Chapter 64's

...🦋 HAPPY READING 🦋...

Castela could feel her body being shaken. He tried to open his eyes that felt heavy on top of his head that hurt. Both Netraya glared sharply when he realized that he was currently being kidnapped.

Currently he is in a horse carriage with both hands tied and his mouth covered with cloth. His current appearance was really very messy. The white clothes he was wearing were filled with blood.

In the corner of this horse-drawn carriage he could see Ema, his faithful servant who was curled up unconscious. Castela dragged her body so that it could get closer towards Ema. A drop of Castela's tears fell upon seeing how pitiful Ema's current appearance was.

His cheek that was in a bruised slap with a torn wound on the corner of his lips. Not to mention his torn arm for trying to protect his two sons.

Castela was really angry. This abomination had truly made him extremely fed up. He was just a lost soul, why would he have to experience this frightening thing?

Suddenly the horse carriage they were riding shook, causing Castela to crash into the wall of the horse carriage. Castela could hear the sound of iron clashing against each other.

"You take care of this woman! The rest come with me against that stupid soldier!" Said one of them that Castela could still hear from inside.

Castela tried to get up, ignoring the pain all over her body. He tried to find a gap in this horse-drawn carriage, but he could not find it. The train has only one door without windows.

Castela was not out of sense. He took a hairpick on Ema's head and stuck it on the back wall of this horse-drawn carriage. Fortunately, this horse carrot is made of boards and is very simple, so Castela's efforts are not in vain. He had to open his wounded hand.

The sound of the clinking of the swords clashing against each other was getting fiercer. Castela lowered her body to see the conditions outside.

He could see if they were currently in a forest. Castela did not know what this forest was because the SEATHLAND kingdom had a lot of forested areas. In addition to the sky outside that has darkened, indicating that the time is already night.

Castela gasped when she saw a man she knew so well lying on the ground. His face was battered and his body was full of incisions and sword-eye stabs. Castella's tears fell again.

Castela screamed for the man's name, but not a single voice made it out. Made himself repeatedly bang his head against the wall of the horse carriage.

The man who had almost met his end heard the voice. Their eyes are clashing with each other. Castela felt increasingly claustrophobic when she saw the man smiling and shaking his head as if to say that everything was fine. If everything that happened wasn't his fault.

Those bandits were really treating their victims very brutally. While the other man, already looks unconscious with conditions that are not much different. He is Abigail, the shadow knight of Castela.

The bandits returned on their horse-drawn carriages and horses. Leaving behind the two men who had looked terrible there. Before they actually left, Castela was able to catch what the man said.

"I, love you Ela,"

Castela rushes to the floor of the horse-drawn carriage. Wh why? Why would they all have to sacrifice their lives for her completely worthless self?

Should have let himself die! He was just a lost soul, coming from the middle of nowhere. Even though half of his soul did come from this place.

"Thank you Brian, I really owe you and Marquis Steven too much. Remind me that someday I will be able to pay my debts" Castela said

"You can pay with one thing El,"

Castela looked up, looking at Brian right in the manic eye.

"With what?" ask Castela curiously.

"Stay alive to raise your child with the smile you've always shown." said Brian and gently rubbed Castela's head.

"You're joking Brian, you don't have to tell me I'm going to do it with all my heart. I will not fear Brian's death, because I'm sure that you and Steven will always protect me and my son" Castela said with a sweet smile.

"El, can you promise me one thing?" asked Brian with a serious look.

"Promise? you're asking me to promise you what Brian is?" Castela asked still with a smile on her lips.

Brian stared fixedly at the emerald green bead that managed to make him crazy about it. Before finally saying a sentence that was able to make Castela speechless and stiffened in place.

"Please promise not to blame yourself for what will happen. Promise El, if I'm in a difficult time and get killed when you can't do anything to save me, then promise El, promise me, promise me,don't blame yourself for what happens in the future."

Castela was sobbing, really so bitter. But all his voice was muffled because of the damn cloth that covered his mouth.

How could? how can he keep his promise if he is not sure he can save himself.

Brian really never played around with his words. What he said all this time he would do. Castela even remembered how the sweet smile Brian gave just to calm her very nervous defeat.

'Why? why brian? why do you have to make a promise that I don't want to hear at all?! I'm just asking you to protect my kids, why? why do you have to break that promise just to fulfill your promise to protect me? why brian!'

Castela really looks very sad. Is God too cruel to test it? living in a time like this is terrible. Human life has no price.

They're all cruel! they all have no heart! they separate the child from his parents. Separating lovers from those they love. Separating a friend from another friend. They were cruel, and Castela hated this cruelty so much.

'I will kill anyone involved in the cruel events I am currently experiencing! I promise, I will avenge every drop of blood and tear wasted at this time! I promise, I will avenge every pain and wound I receive. I promise, not as Castela Ardeland, but as ANESYA SEPTIAN!'

Castela fell back into the darkness that took away her consciousness. Without realizing it, if the promise he said is not a mere motivational words. But a speech that will eventually really happen.

All the dreams he felt while occupying the body of a Castela, as well as all that he had foreseen. It won't be missed one bit. That war will happen soon, not now, but it will happen.
