Chapter 23

At an airport with a different appearance. Aqilla between Dito and his private jet. Dwi's confidant Dito has been in the cabin of the plane, he waits patiently for Aqilla and Dito to come.

"Go Qilla, believe me everything will be fine. Never try to contact anyone other than me! You must not trust anyone other than me, Dwi and Tania" said Dito, who sat in front of Aqilla.

"Mas, why are you so nice to me?"

"Because I sincerely love you, you are the healer of my heart when my heart is broken for not being able to unite with Angel because of an arranged marriage."

"Please forgive me."

"I always forgive you. Take good care of yourself Qilla, I will always miss you." said Dito who then kissed the head of Aqilla and left Aqilla.

Dito's private jet took off when Dito had disembarked from the cabin.

"Bram, I'm sorry. I have to take your wife away. This I do for the safety of the woman we love." muttered Dito, when he saw the jet carrying Aqilla go to New York City, United States.

Traveling Aqilla, Dito went to the office as usual. He seemed much calmer through the day now. While he was busy working, suddenly the sound of his phone rang again. He looked at his cell phone screen, a call from Aqilla's apartment.

"Mister Yohannes' men must have ransacked Aqilla's apartment." guessed Dito before raising the call.

"Hallo, what's wrong?" greet Dito when he picked up a phone call from the receptionist who had contacted him.

"Sir, forgive us.The unit of Miss Aqilla's apartment was damaged and torn apart by unknown people." said the receptionist with nervousness and guilt, because he had neglected to carry out Dito's orders. Though dai sellu get money transfers with a nominal that is not small from Dito.

"WHAT? How did this all happen?" pekik Dito is playing his part. He pretended to be surprised when he knew all this.

"I'm sorry, sir, it happened so quickly and you are calm, we have reported this to the authorities" said the receptionist who tried to calm Dito who seemed so worried.

"Truely, then I will tell Aqilla about this" said Dito still with his skit.

"What?" Dito responded by pretending to be surprised.

"Our master tried to contact her but---," said the receptionist, interrupted because Dito had turned off his phone call.

"I won't let you hurt the woman I love Mr. Yohannes." Dito muttered in his heart.

He kicked down his desk, expressing his frustration at the cruel Lord John. Dito's table glass also looks cracked because the breakthrough Dito did is quite hard.

Meanwhile, in a hospital room, there was Bram lying with wounds all over his body. As a result of his attitude that still maintains his feelings for Aqilla.

Sandra who came to visit her cousin could only stare sadly at the current state of her cousin.

"Bram, he's gone somewhere. Looks like he's either left this town or left the country to save himself from your Daddy's cruelty."

Bram silently did not respond with words, he only returned to respond with tears falling down his jaw.

"I'm sorry, Aqilla, I can't protect you and let you go back from my side." Inner Bram was so beaten.

Time passed by and Aqilla began a new life with Dwi and Tania. Dito's cousin is also a doctor. He helped Aqilla continue her education as a Special Heart Doctor and also helped her get a job at a famous hospital in New York City.

Meanwhile both Dito and Bram continue to live out their days with the small family they have. Unlike Dito who plays the role of carrying Aqilla's revenge on the wife. Bram is like a statue if he is with his family.

He ignored them all, his body was indeed with them but his heart and soul were with Aqilla. He did not want to answer the call of a child who kept calling him Papi.

Although Mr. Yohannes and Mrs Vienna already knew that the child in the marriage of her son was not the flesh of their son. They keep covering up the fact that they already know this lie from his son-in-law.

However, his son-in-law comes from a distinguished family and is quite influential in the business world. They do not want to take risks that will endanger their company and choose to ignore the feelings of Bram, their only son.
