She came into the house tired. Looks like a messy house, even though this morning all has been tidied up. There was also the cry of 2-year-old son Rani Dina, crying because she wanted milk. But it did not make her husband step up to move out of bed. Instantly Dina's anger erupted like a volcano that was willing to erupt and let out hot lava.
"I'm asking for a divorce, right now!" while holding Rani, tears fell on Dina's cheeks. His sadness and anger were already unbearable. For many years, he had to carry the heavy burden alone. Dina is already at the saturation point. Households that are expected to be lived simultaneously now only leave an inequality. Dina was actually not strong enough to continue her household. All the burdens felt on his back, from starting household affairs to looking for a chance to survive. But her husband Hari, as if indifferent and just living like a mortal, depended on his wife and was useless.
"I told you I don't want to!"with a pushy look Hari looked at his beautiful but unkempt wife. In the past because of the beauty of Dina who is a village flower, made Hari fall in love and now feel heavy to grant the wishes of his wife who has asked for divorce many times.
"Certify me, Mas. I'm tired of you never understanding, with the cries of our children who continue to whine for milk, with homework that never runs out, plus the work of making a living. Don't you feel sorry for me?", Dina said with a face as if she wanted to cry. Back facing her ignorant husband without pity on her.
"I told you, I don't want to, don't you understand what I'm saying?" snapped Day at his wife. His interrupted nap time as well as his wife's request for a divorce enraged Hari out spontaneously.
"I don't understand, why did you become like this?what genie possessed you until you became lazy? don't you feel sorry for Rani who was crying for milk?" Dina asked as if she wanted an explanation so that she understood her husband's behavior.
"Then make milk for Rani, why do you have to ask for a divorce?" The day seems innocent. He pulled back the blanket he had released.
Rani's cry became more and more. Dina's emotions are getting stoked.
"Susu Rani runs out, her disposable diapers too. Our first child will also go on the road from his school. Rice runs out, the fruit is not there, the gas is empty. You still want to sleep? If you don't want to lose us, try harder, don't just shut up, just watch tv, sleep, eat. Don't you know it all takes money?"with full emotion Dina exposed all the household needs that were waiting to be met.
"Keep the money from the porters washing and rubbing what did you buy?" The day stood as if questioning the hard work of his wife who from the morning went to work washing and rubbing in her neighbor's house and only came when the afternoon.
"I paid to pay all our debts, to survive. Didn't you know the rice I cooked was the result of a debt in the stall?gas that has run out also I have not paid, now Rani's milk is also used up. While you feel good about taking a good nap, you want to eat just take it without dizzy thinking about how to get it. Why is it so hard to let go of me?is it because you want to keep making me a cash cow that keeps serving you without you having to pay?the wife also needs to be blessed because it is the obligation of the husband. Don't you understand?"Dina spoke at length, but not one bit listened to by Hari. He fell asleep covered in a warm blanket.
Rain accompanied by lightning and lightning colored their conversation. The more rushing sounded like Dina's tears that seemed to be unable to stop. The husband she had was like dead. Not a single day appreciates Dina. Dina took Rani down from her sling. He quickly picked up the suitcase and put in his ugly shirt which he had been wearing for years. Rani's cries and rain together were equally earthy filling the day. He was no longer strong and intended to leave this house.
Hearing the sound of the closet opening, Day opened her eyes. She didn't actually sleep, which she did so that Dina wouldn't keep asking for divorce and talk a lot.
"Where are you going?" Hari knew his wife was leaving the house, but she still asked. Hari does not want to divorce his wife, because besides being beautiful also because Dina is a hardworking wife. He relied on Dina and immediately felt comfortable to keep quiet and just saw his wife slamming to meet all the needs of his life as well as his mother.
"I want to get out of here!" Dina kept putting her clothes in.
When Dina wants to put Rani's shirt on, Day gets in the way.
"Don't stop me!" Rani pushed Hari. But Hari did not budge a bit.
"If you want to go, don't take Rani and Abang. Let them take care of themselves, "Hari knew Dina's weakness was their child, so she purposely kept Dina from leaving.
"Ha..ha...ha...ha... would you care for them?are you able to feed them and meet all their needs?while all this time I've been bearing your life,"Dina laughed in her tears. Funny and angry at the same time. Dina pushed back Hari forcefully but instead Dina was pushed and fell down.
"It's raining now, can you let them get wet in the rain?" Day seemed to care for her children, when it was all a way for Dina to stay in this house.
"When do you care about them?" Dina wakes up and tries to get rid of Day again. But her limp from exhaustion and not eating against the energy of her husband, a man, made Dina bounce back and fall backwards.
Day carried Rani immediately. The child who cried asking for milk now thrashed to want to be embraced by his mother.
"Give me Rani!don't try to take it away from me," Dina's cry raced with the increasingly violent lightning piercing through the earth.
"No, if you want to go, go yourself. Don't bring children!"Hari wanted to see how far Dina could last. He wouldn't be able to leave if not with the child. Even if he leaves, he will come back, Hari thought.
"No, I'll take my son!Rani let's go with Mama!" Dina pulls Rani from Hari's sling. But Hari dodged and went out of the room. Dina chasing Day.
Apparently Dina's husband opened the door as if driving her away.
"Go if you want to go!"Hari wants to test Dina. She wanted to know if Dina would insist or kneel apologizing and begging to stay with her son.
Dina looked outside. Seen lightning with its passing light, followed by the sound of lightning that echoes add to the excitement of Dina's heart. Between going and staying here, which road should he take?Dina was worried, if she went alone, she would be free but what about her child?if he stays he will be with his children, but his life will continue like this, there will be no progress, there he will continue to suffer.
