Morning's approaching. The sound of chicken coke awakens Dina's beautiful dream. Yes, the dream is beautiful, not as beautiful as the reality in front of his eyes. The snoring voice of Dina's husband was heard breaking the silence at dawn. After the prayer Dina went to the kitchen to cook. But there is only half a liter of rice without side dishes. Without much thought, Dina immediately made a porridge.
All the family members have woken up. Dina gave each of them a serving of porridge without chicken, there were only the leftover crackers yesterday bought by Dina.
"Wine is porridge?" husband Dina protested.
Dina did not answer. He didn't want to, this morning it started with a fight.
"Jawab,May. You asked the husband to be quiet, why is breakfast porridge today?I'm not sick, so don't give me porridge" Dina's husband threw a plate of porridge on the floor.
Dina was silent again. He wasn't the least bit angry or blabbering today. Her husband felt strange.
"You sick?".
Dina did not reply, she immediately cleaned up the messy porridge on the floor. Like a statue, Dina said nothing.
"Where's my rice!" her husband yelled at Dina.
Her in-laws came out of the room.
"Today breakfast porridge, kok no chicken?I want Dina's chicken!" Bu Yeni whined like a child. But not a single answer was answered by Dina. Dina was tired. No one thinks about making money to make ends meet, just asking and asking.
Mata Bu Yeni and Hari looked at her, while giving a code asking about Dina's silence. But the rock bottom, both of them keep whining about wanting something like they want.
"Dina, get me some rice and side dishes!" said Hari with a shout.
"His bury is chicken,Dina, you want the chicken, you're delicious!" said Bu Yeni.
Dina did not flinch. She kept quiet and kept feeding her two children.
Because it was not digubris, Hari pulled Dina's hand and brought Dina to the kitchen.
"Where's the rice for me, Dina?" Day asked again.
Dina like a robot, not answering, even want to go back to the front room where people gather.
Her husband long ago felt annoyed. She pulled Dina's body, stuck her back against the wall and locked Dina's neck with her left hand.
"Are you deaf, I want to eat rice," Hari looked full of emotion from not being responded to.
Dina stared intently at her husband, while saying, "look for yourself!" Dina tried to take off her husband's hand but couldn't because she lost power.
"Dina, don't try to resist," Hari returned Dina's gaze, trying to make Dina give in.
Finally Dina kept quiet again, not fighting back. His left hand seemed to be blocking his breathing. He was like a dead body. Her husband had completely changed, never once was Dina treated like this. But life changed him. Dina has also changed, no longer as happy and as before. His rebellious soul appeared as an endless sense of resentment. And because the endless finally leaves a tightness that makes him tired and can only be silent. There were no tears flowing down her cheeks.
Day stared at his beautiful wife's face filled with black spots due to lack of care. Now that face is adorned with tears of sadness. Seeing that Day was heartless, then he let go of his hand and let Dina go.
That was Dina's form of disappointment, there was no happy word for her after her responsible husband died and changed into an annoying lazy husband. Dina did not care, her husband wanted to eat the porridge or not. Otherwise, it means that today will not eat, unless he seeks for himself.
Bu Yeni who from earlier whined, ended up eating porridge without chicken with a sullen face. While wiping away the tears, Dina laughed inwardly, she was happy to see these two people not getting what they wanted. Dina wanted them to think and appreciate what was there. If you want more yes work, if not yes choose what is there. What we do is what we get.
Dina's husband did not eat, because the porridge Dina gave him was spilled. Hari felt he had to have a strategy to get money from his wife. He felt his stomach start to sound a sign of hunger. But the day patiently waited for his wife to finish washing at her neighbor's house this morning.
Rani returns to her son after wiping her tears. It was as if nothing had happened that he put a cheerful face before them.
"Abang Sama Rani, bathe first yes,"Dina with a smile brought her two children to the bathroom.
After bathing her two children, Dina put the uniform on her first child and prepared to take her to school.
"Well, how handsome!" Dina with a shocked expression, tried hard as if nothing had happened.
"Rani is also tatik!" Rani doesn't want to lose.
"Yes, Rani is also a weather beauty!" Dina full of smiles.
Dina's happiness is with her children. He was determined not to want his son to suffer the slightest and any shortcomings, even though they were all deficient.
Dina and her two children went to Kindergarten where her first child attended school.
At school, Dina meets Noni.
"Din, here!" Noni waved her hand.
Dina immediately approached Noni.
"His teacher hasn't come yet?" ask Dina.
"Yes, as soon as possible" replied Noni.
"Today the rice stayed a little, I made porridge. Mas Hari spilled the porridge on purpose, not wanting to eat the porridge. I don't talk much and maybe that's a good solution for me, let's not stress because it continues to be angry" Dina confided to her best friend.
"Every once it has to be so, do not want to be delicious, but do not want to try," Noni also annoyed.
"Non, for the manasik money, take it from my savings only yes, but don't tell me Mas Hari is my in-laws, later my money ludes. I'll tell you that money I borrowed from you."
"OK!" Noni raised her thumb.
Noni is Dina's best friend from childhood, she goes to school with him. All about the behavior of Dina's husband and mother-in-law is already known, so she also gets annoyed and advises Dina to keep some of the results of the lecture washing and finishing them in school on behalf of Noni,in order to be safe not to be disturbed by Husband Dina or her in-laws. Dina also has expectations from the savings, in addition to meeting the needs of her son, as well as for business capital. Later if Dina divorced her husband, she wanted her own business.
After taking her son to school, and leaving him to her in-laws, Dina returned to work at her neighbor's house. Every day Dina's schedule is very crowded, this morning alone washing schedule in two places and in one place again ironing. Life is hard felt by Dina, washing her own clothes is amazing cap, let alone wash other people's clothes up to twice plus ironing again, but the difference is Dina gets a wage from her job if she washes for someone else. Dina's body is not as fat as a girl, now her body is thin not taken care of. Her pretty face began to fade, as her make up was unbought. Village flowers that have withered because of less care for their owners with responsibilities and watered the waters of prosperity.
"Where's the laundry, Mom?" I asked who had a home.
"This has not been taken," the mother took a pile of dirty laundry from inside the house, which turned out to be mountainous when stored in a tub. Although it looks terrible, but Dina must face it. Dina thought, if she keeps complaining she won't get any money. With the spirit of Dina draining water to soak the dirty clothes.
Dina's husband apparently followed Dina from behind. He intends to take the money from his wife's work to buy rice.
About two and a half hours Dina was in that place. He finally finished drying the last one. Maybe the one who has a house has not washed for a week so the laundry is mountainous, seen the clothesline like a clothespile in the market, all lined up neatly.
Dina's husband was getting more agitated, because Dina never came out, next time she will wait at home to not get bored, he thought.
The first task, completed. She was paid for her hard work. Money
40 Thousand in his hands. Dina never set a price, all she left to the person who hired her. When Dina left the house, Dina was shocked because her husband had already appeared in front of her.
"Where's the money?" Day while taking the money that was in his wife's hands.
"Don't, Mas, here to buy rice," Dina took the money back from her husband's hand. There is a money struggle between Hari and Dina, and accidentally the money is split into two.
"Mas Hari, the money is torn," Dina while opening her hand with a 20 thousand piece of money. Soon Hari took the tear in Dina's hand and immediately ran away.
"Mas Day!" Dina while shouting.
