A Choice's
First Meeting

A few months after Salsa's graduation, came om and his wife. Irna, that's the name of the wife of Salsa omnya, they come not only two, there are also new guests who set foot in the beautiful Salsa village, her name is Fifi's mother. He is the teacher of Salsa omnya, the reason he came here with is for treatment and since long ago he also really wanted to come to this village. But because there are some obstacles until now the desire of Fifi's mother is achieved.

They arrive home at night. After the hugging event to pay a little homesickness with the family, finally they choose to immediately rest so that the next day back fit and tired after a day on the trip can be a little treated.

There are many things that the Salsa family wants to ask and tell. Especially to his Omnya wife, Aunt Irna who had just come to his in-laws' house for the first time. Although they still feel awkward because they first met, but they continue to try to get along.

Seeing aunt Irna and mother Fifi in the kitchen early in the morning made Sarah's grandmother immediately approached them.

“What are you doing, son? How early in the morning was this in the kitchen? Let's go to the terrace. Kitchen work can later”. Prevent Sarah's grandmother from getting them out of the kitchen.

“Nnothing ma'am, Just can work as much as you can, no maksa too, fear something is wrong”. Answer aunt Irna

Indeed, they do not really understand cooking at the home of Sarah's grandmother because there cooking using firewood, while in Sulawesi it is very rare to find such things.

During the day Sarah's grandmother was in the kitchen preparing for lunch.

"Son Irna, what do you eat for breakfast?" Salsa's grandmother asked her new daughter-in-law.

“No need to bother ma'am, we can cook by ourselves”. Pinta aunty Irna for feeling bad.

“Nothing really, Just a little time, simple menu. Ala rasal” Grandma Sarah replied with a smile.

"Yes, It's up to mom, I do eat kok Bu, do not be picky inshaa Allah" replied his daughter-in-law very politely.

"What about Fifi's mom? The same? Can you eat anything, right?. Salsa's grandmother still asked because she was afraid of not liking the dishes she would make.

"Yya ma'am, we are willing to eat anything".

After some time thinking finally Sami grandmother cooked fish, tempeh, and vegetable Sop. Not to forget the typical sambal made by Grandma Salsa is sambal terasi. Simple home-style food is ready to be served.

Sarah's grandmother, she was the mother of Salsa's mother. Sarah's grandmother loved Salsa because she was the first grandchild in her family.

After breakfast was finished then they told a lot about Sulawesi, the Salsa family also asked a lot about the beginning of aunt Irna met with her om Salsa is om Ilham. They also told about the school that would be the place of Salsa.

in the middle of the story suddenly Salsa's mother says

"Mom, Tuh Salsa is still hesitant about going to school in Sulawesi" said Salsa's mother.

"Loh why? There is a good school, you will have many friends, you will also learn a lot there". Ms. Fifi began to explain the situation at the school that will be occupied by Salsa

"No idea, he said he did not want to leave his mother's father let alone his sister, very heavy".

"You want to go to school and be successful, do not half, you want to make your family happy, so you have to be sincere in sacrificing, especially away from your family".

Fifi's mother was also one of the teachers at the school that would be occupied by Salsa. He is an Arabic teacher. Fifi's mother was a very patient and loving teacher, she kept trying to give a beautiful picture of the school there and tried to take Salsa's heart so she wanted to go to school in Sulawesi.

Salsa's new aunt, Irna's aunt who is also the wife of his omnya, he is also always encouraging and often advises Salsa so that he wants to go to Sulawesi. He also said that there will also be his nephew who will soon be in school at Salsa place later.

In between the leisure time, they told Salsa a little.

“Nak, you if you go to school in Sulawesi do not need to be confused about where to stay, later you stay at home with aunt”.

“Oh, is that tan? Is my school far from home? If you want to go to school up what?”.

“Yah quite kid, if you want to go to school riding a motorbike just like you, he will also teach at the school that you will occupy later”.

Remember in SD Salsa used to walk, when you want to continue school in Sulawesi is different. He is no longer walking like before, he will go to school with his mother.

“How do you keep coming home? same with you too?” Starting many questions that Salsa issued because it began to be curious and interested.

“Ya same om you, it's what ngajar om you, so the return hour must also be the same”.

After a few days in the village, Sami's grandmother's family went on a pilgrimage to the tombs of the great scholars in his area. They also take a walk to the tourist attractions around it such as the park plaza kapuas which has a replica of the Equator Monument in one corner of the park, they also went to the Jami Pontianak mosque which is also known as Sultan Syarif Abdurrahman Mosque, this mosque can accommodate 1,500 worshipers. What a magnificent mosque.

After the mosque, do not forget they buy souvenirs located in the traditional market, the market is located on the side of the entrance of the mosque.

After about a month Fifi's mother went to treatment and stayed at Sami's grandmother's house, she said she wanted to go home first because there were some jobs left behind.

He came home with many memories of the beauty of the hometown that had been very curious finally paid off with satisfaction without disappointment.

Already feeling his own family, the departure of Fifi's mother accompanied by the cries of the family, as well as Fifi's mother who was also very sad because only a few days they were together.

“mom wait for you in Sulawesi darling!”. Fifi's mother said to Salsa who was also crying.

“Inshaa Allah ma'am, pray that it be facilitated and there are no obstacles whatsoever”. Fadhil replied to Fifi's mother.

“inshaa Allah sir, all will be easy if we want to try and I am sure Allah is also pleased with our good intentions”. Fifi's mother replied as she shook hands with the other family because quite a lot of people came to see Fifi's mother coming home, especially the neighbors.

Fifi's mother left and Sami's grandmother's family was not stopping to wave until the car that drove Fifi's mother was no longer visible from their sight.

Several days have passed since the return of Fifi's mother, and the Salsa family returned to the family home of her late father bu Fitri, Salsa's grandfather.

Grandpa Salsa village is quite far from the village. So they also rarely met and the family of Sami's grandmother always took the time to come there if the family was gathering all like this.
