16. Brian's orders

"Do you have nowhere else to take Silvi?" Brian opened the conversation.

Brian sits on the sofa on the 12th floor of Ranita's organization office accompanied by Alando. Alando is back in his shirt after Silvi's departure.

"I feel this place is the most appropriate. This room records everything we do."

"Of course, besides the bathroom." Brian added and Alando nodded.

"What would happen if you took Silvi in an unrecorded place?"

"I probably don't need a prankster in the bathroom." Alando smiled mockingly at being aimed at himself.

"Goodoo. You can hold it. Silvi is still a high school boy. Yep. Although in 2 weeks he'll be in final exams and pass".

"Aren't you going to officially introduce me and Silvi?."

"certain. After Silvi's final exams are over."

Alando frowned indicating dissatisfaction with Brian's answer.

"When did you know Silvi was my daughter?"

"Since I saw Rabella protecting her in the restaurant."

"Hm. Of course, the person who knows Rabella's true position will instantly know who Silvi is. Aren't I being too flashy?"

"Yes. Without you introducing me, the occupants of the 10th floor would know that Silvi is your daughter."

The 10th floor of Ranita's office is the room of 11 people who influence the growth of this organization. One of the occupants of the 10th floor is Jonat Dominic who is Rabella's father and of course Brian. While Alando is a freelance member who considers the 12th floor as his personal space.

"You already know Silvi is my daughter. So, please take care of him for me later."

"I'm sure you can take care of it yourself."

"I mean later. NAN.TY." Brian pressed the word LATER on his sentence. "After I can't protect her anymore. Just like you don't understand. I even have to repeat my words."

Alando stared at Brian for a long time.

"You haven't told Silvi?"

"Hm."

Both of them realized the direction of this conversation. Brian then changed the subject because he felt uncomfortable.

"So, did Silvi see the contents of the glass room?"

"No." Alando recalled the contents of the glass room that kept answering questions that were not even addressed to him. "Why don't you turn it off?"

"I want to see the battery life."

"I turned it off."

"I'll reset it."

The two fell silent and Alando chuckled.

"Why are you laughing?" Brian looked at Alando confused.

"Silvi thinks she's my woman. Haha."

"She's my woman." Brian Protests.

"certain. Now maybe Silvi will think she's your woman."

Brian scratched his non-itchy head. Thinking of the reason he had to choose to convince Silvi was not easy.

The two then talked about the process of selling auction paintings and treasure maps that they would transact later.

Brian entered his house with a tired face. The clock shows at 9 a.m. After taking a shower, Brian lay comfortably in his bed. Brian thought about many things until the knock on his bedroom door blew his daydream.

Silvi stuck out her head with a grim face. Brian chuckled softly in response to Silvi's kokonyolan. Silsi often does this from first sleeping separately with her parents. Silvi does this when she feels she may be interfering with her father's pleasure.

Silvi just stepped in after Brian spread out his hand. Silvi hugged her father tightly.

"What don't you understand?"

Brian understood what Silvi meant was the contents of the glass room.

"He's a woman's father."

"Huh?"

Silvi looked long into her father's eyes and could see the earnestness in those eyes. Silvi smiled gently and replied a relieved smile by Brian.

"Dad arranged your training. After your exams are over, you should practice martial arts."

"Dad. I told you I don't have talent in that field." Silvi lazy.

"You will learn and your talent will grow by itself."

"This father. I really don't like doing it. You know, I'm not gonna do anything I don't like."

"You have to do it for your father and your late mother."

Silvi looked at her father in disbelief. This is the first time Brian has forced her to do something she doesn't like. In the past, Brian once offered Silvi for martial arts training. Because Silvi resolutely refused, Brian did not force Silvi.

Brian is back to talking about this. Moreover, Brian brought his late wife who indicated that Silvi was obliged to follow this order.

Silvi could only look at her father with teary eyes. It's the first time Brian's snapping at him. Silvi tried hard to hold back her tears. Silvi slowly backed away to make some distance from her father and stepped out of Brian's room.

"Sorry Silvi. But I can't protect you forever." Said Brian when Silvi's back was out of sight.
