took a deep breath to control his emotions. Maybe he was introspection.

"You'll regret it later." Daniel's father's figure suddenly disappeared among the puffs of black smoke.

"I'm sorry your father should have come home" muttered Daniel slowly. Rangga and I approached Daniel to calm him down.

"Daniel!"

"I can explain everything Ran," she said feeling guilty but why she should. I smile.

"Yes, it's all clear. Rangga Lo also."pointing me to Rangga. I smiled slightly at the two of them who were now smiling as well.

"Promise not to be angry."Daniel raised his little finger and pointed it at me. Rangga then did the same.

"Don't get mad at me either."

I linked the two little fingers in my hand to their little fingers.

"Yes I promise."

I squeezed the expensive sofa was strong. I hold my anger, I can't be angry I promised. How could they have lied to me all this time. I exhaled a long breath over and over again.

"I'm a descendant of the devil but I'm not like the demon you imagined. Same but different" Daniel tried to explain. I looked at him demanding to explain his more.

"Rangga helpin dong," asked Daniel while looking at Rangga confused.

"Seriously I still don't understand." I scratched my coarse hair. I don't understand all their explanations.

They have the power to make them do anything. But they remain like human beings with conscience and good manners like a two-sided coin. The difference in living longer and smelling weird."I watched Rangga closely.

"OK okay so the immortal man is the descendant of Man and the devil that is," said Rangga who was a bit upset maybe because I was difficult to understand.

"Yes but it was Daniel who told me to."now my eyes turned to look at Daniel thirsty for explanation.

"Yes Double-sided coin. But the evil side... Above," said Daniel rather maliciously to answer, perhaps he meant that his evil side covered the good side and he hesitated to tell me. I now nodded a little understanding.

"Wings! Where do the wings come from? Lo's father didn't have it" I asked again about the black wings Daniel had.

"Every immortal man has wings only never seen" Daniel said proudly."Rangga just found out, right?"Daniel nudged the body of Rangga who looked at him in disbelief.

"Well that's a new fact" Rangga pointed in agreement towards me.

Now I know who Daniel is why this is why so much of my curiosity has been answered. I nodded my head and understood and smiled. I'll ask you again to be sure.

"So Daniel's conclusion is?"

"Rani's boyfriend."

"A pervert ghost."

"Huh?"I was confused again.

"Gue would rather say that. You see he likes female seductress,"tukas Rangga. I patted my eel.

"So?"daniel hangs up the question. I raised my chin as if asking "what?".

"We're still dating. Yes," said Daniel cheerfully. Rangga and I were both staring back at him.
