Gibran walked over where the baby twins were. This was the first experience for Gibran but long before his Almeera had told Gibran there was another prayer that was offered at the time the baby was born.

"Allhumma J'alhu bran taqiyyan rasydan wa-anbit-hu fil islami nabatan hasananan."

After reading the prayer, Gibran continued to read al-Ikhlas letter then Al-Qadr on the right ear of the baby.then Ali Imran letter verse 36

"Wa innii a'uudzu bika wa dzurriyyatahaa minasy syaitaanir rajiim"

“I plead for protection for him and his descendants to (maintenance) You from the damned devil.” (QS Ali Imran :36)

Not only that Gibran also read the prayer that the Prophet read for his grandson Hasan and Husayn, so as to be avoided from Ain's disease.
