CHAPTER 18 (Is He a God?)

For the first time, I could feel very calm and comfortable in a place filled with darkness. I also just found out that the world of darkness is really real, not just a myth. I mean, outside of the world of the jinn who are usually dominated by the theme of gray or sephia and certainly filled with creatures of diverse forms.

When my tribe is drawn to the jinn, I always feel uncomfortable. That's because, the whole limelight of the creatures is on me. I know, they must be feeling uncomfortable with the sudden arrival of humans.

The scene where a fallen demon named Tomoe enters into another realm. Where the gathering place of demons whose shape is upnormal all. Although it is not specific, more or less, such is the image of the jinn realm that I can describe. 

"Clarissa, it's kind of hard to meet you in person."

"Looks like. Okay, even if we can't meet face to face, our voices can still be heard from each other. What if you tell me why you got into this world?"

 Silent.

"Ariana? You can still hear my voice, right?" 

"ye-yeah, Clarissa. I was just a little nervous to start telling stories. For sure it all started with the whisper of the shadow."

"Shadows? You mean, the creature that is currently taking over your body?" 

"true."

I tried to sit down and listen to what Ariana was going to tell me.

Well, even though I have not purely believed that Ariana in this world is the real one or only a genie disguised as Ariana to make me confused. 

"I'm ashamed of Clarissa."

"Why are you ashamed?"

"I'm ashamed because .. I can't protect myself. I have always been a coward who is easily oppressed by people who have a physique as a human, but his soul is as level as the devil of Hell."

I scratched my head. The sentence that Ariana just said was still in digesting mode inside my brain. 

"Over the years, I've always been the victim of bullying that happens at school," after saying that line, he fell silent for a moment. "I can't defend myself at all. Whatever they say, I always do. That's because, if I don't follow his orders, then I'll be beaten to death. You must have considered me a useless human, right?"

Hearing that it turns out that Ariana had been experiencing unpleasant things, my heart was immediately filled.  

"You can't be so prejudiced, I don't think of you that way. I didn't even say anything."

"From the beginning, I always thought that you were different from them, Clarissa."

"I am destined to be different from most humans in general."

Ariana laughed softly. "I'll continue my story."

"Good."

"After a long time I became a victim of bullying, there was one day where I really wanted to end myself because I was unable to face all the torture that existed. And when I wanted to commit suicide, I met him. Well, he's the one who's currently inside my body.  The first time, I saw it from the reflection of a mirror that was not far from me. Thinking it was a ghost, I immediately ran away as fast as lightning. Are you still there Clarissa? Don't you sleep, huh?!

"I'm still here. Well, even if you're right, I'm pretty sleepy right now, I'll keep hearing your story to the end" I said solemnly.

"alright. I guess after running, I won't meet that shadow again. But unfortunately, fate says something else. The shadow was always following me, he even appeared everywhere. Whether it's when I look in the mirror, drink water, eat, he always shows up. The problem is that he is like me. Any human being when looking at his reflection in the mirror, in the water, or in any object that can reflect the shadow, moving out of conformity with his original body, will definitely feel fear. Moreover, plus the shadow can talk and always invite to interact.  Be, the fear is growing."

Ariana sounded a long sigh. "I'll tell you the climax. Having gotten used to it, I ended up not being afraid of the shadow anymore. Wednesday, at four in the afternoon, I was again attacked by bullies who had been bullying me. They make me drink urine."

"What?!" my peek. "Is he really human? Why are they doing such a thing? And again, why don't you refuse?

There was a pain that stuck in my heart when Ariana told me her story. I can't imagine being him for even a moment. I certainly won't be able to survive. 

"At first, I didn't know that the water I was drinking was urine. After they told me, I was definitely angry. However, instead of getting something good, I ended up being battered. They beat me blindly until I passed out."

"What the fu! Right now, I'm really angry.  Tell me, what name is it that makes you suffer?  Even if I'm not as strong as Aldora, or as sadistic as Rana if I get angry again, I'll try to teach her a lesson." I said fieryly.

"Haha ... " Ariana laughed.

"You why? Is there something funny about my words?"

"No, kok. Just for the first time I heard a Clarissa cursing at someone like this. Usually, you are always so cute. Just like Aldora" he said.

Oops! It seems to be true what Ariana said. For the first time I've cursed someone in my entire life. This may also be the influence of my two best friends who sometimes do not hesitate to talk rudely. But they are not bad kids. Cuman, they will curse, if only someone upset him.

"When I woke up, I was suddenly in this world. And then finally, the shadow appeared. At first, I did not remember anything about the incident I had just experienced. However, that shadow, helped to retrieve the memories that had been wasted in my brain. After my memories returned, the anger began to appear. The shadow offered me to exchange bodies, with the aim that no more people would dare to bully me. Because at that moment my heart was filled with wrath, I finally agreed. And well, as you can see now, I'm locked up here. And that shadow does things beyond my expectations."

"Well, I always felt that there was a black aura that was always following your body. I also get scared when I get close, look at you, or even interact with you."

Finally, I found out the reason why I was always scared when I was near Ariana. But my question now is, what kind of shadow is that? Is he some kind of jinn or some other creature?

"Aldora must hate me so much" Ariana said suddenly.

"I always felt Aldora didn't like me. Despite being in this shadow realm, I can still see all the activities that exist in the human world," Ariana fell silent. " Well, I saw all. Including all those incidents," he said again.

"What incident?" my many.

"Ariana? Arianna? Are you still there?"

Why did Ariana's voice just disappear? 

Something must be wrong with all this.

I can't hear Ariana's voice anymore.

My head is starting to feel dizzy.

A voice came from behind my back. 

I stood up, then tried to turn my head towards the source of the voice.

When I turned around, I saw a very bright light. Because of his bright horn, I had to close my eyes using both of my hands.

Slowly the light began to dim, and I vaguely saw the figure of Arnold and Bina who was now right in front of me.

"Arnold's? Build? What are you guys doing here?"

"We came looking for you, Icha," said Bina.

"Why do you know I'm in this place?"

"Actually, I don't know where you are either Icha. I'm looking for you there, come here but you don't meet. Then suddenly Bina showed up and took me to this place" Arnold said.

"Build?" my many.

"I'll explain it next time. For now, I'll help you meet Ariana" Bina said with a serious look.

"But-"

"Icha, save all your questions when we've left this place and come back."

I just nodded. 

I've never seen Bina this serious.

"I'm going to turn into my true figure. You guys back off a little bit" pinta Bina.

Turned into a real person? Whatdoes thatmean? Is Bina actually not just a ghost waiting for an ordinary school?

Arnold suddenly clasped my hand tightly, "Icha, it looks like Bina is a god."
