A Love That Will Not Change

The early morning sun was hiding behind the dark clouds. Though it still looks bright and blue sky looks clean without a trace of clouds. Sophia and Mateo were shopping at a convenience store but the concept of a traditional market. Sophia is always diligent shopping because she always tries to faithfully prepare her own processed food in her kitchen. This time Sophia invited Mateo at once so that the two of them would spend more time together.

Sophia was so painstaking in choosing fresh and healthy food ingredients that would be processed by herself. Cleaner, healthier and certainly more delicious. Mateo also faithfully accompanied the mother and paid close attention to anything that had entered their shopping cart. After feeling the contents of the basket are enough and the necessary materials are complete they go to the cashier to make the payment. The checkout table is lined up by several customers who have also finished shopping. Sophia and Mateo were waiting for their turn.

Mateo's eyes accidentally caught the figure of a woman he knew well enough. The woman turns out to be Maya, her birth mother. Incidentally, Maya was also in that place. Hearing the scathing comments from the people who were there, Maya chose to leave Sophia and Mateo.

" Mama! call Mateo. " Mommy need not worry, Mateo promises to always protect Mama until anytime.! Mateo spoke like an adult boy who was considerate with his mother. Sophia was moved to hear Mateo's words. That little boy already had thoughts like an adult.

And it was inevitable that Sophia's legs were scratched by the wheels of the motor. While their driver who just got into the car was about to turn on the vehicle can not do anything. Wanting to act was too late.

Sophia also tried to endure the pain lest Mateo see her in pain. Because the kid will be worried. After doing the action the motor drove so fast that with lightning quickly disappeared from view.

" Mateo is fine Ma.! mateo replied so that Sophia did not feel worried anymore. The pain in his leg began to feel. Hot and pulsating. Then their private driver who had only seen the incident immediately contacted Stephen without Sophia's knowledge.

When Sophia heard the driver talking to her husband on the phone, Sophia stopped him.

But it was too late to stop him. Stephen listened to their conversation. Soon Sophia and Mateo arrived home. Their driver immediately helped Sophia lift the grocery bag and brought it to the kitchen. Sophia and Mateo walked together towards the living room. Just as they were sitting down, Stephen appeared in a hurry. His breathing was breathless as if he had run away earlier.

" Dear, are you all right? What the hell is going on! asked Stephen with an irregular breath.

Sophia calmed her husband down first.

" Mad, sit down first. Breathe in to calm down.!

" How can you be calm if something happens to you.! his words are still with anxiety.

" We're fine. Look at us nothing happened! Sophia continued to calm her husband.

" Dad, there was someone who wanted to hit Mama! mateo said spontaneously and Sophia no longer had time to forbid her child to speak.

" What, you guys want to get hit? But you guys are okay. No injuries or abrasions, right? he said he was more worried after hearing Mateo's words.

" It's okay, Mas. We're doing just fine. Nothing happened. Really deh. See for yourself, we are fine.! sophia is still trying to cover it up.

Stephen hugged both of them. It was quite nice to see both of them turned out to be okay.

" I promise I won't let anyone harm you. I promise I will always protect you! stephen's Promise. Of course his heart was very anxious and worried if something bad happened to his wife and son. Because they are his love and life. How could he possibly allow his loved ones to suffer because of others.?

Sophia, touched and moved, became more and more convinced of her husband's love. Even though her legs are still painful and sore, she still looks strong and even smiles happily.

Of course his heart was happy because the man he loved was so affectionate and considerate to him and his son. For him, happiness was enough.
