Chapter 12: Arriving at the City of the White Rose
A day had passed since Wang Lin and his disciple decided to go out of the forest. They were currently quite far away in the North of the forbidden forest, and it would at least take some more time to arrive at the city of white roses.
"Master, is the journey still far away?" Asked Yan Ruyu.
Wang Lin stopped while holding his chin with his hands, he turned around and answered him.
"Hmm, I think we'll be in the rose city by night."
"Are you tired?" Wang Lin asked when he saw the expression of his disciple.
"Ah, I'm not tired of masters at all."
Wang Lin squatted down while opening his back wide, he turned his head back and said.
"Come here, I'll carry you."
"Ah, it doesn't need a master..." Yan Ruyu blushed, she felt her heart beating faster.
"I forced.."
Sighing, Yan Ruyu tried to act as calm as possible. He walked then tied both of his arms around Wang Lin's neck.
"We're leaving..."

Wang Lin and Yan Ruyu moved quickly to the north. Because the forest area was filled with swamps, Wang Lin moved quickly through the branches of trees around him.
After a long while, Wang Lin stopped when he heard the sound of a fight not far from his location.
"Did you hear it too Ruyu?" Asked Wang Lin.
"Yes master, I think the fight happened 70 meters from here." Clearly Yan Ruyu.
Wang Lin was startled as well as nodded, "The perception of this girl is truly appalling, even that is better than I have."
"Are we going there? Shouldn't we not have to interfere with the master?"
"Yes, we'll see it first."
That way, the two people darted to where the fight had occurred.
Behind the bushes, three women were cornered with their bodies drenched in blood.
Their arms, legs, and faces were filled with sword incisions.

The two junior sisters nodded, after they saw the signal given by his senior brother. The two people fled with their sect techniques.

As his subordinates tried to chase after the two girls who had fled earlier, sword slashes shot towards them.
"I won't let you go!!"

The man unsheathed the sword with lightning speed shot towards the woman.

A metallic clashing sound rang out every time the two of them unleashed an attack.
Unfortunately, the woman lost far in terms of strength. In just a few movements, the woman's body was thrown until it hit the tree trunk.
"Keke, how dare you stop me. Your cultivation is only at the Late Qi Refining realm, how can you compete with me who is an Expert at the peak Qi Refining realm." The man chuckled.
He gripped the girl's wrist and pushed her against the tree trunk which caused the girl to be unable to move.
"You catch those two fleeing girls, I'll enjoy this girl first before bringing her to the sect."
The five subordinates nodded, they immediately went towards the two girls fleeing.
"Keke, now it's just the two of us. Do I have to take off your upper clothes first.." The man grinned.

He received a hard slap on his right cheek that caused his right cheek to swell.
"Fucking woman!! Even if I kill you, I will dirty your corpse and throw it away to be made into food for wild animals... Haha.. "
Hearing that, the girl's body trembled. He could not help the fear that made him shed tears.
"T–No, you savage! A human like you is far worse than a demon."
The man paid no heed to his words at all, in enjoying how the girl's frightened expression was.
Meanwhile behind the bushes, Wang Lin widened his eyes, his body was trembling with rage, the killing intent coming out of his body felt extremely terrifying.
"Ruyu, close your eyes for a second. It'll end in a second."
Yan Ruyu obediently closed her eyes, as she opened her eyes. Wang Lin was already not beside him, instead the man's head slipped off his body and fell right behind his body.
"Junk men like you don't deserve to live." Said Wang Lin in a cold voice.
Meanwhile, the girl who was near the tree fell down speechlessly.
He really did not expect such an event to happen.
"Get this, it'll heal your body's wounds."
Before leaving, Wang Lin gave the girl a healing pill.
"Well, it's not too late to save you both juniors."
Wang Lin turned around and left without looking over.
As her figure disappeared, the girl hesitated a little to swallow the pill that Wang Lin gave her. But since the fate of his two juniors was in his hands, he had no other choice but to swallow it.
Within a few seconds, the wounds on his body disappeared. Moreover, the fatigue he felt disappeared in an instant.
"What?" The girl was confused, she did not expect that the effects of the pill would make her recover in a matter of seconds.

Wang Lin smiled, at stroking his disciple's head while saying thanks to him.
"Let's go, we should get to the city of white roses before night."
Yan Ruyu nodded, she stood up then walked towards the city of white roses.
When the sun was about to sink in the west direction, Wang Lin and his disciple stopped right at the edge of the cliff.
From up there, he saw a large city with a fourth level protective array surrounding every corner of the city.
"Finally we arrived ... City of white roses."
"Close to Ruyu."
Yan Ruyu who was behind him nodded, she walked right beside Wang Lin and said.
"Yes Master?"
Without saying a word, Wang Lin carried Yan Ruyu like a princess.
He coats his entire body using Qi, "Get tightly onto Ruyu, we're going down."

From the cliff that was nearly a hundred meters high, Wang Lin's figure plunged down while carrying Yan Ruyu in his arms.
