"Van, omelette!" Melly half ran up to her daughter who was standing in front of the stove with a frying pan that was billowing thick smoke.
"You daydreaming?" ask her, then put out the fire.
Vania took two steps back while staring at the blackened food she had cooked.
"You have a problem?" Melly asked back.
"Ng ...
"Be careful Van, don't daydream, it could be dangerous!" said the woman.
Vania shook her head to drive the man's shadow away from her head, as it seemed she was starting to get carried away.
"I made another mother." she said.
"No, I want to go now. If you want to make it for yourself." Sergey Melly.
"Mom's leaving?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"Where?"
"You meet people."
"Where?"
"In the cafe."
"Faraway train, I was gonna drop off. Or are you going to go together?" tawar Vania's.
"Are you going now? isn't your shop open for the day?" Melly asked.
"Go now, I'm home alone."
"All right then."
***
Vania was thinking about how to talk to her mother. Because this should not be allowed to drag on, or the fate of his love will run aground at that time.
"Mom?"
"Yes?"
"Can't I choose?" he started a conversation.
"What about?"
"On the soul mate."
Melly frowned.
"You want to break your promise to me?"
Vania fell silent, again it became her consideration.
"Can't we do anything else for this?"
"What thing?"
"I don't know, but can I choose not to accept this match?"
Melly thought.
"Look at me, my dad used to say I should marry his friend's son if he wasn't married either."
"Yes, it does."
"What if for example he already has a partner, and they have a serious plan? does this have to be done?"
"What do you want to talk about? you don't want to accept this match?"
"I'm confused." Vania answered.
"What makes you confused? didn't you promise me that? you want to break that promise?"
"It's not that I want to break a promise, but .. I've been waiting for years, but no one's coming. And now, when I have my own plan, I'm talking about this, as if the match will continue."
"Yes, this is why I want to meet the guy. Are you coming too?"
"What's? now?"
"Yes. Let it all be clear, and we'll plan things."
"Can't I just refuse?"
"If it wasn't a promise before my father died, I would let you choose whatever you want. But unfortunately this is your father's will, and I dare not violate it. Besides disappointment, I'm afraid this will be a problem later on." Melly explained.
"So, .. Can't I refuse?"
"Unfortunately it is."
Vania held her breath as her chest felt tight.
"But .. I already have, ...
"Don't you think the guy came?" Melly pointed at the car that was parked in her cafe yard.
Vania swallowed her saliva with great difficulty.
"Would you like to see him now, before you meet his son later?" ask the mother.
"Eee .. I can't, today a lot of orders." Vania reasoned to avoid.
"Oh, yes I have. I'll let you know after this, okay?" he said when the car stopped in front of the cafe.
"Hm ..." Vania just muttered, then immediately left.

"Mom Kania has come sir." Cindy handed over some of the drawing tools Arya had ordered to her.
His assistant nodded his head.
"Yes, tell me to come in. Will go together to the location as well."
"Well sir." said Cindy, but she didn't leave immediately. Even staring at him was fixed with his thought that guessing. His face even suddenly reddened as he recalled the incident a few days earlier between the man and the lunch-delivery girl for their clerk.
"Why you?" Arya reacted as she felt her assistant paying attention.
"Ng .. No sir, it's okay." Cindy was misbehaving, but she was curious.
"Yes, did you call Kania?" aryan Letters.
"Good sir." the woman passed.
***
Vania re-entered the building as usual, after handing over the food she brought to the office boy on duty.
"Sir Arya is there?" ask Cindy when they meet in the lobby.
"There's."
"At least busy?"
"Lumayan, it looks like he just finished receiving guests." replied Cindy.
"Guests?"
Cindy nodded.
"Is anything important?" she asked.
Vania was silent, but then turned her head when her tail caught the movement of a familiar figure.
"Did you?" he tried to say hello.
"Hey? delivering food?" Arya answered her greeting.
Vania nodded her head.
"Alright, .. "the man was silent for a moment. "I'm leaving first, Cindy. Maybe come back later in the afternoon" he told the assistant.
"Good Sir." Cindy nodded.
"Go ahead." Arya turned to Vania who seemed to be waiting.
"Go?"
"Yes. There's work outside."
"Feed?" Vania nailed the totebag she held tightly to contain lunch for the man.
"Keep first, maybe later in the afternoon you eat" said Arya, who immediately followed the woman who had reached the courtyard of the building.
Vania was stunned to see the man enter her car, after letting the woman with him enter the vehicle first.
"I'm saying goodbye, brother." she told Cindy, then left.
Vania drives a car intending to return to her tavern. But in the middle of the journey the traffic lights turned red, and all the vehicles around him also stopped, he was forced to stop the two, even though the store was only a few blocks from where it is now.
A car that was familiar to him also stopped right on the left. He looked back when he recognized the vehicle.
His eyes were rounded, and he was slightly stunned to find Arya behind the wheel, who looked to be laughing.
Laughter was crisp, and the man seemed to be talking.
Vania opened the glass on the left, intending to greet him, but then she parried it when she saw another figure in the passenger seat.
A woman he saw with Arya in the building.
Vania fell silent, staring at the two people in the car who were chatting cheerfully, and Arya who was unaware of her whereabouts.
Then he woke up when he heard the sound of a horn in the back, as the traffic light turned green and the vehicle in front started moving.
His mind was empty, but he was curious. Seeing the interaction he never witnessed, between Arya and a woman other than himself.
Isn't this suspicious?
Who is that geezer?
Why are they together?
Should he be indifferent and like there is no burden when deciding to give me time?
He monologues, and without a second thought the girl decides to follow Arya's car.
***
He stopped in the parking lot of a restaurant, choosing the last place to hide from the two people in his stalk, who had come down a few moments earlier.
"They eat?" echoes.
Should he refuse the food I brought? his gerrick.
"Are they dating?"
Aaa ... my thoughts!
Can adult men quickly move around the heart?
He continued to mutter, when coincidentally Arya with the woman was sitting on the outside of the restaurant which could be clearly seen from the parking area.
Vania continued to grumble, and she grumbled. Instantly forgets his immortality, and is replaced by the resentment that now fills his heart.
Of course, seeing a man who had only been her lover for a few weeks, sitting alone with a woman she did not know. Enough to frustrate him. Especially because currently their relationship is being interrupted because of something.
Ah, .. Maybe this is not what you think, Vania!
Maybe they are just friends, or co-workers.
Yes, friends who eat together at restaurants during break time.
Friends who talk familiar to laugh, even though if you are with you he is not like that.
What friend?
He kept grumbling.
