A Love That Will Not Change

Mateo was already sleeping on his bed. Until then, Stephen did not go home.

Sophia was patient and her real heart was filled with anxiety and worry still waiting faithfully.

To kill the boring time, he waited while watching his favorite drama. Although her mind was unfocused and her heart was not enjoying her favorite drama because her mind was thinking about her husband who had not come home yet.

The night was getting late, there was no way they would still enjoy dinner at the restaurant. What might be that their business talks are so urgent that they don't remember the time at all.

Sophia was still trying to ignore the negative thoughts from her mind. He put his trust in Stephen. And sure that her husband will faithfully hold that trust.

Stephen would never betray that trust. So she always reassured herself that her husband was a trustworthy man. Remembering all this time how her husband struggles to get love from her.

But still as an ordinary woman who also had a weak heart, there were times when she felt fear and anxiety.

Afraid that her husband would move to another heart. Sophia even remembered the pretty face of the girl. Sophia had never met such a beautiful woman. As a woman, Sophia loved to see her, let alone the adam.

And maybe because she was too tired to think Sophia finally fell asleep on the sofa. And at exactly 11 p.m., Stephen came home. Taking a slow step, Stephen thought Sophia was asleep so he did not want her to wake his wife.

But how surprised Stephen was to see Sophia who was asleep on the sofa. He did not think that his wife would wait for him to fall asleep.

Then he saw a dining table that was still in the field of food that would have been no longer warm. And when he saw his favorite food there his heart was moved.

There was regret in his heart at that instant. Sophia must have prepared it for herself. But he ignored his wife by not preaching at all.

Just because he indulged in sheer pleasure he accidentally hurt his wife. And to return his regret Stephen sat at the dinner table and tasted his wife's cooking even though the food was cold.

But Stephen seemed to enjoy it. eating Sophia's cuisine with greed. And Sophia woke up when she heard the sound of spoons and plates clashing.

She saw her husband eating alone enjoying his meal. Sophia soon got up and found her husband.

" I'm home, sorry I fell asleep not to hear that I'm home.! Sophia apologized when she was innocent.

Stephen who looked at his wife said,

" Don't papa dear, mas who apologized for coming home late. I also forgot to contact you! Sorry for making you wait too long!?

" No papa, this is my duty as a wife.! reply Sophia. She sat next to Stephen and accompanied him to his meal.

" The food is cold, it's not good anymore. Do not eat again .!

" It's still good, baby. I liked. Thank you for cooking my favorite food. So yummy! Praise Stephen sincerely, but also as a form of regret for making a mistake to his wife.

In her mind Sophia actually wanted to ask about what she saw earlier, yet she refrained herself from asking. She hoped that her husband himself would tell her honestly without being asked.

But in the wait and wait for her husband it seems there is no intention at all to say the events of today. If the husband is silent, he does not want to tell a story, meaning he does not want to tell a story.

Sophia would not ask. She would wait for her husband to speak for himself from within her heart. Sophia was silent and accompanied her husband to finish his dinner.

Sophia knew that her husband was full, but in order to appreciate Sophia's hard work and make up for her guilt, she was willing to spend it. And Sophia should appreciate it too. Let her husband enjoy it.

As if nothing had happened today, Stephen behaved as he always did. After finishing his evening meal, Stephen cleaned himself up before heading to his contest place to let go of the tiredness after today's work.

Sophia did not want to force her husband to tell her. So tonight Sophia must harbour her curiosity about today's events.

The night was getting late, the full moon seemed embarrassed to show himself so he chose to hide. Sophia in a raging mind was unable to immerse her eyes in her sleep. Her husband's moment with his woman continued to loom in her mind.

Although he had tried to ignore it but his little heart seemed unwilling. Something's stuck in there. Which makes his mind haunted by bad feelings.

A woman's instincts are rarely wrong. But she did not want to ask her husband directly because she was afraid that it would be a stumbling block in their marriage.

Don't let Stephen accuse himself of not trusting her anymore if he asks her directly. But if he doesn't ask and Stephen doesn't want to be frank lest it become a time bomb that will one day explode and destroy their marriage.

Sophia prayed in her heart, that the bad thoughts that appeared in her mind were only momentary and erroneous thoughts. She hopes that her husband will always keep the love and trust they have promised together.

Sophia closed her eyes again trying to get to sleep. Because her husband has been asleep since. He looked tired on his face.

And finally those eyes fell asleep too.

I don't know where his personal driver didn't come down to help him pick up his things. Even the trunk of the car he also had to open it and put groceries into it.

After everything had entered, Sophia closed the luggage door and walked into the car. Just as his hand opened the car door, his eyes involuntarily caught an unusual sight.

Stephen was walking with a woman entering a boutique not far from the supermarket where Sophia was shopping.

With curiosity Sophia followed him. She wanted to know what her husband was doing in the boutique with a woman who was not his wife.

The woman was engrossed in the gowns on display in the boutique and Stephen patiently and faithfully accompanied by her side. During their wedding Stephen took her shopping at the boutique several times. It can be counted on the fingers.

The woman was so happy and Stephen also seemed to smile happily seeing the woman happy. There was a sense of tightness in Sophia's heart seeing the sight. It felt like she immediately disappeared from the place and there was regret in her heart why she had seen the two of them and followed them up to the boutique so that she had to witness the happy moment of her husband with another woman.

But instead of disappearing, Sophia came closer and closer. And now she's dealing with her husband. Stephen who saw the appearance of Sophia was very surprised. She did not expect Sophia to be standing in front of her at this moment.

Sophia who did not speak a word just looked at her husband's face. Their eyes clashed with each other and asked each other in their hearts.

" Why are you here? Stephen asked in his mind.

" Who is that woman? What is Stephen doing with that woman? Sophia asked in her mind as well.

Then the woman approached Stephen and showed him a sexy red dress asking for Stephen's opinion.

" What do you think of this dress? Sexy no, you must be interested to see my body wearing it! said the woman in her powerful voice.

Hearing the woman's words certainly burned Sophia's heart. The woman spoke as if she were talking to her lover. It feels so tight to the chest. Looking at Stephen who did not rub her and instead looked at the other woman, the woman glanced at Sophia.

" Who are you? Ask the woman.

" I'm his wife! Sophia answered firmly

" Ouh.so you're his wife. How come? said the woman lightly.

Sophia was shocked to hear the woman's words.

Stephen did not react at all. He just fell silent. Like not the Stephen he knew.

The woman was closing herself up next to Stephen. Without hesitation he held Stephen's arm with his effective attitude.

Strangely, Stephen did not avoid it. It was like letting the woman do whatever she wanted. Sophia was further cornered in the wound in her heart.

What the hell is going on? Why did Stephen turn 360 degrees like this? Stephen was like a stranger who didn't know Sophia.

" Mad Stephen please explain, what really happened? Sophia asked who could no longer bear to see Stephen's attitude, especially the woman beside him.

Could the love between them have been lost in an instant? Why did everything happen suddenly startling like this.?

" I'm sorry, but it looks like our relationship should end here. I have found the right woman to be with me. And that woman is him.! Stephen said without feeling any guilt. It was as if all this time the love between them had no meaning at all and the relationship that had been established all this time was just a charade.

" Is that so easy!? sophia said with a sad and hurt heart.

" I fell in love with him and was convinced that he was my future. All this time I've been trying to stick with our relationship but I'm actually not happy. So I'm sorry! After saying so, Stephen took the woman away from there and left Sophia alone in her deep sorrow.

Without even turning his head Stephen walked away leaving Sophia in a wounded state of heart. Sophia was unable to endure the grief in her heart and shed tears. Sophia shouted out sadness in her heart.

" Simplified.......!!!!

Sophia woke up from her sleep. Sweat was pouring down his forehead. Breathing gasps. It turns out he was dreaming. A very bad and painful dream.

Sophia looked at her husband who was no longer beside her. There was water coming from the bathroom. Stephen is taking a shower. Sophia got up from her bed, prepared her husband's office clothes and then went down to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for them. Don't forget to check Mateo's room, see if his son is still sleeping. He also woke up and was cleaning himself in the bathroom.

The nightmare was still clearly in his mind.
