Two years later
"So take Bee's leave?"
"So dong, I've missed going home"
"How long?"
"About two weeks. Not long"
"That means all your leave's been spent?"
"No, there are two days left. Is there a red date?"
"Related with your return?"
"Yes, how many years have I not been home?. Last time I saw my mom at graduation"
"Next week I have a meeting in Bali for a week. So next week we're parting ways for a while"
"Yes, just for a second"
"What do you want to bring from Bali?"
"don't know. It's up to you"
"Bring up kayak food usually?"
"No need, it doesn't last long. I haven't come home yet"
"What do you want Sa to bring?"
"No, it's important that you go home and come back to me"
"Aren't you talking about it?"
"What?"
"That came back to me? How come?"
"Don't ya!" he said, shaking his shoulder.
"I don't know Bee" he said again as if confirming his earlier statement.
"Now!" yell again.
This afternoon we were sitting together enjoying coffee and fried bananas in a restaurant surrounded by coffee gardens.
Located quite far from the city, suddenly there was a desire to enjoy a cup of coffee while listening to the chirping of birds flying back to the nest.
The afternoon is very beautiful spent alone with a lover, while enjoying the sounds of natural singing that may be difficult to get while in the city.
The sky began to show its golden color, it would soon come down to cover it. And we don't want to go home yet.

Mahesa already works as a marketing company in a private company. A few months after he graduated from college and tried to apply for jobs in several companies, he was finally accepted by national private companies.
It took him two months to adjust to his job. The shy, non-talking Mahesa gets a job that requires her to talk a lot.
Meeting people and offering a product was originally a torture for Mahesa.
He always complained about a lot of things to me at the time. Every day we have to meet, because he needs me to be a place to share his complaints.
I always listen to what he complains about. Although sometimes I'm too tired because I just came home from out of town. I always try to be there for him.
The longer I listened to the same complaints every day, the more I became fed up. I was angry when his complaint sounded crybaby in my ear.
"Stop complaining! Is there any use for your complaint? Can it make you go forward or just make you walk on the spot?" I saw his face quite surprised by my anger.
"Not to continue feeling sorry for yourself. I'm sure you can get through this. If you're uncomfortable, stop and leave your job"
"If you choose to stick around, work as much as possible. Sometimes I complain I listen. But if every time you complain, I get tired of hearing it! "
Mahesa just silently looked at me. There's no anger there. He understands me who sometimes quite loudly conveys the strings that are on my mind. For years he knew me.
I saw a faint smile on his lips. "Tomorrow I'll bring you a different story"
"I'm waiting for a different story, if your story is still the same. Better keep it to yourself"
Finally after that night, Mahesa came up with a different story. A more optimistic story. Sometimes he complains, it's okay for me. What matters is that he has changed.
Sure enough, there was a sweet result that he obtained. He was chosen as one of the best employees in the company.
"Bee, I was voted one of the best employees. Thank you yes"
My face heard the news. I am happy with his success. I am happy with his hard work.
"Congratulations, I know you can. Wait a minute, thanks for what?"
"For your anger that night and for your support all this time"
"I'm sorry that night, yes, I just don't want you not to use your potential to the fullest. Prove that you can"
"Thank you Bee, you've always been there for me"
He held my hand tightly, like he didn't want to take it off.

I see my watch, I'll be boarding soon. I can't wait to see my mom and my sisters.
Mahesa was already in Bali, she left yesterday. There's a national meeting there. While we are separated by distance and time. It was at his place to call me, among his busyness. Asking my circumstances and whereabouts.
"When you get to tell me. Have a nice vacation. Bee, I love you" I answered with a friendly kiss. I miss.

The flight takes about two hours. I told my mom I didn't have to pick her up at the airport.
"Mama wait at home, the important thing is mama cook my favorite food. Mashed yam leaves are the same anchovies patched" I said this morning.
I miss my mom's cooking and miss her smell. I miss my sisters, talking late into the night with them, while swatting at the mosquitoes that perch on our skin. I miss home.

When I arrived in Medan, I immediately told Mahesa, when I arrived. I don't want him to worry about waiting for my news.
I saw my mother waiting at the door with my sisters. I can't wait to hug my son who has been around for a long time.
Immediately kissed him and embraced me with a million yearnings. There was a cry from the corner of his eye. Finally his daughter came home.
"Have all your mama ready, eat. You must be hungry"
I saw a dish on the dining table that was appetizing. Can't wait to get it right away.
We eat while talking about anything. I prefer to listen to my mom and my sisters chiming in on each other. I'm happy to be home again, with my family.
"Nes, later tonight bone, bone, uda just as you want to come. I miss seeing you"
It just so happened that my mom was all in the field. My relationship with my mother's family is very close. I love it when we get together with my mom's family. There are always funny stories.
***
The most exciting is when spending the night of the turn of the year.
In the batak family, the turn of the year means gathering with the family at home, while singing hymns, and thanksgiving has passed a year in life.
Pray for strength and health to live out the next year.
We also gathered to talk to each other to express our hopes. There is also advice given by parents, even criticism can be delivered that night. I hope that in the future it can be even better.
Usually, the children start talking and then continue with the parents.
As usual, children will apologize for mistakes that have been made and hope there is a rise in pocket money. I laugh a lot remembering it.
Although every year delivered but usually there is no increase in pocket money. And we never despair of saying the same thing every year.
There is also a dinner together. Usually each family brings food to eat together.
Our little ones were the happiest that night. You can gather with your cousins while putting up candles and playing fireworks. Eat a variety of cakes until your stomach becomes distended because of fullness.

When mama told me about the arrival of the big family later tonight. In my heart, I felt sure they would talk about my relationship with Mahesa. I hope they understand.
