Aliaa And Gaza

Aliaa And Gaza
Episode 9

   “Give me that phone!!”

“No! This is not my phone! I have to keep this phone until I meet the owner!” reject Aliaa.

Aliaa rebelled and fled from Israel.

“Ummi, take me away from this situation!!”

Eventually he entered one of the dark rooms at the end of the alley. There's a light switch. He tried to bring her to life.

“Who is the girl? How did he get in here? Why did he bring a cell phone?”

   “Eee..”

Aliaa took a few steps back. He hit a man behind him. He did not realize that behind him in the strict guard of some men.

“Astagfirullahh!! Not mahram!” aliaa shouted as she rubbed her hands.

“Hmm... It looks like he is Muslim.”

“Can you give me your phone?”

“No! This isn't my phone! I have to return it first!”

    “Alright! Turn off the phone!”

   Aliaa turned off Asima's phone.

   “You want to kill me?”

“Why did you enter this room?”

“I don't know. I just ran, then I saw there was a house, yes I've entered.”

   “Hemm? Is that true?”

“Why should I lie? I just don't know where this is and I don't know where this is. I don't even know who you are.” Aliaa.

  “You're not a citizen here?”

“Not. I'm from Egypt. I've been in jail for 2 months. It's the 4th day I'm living in Gaza outside of prison. I'm on my way from Jabalia to the Gaza Strip. I'm looking for Alaa, my friend.” Aliaa blakan.

“It seems he is too honest.”

“Go back! There's my sister there.”

Aliaa was silent. Then he looked at the man who told him to go back.

“How about Alaa? Who takes care of Asima in the hospital?” ask Aliaa.

“You have family here?”

“No. Asima is my friend's sister in Gaza. He's coming with me and Alaa to Jabalia.”

“Go back. Alaa will be searched.”

“HAFSHA!! DON'T TALK WEIRD TO HER!”

  “Iya yes.”

Aliaa went in there. He pondered. Is Yasmeen going to be mad at him? Will Alaa be found soon?

“Do not worry. I'm sure Alaa is still around here.”

“You know where the bathroom is?” ask Aliaa.

“Oh yes. He's in the corner of the room.”

“I go to the bathroom first. Nitip bag first yes!!”

   “Can I open your bag?”

Aliaa just nodded then walked into the bathroom as quickly as possible. Hafsha opened Aliaa's bag. There's just a camera, an Asima phone, and some snacks. Hafsha approached her sister.

“Nothing weird, brother. Just the camera, the phone, and some food. There's actually 1 more, but I don't want to tell brother.”

     “Hafsha, let me know!”

“That's all you can know is women! I don't want my sister to feel disgusted if I tell her.”

No one dared to yell at the man except his sister.

“Yes already, it's up to you! Go back to the back!”

“Can I take him to the Gaza Strip?”

     “You do know the address?”

“But I know Yasmeen. He's a doctor at the hospital. He knew Alaa. Maybe he can help.”

“Ya, go. But remember, you must return home before Maghrib.”

“Where can it be like that?”

“You will arrive in the Gaza Strip around Ashar time! You want to hang out there?”

“Ya yes. Alright. I'll be back before Maghrib.” Hafsha said he gave up.

He went back into the back room.

“Aliaa, let's go to the Gaza Strip. I'll drop you off.”

   “But, how about Alaa?”

“Tak what. I'll look for him later.

Hafsha and Aliaa came out through the back door. Indeed, the back door is only reserved for Hafsha and the Muslims. Aliaa stared at the path she passed. What if Yasmeen is angry with him?
