Allow Me to Be With You

CHAPTER 4

As usual, Nico entered the campus without any kind of spirit. No intention to learn. He just came to the campus to avoid the house for as long as possible. There's no other reason than that.

Nico walks to a class on English Drama Studies. Nico is really sick. All the packages presented in the course, both lecturers, dictates make him an instant stomachache. During these two years, Nico regretted his entire college life.

Nico opened the door of his class lazily. As soon as he appeared, Mr. Robin, the lecturer was the first to be seen. Nico looked at him for a moment. Then decided to find the back seat, which would allow him to sleep comfortably. But before Nico could make a move, Mr. Robin blocked him.

"Look who's coming?" said Mr. Robin sarcastically while staring at Nico from head to toe. "Worn out t-shirts, refugee like pants, dog necklaces.. So a next generation. I'm Wonder.. What are you doing in my class, Mr. Nico?"

Nico looked at Mr. Robin with a defiant look. This old man felt himself as the owner of this campus.

"You have a problem with that?" ask Nico coldly. Suddenly Mr. Robin widened his eyes.

"You..!!" mister Robin exclaimed in a rage, but the next second immediately controlled himself as the whole class watched him. "If you don't have any intention to get along in my class, you may leave now. Pelase.." said Mr. Robin as he pointed towards the door.

Without saying anything else, Nico stepped out by kicking the classroom door wide open. In the corridor, he still kicked whatever he saw. Bins, chairs, even flower pots that make the ground scattered. Nico was yelled at by everyone, but Nico didn't care. Right now, he was completely out of control.

"Naico!"

Someone called Nico, but Nico wasn't talking to anyone. The one who called her was Lisa. Lisa, the sweet girl ran with all her might to match her steps with Nico.

"Co! Lo why the hell? How's everyone at the kick?" ask after being able to parallel with Nico.

"What's your business?" nico snapped without looking at it one bit.

"Co, do you know where Nathan is?"

Nico's move immediately stopped. He glanced fiercely at Lisa who was smiling instead. Nico looked at him as if he wanted to kill someone.

"Do you seriously want to know my answer?" ask Nico hard.

"No" Lisa replied calmly, because she already knew Nico's character well. "Gue just wants to make you stop walking like The Flash" Lisa continued, then laughed.

Nico did not laugh. She still looked at Lisa, which made Lisa immediately stop her laughter.

"Gue wanted to talk" Lisa said at last. "But after you tell me why you're walking like a possessed man"

"Gue told you it's none of your business" said Nico as he walked back. Lisa followed him immediately.

"Can we? My feelings, in the past whatever is your business will be my business as well" Lisa said again.

Nico stopped suddenly so Lisa hit his back. Nico looked at Lisa again, then laughed sinisterly.

"Lo's kidding, right?" tanyakanya.

"How joke?" Lisa asked back. "Gue seriously, Co. Lo why the hell?"

"Gue's serious about letting you know too" said Nico leaning his face against Lisa's. Stare sharpens. "Lo don't joke anymore. I'm sick of the pretentious look of innocent lo, with the word lo that seems like nothing has ever happened" he continued, then walked back quickly to the park.

Lisa was silent for a moment, then immediately chased after Nico back. Lisa grabbed Nico's burly hand and turned her body.

Ares was really sick of this girl, even though he was silent he loved her. But, that feeling soon dissipated after he recalled that this girl, the girl who was very close to him a year ago, was Nathan's lover.

"Denger yes, Sa. Don't you think we can still be good after what you've done to me! Come on, get out there. Find that rancid athlete there." Nico said coldly, then turned around.

"Co! I'm the same Nathan broke up!" sahut Lisa, make Nico's steps stop. "The same guy he broke up! Lo denger, right?"

Nico bergeming's. The news surprised him quite. All this time, he thought Lisa and Nathan's relationship was okay.

"Gue just realized, if what I care about is elo. And I've lost it so much" Lisa said again in a trembling voice.

For a few minutes, all that fell was a sobbing of Lisa.

"Related always comes later" replied Nico finally, then for the most part tried to leave again. But for the other time, Lisa's hand prevented it.

"Co, please beat me up!" lisa screamed with a loud voice.

Nico looked at Lisa again. The girl who had been close to him, even the only one who had spoken to him. The girl who once had a place in his heart. But all of it vanishes and burns to anger when Lisa cheerfully tells her that she and Nathan are together. Apparently, for a year Lisa approached Nico, just to get a Nathan.

Oh, not 'just' Nathan, but a great guy in every field, both academic and extracurricular, as well as the most popular guy on campus.

"Sa, dangerr. Lo Denger is good because I just want to talk once. I don't want to hear about apalun anymore. You think, after you broke up with Nathan and you said nyesel and all the macems, you can deket again the same me? Don't dream!" nico said coldly while trying to let go of Lisa's hand. But the girl held it with all her might.

"Co, please give me a chance." said Lisa Lirih. "Gue please.."

Nico looked at Lisa disgusted. She didn't expect Nathan to cut his ties with this girl. In the past, Nico thought Nathan wouldn't waste Lisa. Butno. Nico won't care about anything anymore. His hatred for Lisa has been building ever since Lisa told him she loved Nathan. And because of her status as a couple from Nathan, Lisa who was not who suddenly became the most popular girl at that time. Lisa obviously enjoyed it so much that she forgot about Nico's whereabouts.

But of all that, what sickened Nico the most was that Lisa knew there was competition between Nico and Nathan. Therefore, he approached Nico with the aim of making Nathan jealous. Nico knows that. That Lisa had been using it all along.

"Sa, you know I'm not the kind of person who gives second chances. So you should know there's no point in doing something like this" Nico said. Then at the jolt of Lisa's hand so that it detaches from her hand.

"Nico, I'm mrs! I'm niesel, okay? I'm nyesel! hiks.hiks.." said Lisa in despair. The girl started crying again.

Nico tried not to look at him. "Good if you are nyesel. But baby, that means nothing to me anymore."

"Co! I miss elo. I miss when we used to play together!" say Lisa again. Nico glanced at him sharply.

"Sa, why the hell? You want to go back with Nathan, but don't know how? Want to use a sneaky way lai kayak first? Not popular anymore?" nico snapped, which made Lisa cry even louder.

Nico threw his face away. If only Lisa had not cried because of something this important, Nico would have hugged her to calm her down. But Nico doesn't touch anything Nathan touches.

Lisa suddenly jumped towards Nico and hugged him tightly. For a moment, Nico fell silent in surprise. But the next second, she regained her senses and took off Lisa's embrace. Lisa is still sobbing.

"Co, isn't there really a way for us to turn around?" ask Lisa in between her tears.

Nico sighed. "Yes" he said steadily. "So, don't put me in your business with Nathan anymore."

Nico left Lisa looking at him sadly. Nico doesn't want to know more about Lisa and Nathan. Enough of all the betrayals he's experienced.
