Trying to Remember the Past

Jims is the doctor who treated Vic is looking at the results of one of his patients' reports.

"Rancy, a young girl, but so ill-fated, almost died of wounds on her body that were so severe" Jimz said.

"Doctor Jimz" said a nurse who had just stepped into Jimz's room.

"What's up, Sister Winz?"

"This is the data of the patient who just arrived earlier" replied the nurse who put the report on the table.

"Okay, thank you!" said Jimz.

"Is Doctor Jimz reading a patient report named Rancy?"

"Yes, Caine's doctor is out of the country and he asked me to treat this patient if there's anything!"

"She is the wife of Doctor Chris" Sister Winz said.

"Yes, I know about this, the famous plastic surgeon doctor is very generous.This patient is lucky because the doctor made her his wife!"

"The kind of guy like Doctor Chris was a woman's dream, we were so heartbroken when we heard he was married. we did not expect Doctor Chris to be so handsome but could be interested in a disabled woman who at that time had not been operated on" Sister Winz said with a smile.

"Young doctors are smart in every way, disabled women don't make him sick, look at this woman's picture is pity enough.but Doctor Chris was able to cure her so that she doesn't have the slightest disability" Dr. Jimz said.

"Although, it's unfortunate that the woman lost her memory. Doctor Caine has not been able to help her to heal."

"Doctor Chris found the woman by the beach, she had lost her memory. Therefore no one knew what had happened" replied Sister Winz.

"A case like Vic Andrianez the only way is for him to accept the reality of his wife's death" said Doctor Jimz.

While Vic was still searching for his wife's whereabouts, he sent his members searching the entire island across it.

That afternoon Vic was standing on the beach looking across the island which looked very small from the position where he was standing. His hope was that he could find his wife on one of the islands.

"Grace, I wish you were alive, and I can feel that you didn't die" Vic murmured.

Vicnez was transferred by Rancy to a children's school, although Vicnez was only four years old, but he was taught to read, draw, sing and hang out with other friends. while studying, Rancy worked as an employee in one of the city's biggest super markets as a side hustle.

"Rancy, today you came alone, where's your husband?" ask his coworkers.

"Chris is out of the country, because there's work!" answer Rancy.

"Has Chris' doctor been sent to Turkey?"

"Yes, he and his partner!"

"There is great danger, hopefully they'll be safe and come home soon!"

"I hope so too" said Rancy.

"Who's his partner?"

"Doctor Caine!" rancy replied while putting together the items.

"She's a woman, why go with your husband?"

"They've known each other and been friends all along!"

"A man and a woman go there, don't you worry?"

"Why should I worry? wouldn't it be better if they went together, because there were friends" said Rancy.

"Your husband is so handsome, what if he's seduced by that woman?"

"Don't talk carelessly! continue working!" rancy said, continuing her work.

"Rancy, it's not that I'm easily suspicious or worry you, although friends but if often together anything can happen.what else if a man moves away from his wife. I've seen a lot of infidelity with his own friends or his wife's friends."

"Continue work! don't talk weird!" said Rancy who walked in the other direction because she did not want to hear the words of her colleague.

As Rancy was doing her job, suddenly the item she was holding fell to the floor.the woman squatted down and held her head in pain.

"Aargh.

"It hurts!" rancy gumam.

Rancy who was experiencing pain in her head, again appeared the voice of the man inside her head.

"This is a gift for you, money is not a problem. This marriage is forever. I want to give the best memories for the wife I love."

"Do you feel happy?"

"Is he Vic? this marriage is forever? is this what he said on our wedding day? what happened to us exactly? why can I be injured and unconscious to get washed away to the island" Rancy murmured.

The distressed Rancy ran straight to the main door and left her workplace, holding down a taxi passing by.

"Please take me to the beach!"

"Okay, lady" replied the driver.

"I have to find my lost memory, who my husband is and where he is, whether he is alive and what has happened to me" said Rancy.

After a few minutes later, Rancy arrived at the beach, the woman saw the sea and there were several ships in the middle of the ocean.

"Wedding? was there an incident at the time" Rancy murmured.

The woman tried to recall the incident experienced by her at that time, the shadow of an explosion and a burning fire that occurred on a ship.

The loud noise from the explosion made his head even more painful and screamed.

"Aarggh...," Rancy's screams while looking at a ship far enough away from her distance appeared the shadow of a luxury ship that contained hundreds of people laughing and toasting each other. the shadow that appears is on the day of his wedding attended by hundreds of people.

"I got married that day, and.Who's Vic? why can't I remember his face?" rancy gumam.

Not long after, a shadow of her kissing her husband appeared, but the man who appeared in her memory was only fleeting and unclear.

"What's really going on? how can my memory recover ? I don't want this to go on" Rancy said.

"Aarghh..," cried Rancy who was annoyed at still failing to remember her past.

Rancy took out the necklace she was wearing, the wedding ring she had made as a necklace and carried everywhere all this time.

After he saw the name, his cries broke.

"The explosion happened on the ship, was it when we got married? and what about Vic's condition, why can't I remember who he is at all" Rancy said.

"Vic, are you still alive? five years have passed, I forgot about you. How do I look for your whereabouts. I want to investigate the ship explosion five years ago.but where and in what country?"rancy gumam.

Rancy washed her face in the sink with a mirror there.she looked at herself through the mirror and was silent for a moment.

After a few minutes Vicnez headed to the bathroom.The little boy then stopped his steps and saw his mother just silently staring in the mirror.

"Did mom miss papa?mama's face seemed to be sad," murmured Vicnez.

"I have to call papa, so that mama can talk to him, but.papa must be busy is not good to disturb papa at work.how about I calm mama alone," murmured Vicnez.

"Mama! Mama!" call Vicnez who's approaching Rancy.

"Vicnez, what's wrong?"

"Mom, Vicnez wants to watch a cartoon, can you accompany Vicnez?" tanyakanya.

"All right, honey!" reply Vicnez.
