Part 18: My Ex

For a few days, Gideon changed his appearance. No longer an antique guy with the look of Colonial era youth, but appeared trendy Korean oppa-style. Big intention? Wooiya, obviously! In order to fulfill the wishes of Kanjeng Mami who again misses the same as his favorite prospective daughter-in-law.

Every morning, Gideon also calls Thalita to go together to campus, but is always rejected by the girl. Of course, Thalita did not want to be said to be reciprocated with Gideon. Thalita prefers riding on a motorcycle taxi, or being ushered by her usual cute guy, Moses.

As of this morning, Gideon had already called Thalita, asking her to leave together, but Thalita again refused. Thalita had made a promise, to go with Moses.

Gideon, who gets rejected, decides to spy on Thalita's house. Want to know, who the girl went to college with. Gideon parked the bike a little far away, so that it was invisible to Thalita. Shame, if you look peeking.

A motor stopped in front of Thalita's house, the driver honking once. Before long, Thalita came out of the house while running small.

"Don't run, honey! Later fall, continue to blister, continue to cry. If now, I'm not strong anymore, if told to carry you."

Moses and Thalita frowned their right hands, then laughed. Gideon who saw him became annoyed. Upset with jealousy. Before long, Thalita and Moses had disappeared, and Gideon did not notice. The guy was busy cooling his heart.

"Lho's? How did they say that, anyway? Is their time now sakti? Died kedip has it been spelled out?" gideon was upset.

Gideon immediately launched his bike and left the place. It was in vain that she waited, because Thalita chose to go with her new guy.

Arriving at the campus, many pairs of eyes looked at Gideon in amazement. Some even took the time to look twice. They don't believe it, the antique guy can transform.

"That's really Gideon? That old antique guy Lily?" ask a long-haired girl to her friend.

"Damn! Why is she Lily's ex, anyway? It would be so, if you say that Gideon was Thalita's ex, that's it!" muttered Gideon.

Both girls were shocked. It turned out that the person they were talking about, could hear their chatter. Shame, of course. But Gideon ignored them, and stepped steadily toward his class.

Arriving at the class, Lily was blown away by Gideon's look. The girl gawked, even a fly almost went into her mouth.

"That's really my dearest ex? How cute is that anyway?" lily said unconsciously.

Gideon, who heard this, turned to Lily immediately. "We're not exes, because we've never been. Understood?"

"Everyone knows, if we're exes. Why is it covered?" ask Lily, annoyed.

"I can't say your ex! We've only ever been close as friends, colleagues in the work, nothing more!" Gideon felt furious.

"I don't care, you're my ex. Dear ex!" Lily remained ngeyel.

Gideon ignored Lily. Serving girls is a waste of energy. He would stick with his ridiculous opinion, if they were exes. Gideon immediately stepped out, into Thalita's class.

"Weh, there's this stray bidadara, like e! Find who, Bang?" greet Deasy.

"Thalita hasn't come yet, Des? I want to see him."

"No, Bang. It's me waiting for him too. He sent a message, nawarin would bring chicken porridge for breakfast. Maybe still buy porridge. By the way, Tumben Abang looks cool?"

"Tumbens? So I wasn't cool before, was I, Des?" gideon pretended to be disappointed.

Gideon, who understood Deasy's innuendo, immediately frowned. Deasy likens him to Grandpa, is that how he looks?

"You think, if I danced, Thalita would turn me back on?" asked Gideon expectantly.

"Wow, if that's not what I know, Bang. Thalita's guy is cool right now. Just ask the same person," Deasy said with a mischievous smile. It was as if there was something hidden by the girl, something funny, that Deasy could be seen holding back a laugh.

Gideon's face looked slightly tangled, after hearing Deasy's reply. His confidence to go back to Thalita, was a little saggy. Gideon sighed.

"Well, that's Thalita coming, Bang!" point Deasy at Thalita who looks carrying a crackle bag.

Gideon had always been fascinated by Thalita's appearance, even though he had seen her this morning. The girl looked cute with the navy blue shirt and blue jeans she was wearing. Also a matching blue bando that perched sweetly on his head.

"This, Des! Chicken for you."

"Well, thank you, Tha. Got you where?"

"And I don't like porridge. Flaccid. There's no struggle when eating."

"So?"

"So, because already Brother Moses is not going to eat chicken porridge, yes I just nemenin. I keep remembering you like porridge, so I pack one for you."

"Oh, like that. This must be what Moses paid, right? Say thank you to me he's yes!"

Thalita nodded, then stepped into the classroom. But Gideon held his hand quickly.

"Tha?" gideon said doubtfully.

"Yes, Bang! What's up?" Thalita looked at Gideon coldly. There was still some lingering anger in Thalita's clear eyes.

"Pw .. anu. Mama asked you to come home, miss she said."

"Oh! Yes, Bang. Later if it is not busy, Thalita play to the house of Mama Brother."

"Gi .. Is that right, Tha? Can't you later, go home from college?"

"Sorry, Bang! Can't do. I have an appointment back from college with Moses. He's making his way to the mall, buying drumsticks."

Deasy almost burst out a laugh, but managed to cover it up with small coughs. While Thalita just grinned, but wanted to be uprooted.

"Yes, Bang."

After Gideon left, Deasy and Thalita's laughter exploded. Both of them were holding a cramped stomach for holding back laughter.

"Oh, you want to, Tha! Getting back together with your dearest ex" Deasy said.

"Ah, it's not that easy, Juminten. We'll see how hard he tries" Thalita said, glaring ignorantly.
