By late afternoon, Jef and Jessy return to the mansion without Mercia of course.
"If Aunty asks, I hope you can explain yourself, Jef." Jessy got out of the man's car. He was really upset at Jef for giving up too soon to look for Mercia. Though he was very sure if Jef had just kept contacting Mercia, the girl would have collapsed and Mercia could have gotten back together.
There was clearly anxiety on the girl's face for fear of something bad happening to Mercia.
"You've come home already." Welcome Queen when she sees her son and friend coming home. However, he looked wry because he did not see Mercia. "Jef, where's Mercia?"
Jessy looked at Jef confused as to what to answer. Then Jef answered. "We lost track of him, Mom. He's gone."
"What?" Queen was shocked half to death. "Don't joke, Jef. Mercia doesn't know the area here. Oh God! What if he meets a bad guy?"
"He's an adult, Mom. If he gets lost, he'll definitely call us. But since then he hasn't contacted us, even ignoring my calls. He's too cocky." Reply Jef casually for being so sure Mercia is fine.
Aggressive woman how could anyone kidnap? The kidnapper must have thought twice. Inner Jef.
"Let me look for her." Said King who immediately rushed away. Before that he had a disappointed look at his nephew. But Jef tried to relax, even though from the bottom of his heart the deepest enough to feel guilty.
Queen looked at her son. "You can't be held accountable, Jef. Mercia is a girl. Plus he doesn't know the area either. My God, how can you be this relaxed?"
Jessy looked down because she felt guilty. "I'm sorry, Aunty."
Jef sighed. "Come, Jes. No need to apologize. It's not our fault entirely. He'll definitely be back. He's not as stupid as you think."
"Jef." Jessy warned and disagreed with Jef's words.
Queen could not speak anymore with her son's attitude. Then he went away from there. Wanted to make sure Mercia was okay by contacting her.
Elsewhere, in a bookstore. Mercia looks relaxed reading a romance novel provided free for the visitors. He's been there for almost two hours. Before going to this bookstore, Mercia had a chance to walk around the Capital. He also stopped by the mall to wash his eyes without intending to buy anything. And the last he stopped at this place, whose existence is not far from the previous mall.
He was so cool that he forgot to tell the house people. Not long after his phone shook and managed to attract his attention. He clucked up thinking it was Jef who contacted him. Quickly he pulled out his phone and saw the caller. It turned out to be an unknown number. The girl's forehead shriveled in confusion. "Who is this? Is it possible Jessy?"
Then, with a little hesitation he received a call. "Hallo?"
"Where's your position?" Ask the man with a heavy voice. Mercia was shocked and kept the phone away from the ears.
"Mercia! You hear me?"
Hearing that he put his phone back in his ear. "Yes. You're who?"
There was a sound of annoyance across there. "Where's your position?"
Mercia tried to recall the voice, a voice that was not so foreign. "Omm? Is that you?"
"Yes. Again I asked, where is your position?" King was upset.
"I'm at the bookstore." Reply Mercia casually.
"The name of the shop?"
"Em.. bookshop near City Center, I didn't get to see the name of the store." Mercia answered immediately because it was too serious to read a novel that was quite exciting.
King also decided on a unilateral call. And that made Mercia shocked. "Ish, it's not very clear this is Om, just play matainin." His grunts put his phone again on the table.
In just a matter of minutes, King managed to find the whereabouts of the girl. "What are you doing here huh?"
Mercia immediately looked over. "What Om doesn't see? I'm reading." He showed the book he was reading to King.
King snorted small. "Do you know everyone's worried about you?"
"Everyone? What does that jerk include? I don't think so. It's like he'll see me disappear from the face of this earth." The cynic.
King looked at the girl as if in disbelief. "My brother is very worried about you. At least you're telling the house people not to worry."
Mercia glanced at the man a glance. "Sorry, I don't know if Aunty's that hot."
King took a breath. "Let's go home." He wants to pull Mercia. But the girl held him back. "Not yet complete know Om read it, bit again nanggung."
King clucked. "Buy the book."
Mercia's face sparkled. "So you want to buy it? Seriously?"
King rolled his eyes puffed. "Yes, spiel."
Mercia chose some books that she found interesting, then rose from her place excitedly. The king who saw that could only shake his head.
"Come to the cashier, let them find the book." Invite Mercia to pull the King without the slightest hesitation. King just resigned and followed the wishes of the girl.
"Sis, would you like to find a similar book, please?" Pinta King upon arrival at the cashier. Mercia gave the man an example of his book.
"Please wait?"
Mercia nodded along with a sweet smile.
After paying, the two of them left the place. And hurry to go home.
"Thank you, Om. It's good." Mercia said as they got into the car. The girl continued to develop a smile as she looked at the few novels she had just bought.
"Yes, you're welcome." King replied, who then drove his car. "Have you eaten?"
Mercia. "Not yet."
King raised his eyebrows. "From noon?"
"That's not eating his name. Isn't she hungry?" Ask King in wonder.
"Hungry anyway, only I like to forget to eat if I have read a novel. It was really good story, plot twisnya make dag dig dug ser. How many books have I read? Oh yeah, like four books." Ocehnya at length. King did not ask that.
"Hm." Sahut King was confused what to respond.
Mercia looked at King fixedly. "Where do I get my number?"
"My brother." King replied briefly.
"Oh. Kirain Om stalking me again." The girl chuckled to herself.
"There's no such thing as a job of me stalking you." King smiled faintly.
"Well you know secretly Om has a crush on me."
King laughed when he heard it. "I like your confidence."
Mercia also laughed, somehow he always felt comfortable when talking to King. Sometimes the man gets upset. "I love talking to you too. Kayak is that. Same as Jef who's like a dry canoebo."
"Oh yeah?"
"Yes, Abis Om is handsome. Still not arrogant, even though sometimes judes too." Mercia chuckled again while closing her mouth.
"What do I judge?"
"Sometimes, it used to be the first time we met Om ngeselin really. How I like to do it again. But it's pretty cool now." Mercia answered so honestly. "This morning it was cold as me."
King was surprised to hear it, then suddenly he remembered the incident last night. "I have many more thoughts."
"Oh, pantesans. Must be tired of being CEO at some company?"
"Lumayan." King smiled, then turned his car into a restaurant. "We'll eat first." Mercia also nodded obediently.
Very understanding of Om. Lucky to be his wife. Who is that lucky girl? Can I not if I sign up? Mercia thought of smiling to herself while stealing a glance at the handsome man next to her.
The king who saw that was confused. "Why smile? Let's get down."
"Eh, come on." Mercia was embarrassed to be caught. Then he quickly got out of the car.
Duh, put you to shame, Cia. The grunt in the heart. Then he followed the King who first went inside.
King chose a seating capacity of two people, and rather a corner. Then they ordered food.
King looked at Mercia who was watching around. "Other times don't wander around alone, you don't know where the dangerous areas are yet."
Mercia also focused her attention on King. "What's the danger, Om? What is that pickpocket? Cook the hell in developed countries there are pickpockets." He also laughed amusedly.
King took a breath. "Although developed countries, do not rule out the possibility of rampant crime, pepper. Even the crimes here are worse than pickpockets. The pickpocket here is more modern. What else is your face foreign to the people here." Evidently.
Mercia is also mangosteen. "Yes, I promise I will never run out on my own again. Unless Om wants to take me around, hehehe."
"Come, if I'm not busy anymore." Replied King who again managed to make Mercia his art.
"What is it, Om? Watch out if it's a lie, I'm charging the promise."
"Yes, you can hold my words."
"OK." Mercia smiled, but a second later her face turned clear. "Om, stop dong Manggila I Pepper. I'm not a kitchen spice."
King smiled amusedly when he saw Mercia's lips advancing a few inches. "When I can't promise. Unless you want to be called by another name."
Mercia looked at the confused King. "other names? What do you want to call me, huh? Don't say weird names anymore."
King smiled. "Forgive that."
Not long after their order arrived. They both ate quietly without a word. After that they moved back to go home.
Arriving at home, the two were immediately greeted by the Queen who was waiting for their return. "Cia, my goodness. Aunty's really worried about it?"
"Sorry, Aunty. I have no intention of making you all anxious. Next time I won't be back." Mercia said sincerely.
Queen smile. "Yes, honey. Aunty just doesn't want you to do anything."
Mercia nodded. "Yes, I'll go to the room first. It's tired of walking."
Queen nodded, and Mercia went to her room. However, he had crossed paths with Jef before. Being still upset with that person, he just ignored her.
Jef looked at the girl's back meaningfully.
"This time you've made a big mistake, Jef. Don't blame me if he's really turning away." Said the King who then passed by stepping away.
Jef smiled wryly. "Since the beginning I have lost, Uncle. Then what do I need to do again huh? From a long time ago you always stole his attention from me."
King held back his steps when he heard that, then without looking he replied. "Blame yourself for over-valuing the ego. You should know one thing too. Only cowardly men give up before war."
Jef tightened his jaw, King's words managed to slap him.
"Oh yes, in the future let's compete in a healthy way. Don't be a coward, Jef." After saying that, King left Jef who was still frozen in his place.
Seriate....
