Al opened the trunk door of the car. As soon as he saw what was about to be taken from inside there, he immediately scratched his head. Never before had he thought of bringing flowers and food to a sick woman.
Al amused himself.
Well, let's just say he's visiting Rene.
Or Boris.
Or Aseng.
Shortly after, Al woke up. He immediately rubbed his head.
He had just equated Isyana's position with his friends. It seems, there is indeed no hope for Al when it comes to relationships with women.
'Yes yes, just walk first, ' Inner Al, self-reinforcing. He immediately picked up a food box filled with fish porridge and a bouquet of flowers, then walked into the tall building in front of him.
Al was impressed. Isyana turns out to be an independent woman who is able to live in an apartment building as good as this. Especially if he rented with his own money, Al would be even more amazed!
He also walked to the apartment unit with the number mentioned by Isyana. As soon as he arrived at the door, he immediately pressed the bell button.
"Yes, for a moment" replied Isyana, in a very raucous voice. It was clear that he was not just having a migraine. The pain must be more than that!
Not long to wait, the door opened. Isyana appeared with a deathly pale face.
"Is, why aren't you?" al asked, as the face of the woman before him looked as white as paper.
Isyana was just about to answer Al's question, but something crawled out of her throat. He immediately shut his mouth and ran into the bathroom, leaving Al standing in the doorway awkwardly.
"Aaaaal, sorry!" isyana exclaimed, from inside the bathroom. Furthermore, Al could only hear the sound of vomiting inside there.
"It's okay. Take your time" replied Al.
He waited for a few moments at the door. However, Isyana did not come out of the bathroom. Finally, Al chooses to enter Isyana's apartment. He actually avoids the risk of being seen by several other apartment residents. Who knows if anyone knows his family and divulges this secret.
It's nothing at all.
He was just afraid of getting married to his father right now. Because his father was a person who did not like to let go of any opportunity! Including proving to the world that his son is normal.
"Al, it's gonna be a minute..." Isyana called again from inside the bathroom.
"No problem, Is. Relax," said Al, while putting the porridge box and bouquet of flowers that he brought, on the table of the apartment living room. He sat there waiting, quietly.
He took his smart phone. As usual, open Netflix and continue watching a series that has not been completed.
When the series began, he could see the clock in the corner of the smart phone. He was already half an hour late to the office, but no one was looking for him at all.
'Suppose you're on leave, ' Inner Al on yourself.
As a man who loved his job very much, Al was not used to relaxing like this. He often cashed his cut from the office. The personnel department had even required him to take a leave of absence, because the father was worried about Al's workaholic nature.
"Cerus Papa still believes more with the kunyuk Yuda to take care of the company," Al grumbled, still not accepted by the father's decision.
Suddenly the bathroom door opened.
Al immediately locked his own mouth if he did not want Isyana to think he was crazy.
The woman seemed to be walking towards Al while holding her stomach. Al was confused whether to help Isyana or not. Finally, he decided to just sit in his place.
"I'm sorry, Al, I was sick like this when you had a reservation at Altitude" Isyana said.
"It's okay, Is. Health is more important. Here, eat the porridge first." Al handed him the porridge box he was carrying.
"Thank you, yeah."
Al just nodded.
Ishana enjoyed her lunch in silence. His stomach was too sore, his tongue too bitter, and his head was too dizzy to be able to chat merrily with Al.
"Aren't you going to the doctor, Is it? I can anterine."
"So already chat with the doctor from the Halodoc application. I also take prescribed medication. Should be healed again."
"You sure?"
Isyana nodded.
"OK on." Al finally gave up.
He waited in silence until Isyana finished the porridge until the toilet to the bottom of the box.
"I'm sorry, take care of you, Al. You have to come here."
"It's okay, Is. But you don't want to call your parents? Or a brother or a temen to take care of you?"
Suddenly a flash of sadness emanated in Isyana's eyes. The parents? He doesn't even know where his father and mother are at the moment. Maybe they are busy with their respective lovers. While friends? Well, Isyana only has friends hurrah, friends drinking. Never had a real friend.
And Al can catch all that.
That Ishanna had no one but herself.
"I'm used to living independently, Al. I told you to come, because you really can't afford lunch anymore" said Isyana, smiling.
"It's nice to help" replied Al, as it were. Because he was confused what to say in a situation like this.
Silence was created after that.
Al actually really wanted to raise the topic of his intentions and goals to come to this place, but he did not have the heart anymore. While Isyana herself, already looked very tired. However, it still seemed bad to have to drive away Al who had already bothered to bring him lunch.
"If so, you rest first" said Al, at last. He relented. The timing is not right. Where could he bring up his own interests when Isyana was sick like this.
"Would you like to go home? Very cute." Isyana felt guilty. Does any of his attitude suggest that he wants to expel Al as soon as possible?
"Yes. You must rest, Is," said Al, firmly.
Isyana looked at the two eyeballs. The eyes of the man who seemed to be able to give a grip to himself, a backrest for his soul that continuously wandered without knowing the direction.
"If so, I'll go home." Al got up, then walked towards
So did Isyana. He reflexes follow. And subconsciously, his hand grabbed a little Al shirt at the waist. Al stopped, then looked.
"If I'm still sick, can I call you again?" ask Isyana. He could not hide even the slightest look of hope.
And Al was stunned. It was as if he could see a very lonely soul behind those eyes. And a feeling of empathy also rose in his heart.
"Can." Finally he answered briefly.
Isyana took off her grip from Al's shirt.
"See you later, if so." Isyana smiles.
Al nodded. Then, close the door of Isyana's apartment. He also walked leaving her.
Ah, her mission to get a boyfriend for a day did not go smoothly. Should he find another way? Or just anyone else?
However, Al could not think of a single name to invite.
