Aliaa And Gaza

Aliaa And Gaza
Episode 3

  20 January 2018

Night blind, Aliaa along with 9 other journalists managed to cross the Egyptian border – Gaza. Because, if Aliaa and a team of journalists enter Palestine through Jordan, they will not get to Gaza, but get to the Aqsa Mosque, where to Gaza through the Aqsa Mosque it is strictly forbidden.

“Hufft~ is usually a night blind like this one keeps here.”

 “Who?” ask Aliaa.

“Itu~ there are armed groups guarding here.”

Their car was stopped. Jannah got out of the car.  After a long enough conversation, they made it through the place.

“Kak Jannah sih~ try to enter Gaza malem malem. T_T serem tau. Feel like being flanked.”

After resting overnight (Gaza entry at around 10pm Gaza time), Aliaa carried out his duties at the scene of the clashes. The 21-year-old girl who had just graduated from college in 2017 was stunned when she saw blood splattered from the clashes.

“Aisyaa, when are we in Gaza?” asked Aliaa grimacing.

“In a fairly long period of time. But not until a quarter of a year.” Answer Aisyaa casually.

Suddenly, for some reason, the IDF targeted Aishaa's leg. Aisyaa grimaced, clutching her shot leg. If asked for pain, it is clear. The medical team evacuated him to an ambulance. Aliaa, a 21-year-old journalist. Some IDF approached him, pulled him, and unmitigated, they dragged Aliaa to a gate. Aliaa disappeared behind the brownish-red gate.

Gaza, January 25, 2018

Shafa, as the vice-chairman of the troupe is still looking for the whereabouts of Aliaa. This is the 5th day Aliaa disappeared behind the brownish-red fence.

“Someone knows, when Aliaa got there same who?” tanya Shafa investigates on 7 members of the journalist (Aliaa missing, Aisyaa in the hospital).

“She is the same Aisyaa and Khadiija.”

   “Aisyaa where?”

  “Khadiija, where is Aliaa?”

“He pulled some IDF, then disappeared behind the fence. I tried to stop, but I couldn't.” replied Khaadija slowly.

The atmosphere was silent for a moment. Until finally, the group leader spoke up.

“He caught. But Allahu a’lam she flanked there.”

  “Where do you know Jannah?”

“I was arrested while recording in 2015 ago.” Jannah replied while continuing to push her phone.

“Aliaa is a journalist. I'm sure we can release him under the pretext that Aliaa is a journalist.”

“It's not that easy Shafa! That's very hard. Humanitarian volunteers can also be caught as they see! Prison is so scary. Aliaa is not the only victim. There are many journalists

others who were killed. Countless number of fatalities have been filed due to torture.” Jannah.

“He disappeared behind the brownish red fence that coincided with the high wall wall right?”

   "Yes" replied Khadiija

“Good! now Aliaa is captured! They can even catch you under the pretext of ‘suspicious’. You won't know when Aliaa will be released. Aliaa himself will not know when he will be released by the IDF. In fact, allahu a’lam Aliaa is still alive or not.”

“So how now?” ask Shafa who is starting to fret.

“Don't forget, we entered Gaza, which means we have agreed to all the risks that have been prepared here. I don't know how to free Aliaa. We can only resign and pray to Allah, may Aliaa be released soon.” Answer Jannah.

Successfully entering Gaza, it means that Aliaa has agreed to the risks involved. Among them is not being able to get out of Gaza, arrested, injured, losing limbs, and the most sadistic is DEAD.
