A Box of Supplies for You
Chapter 9's

Dissolved with the stories that continue to roll until midnight, Ayla woke up excited when the sun had appeared high enough. He witnessed for himself that his best friend was just sitting on a reading chair while staring at him with a bored look.

Violet was already presentable in her uniform. Even Ayla clearly saw the Violet backpack that was on her back. A sign that he is ready to go to school.

Ayla looks the opposite. His waking face was clearly visible with disheveled hair. Not to mention the pink pajamas and similar colored bandanas attached to her body.

"What time is it?" ayla. Violet sniffed her throat while rolling her eyes before replying, "Any hour now, we're definitely late for school."

Ayla immediately jumped down the bed and ran towards the bathroom shouting, "Why didn't you wake me up earlier?!" Then slammed the bathroom door.

"I woke you up hours ago! You said you wanted to teach me in the kitchen. You might even sleep soundly like ****!" violet replied in annoyance.

Yesterday after school, he and Ayla had gone shopping a lot to teach Violet to experiment in the kitchen. Violet had high hopes that she would succeed in making beautiful and delicious foods like Ayla always did. Because her cooking teacher was so late that she didn't wake up even though Violet was screaming by her ear, she failed to get her cooking class today. They were late for school again.

After waiting for Ayla to get ready with lightning speed, they managed to arrive at the school after 30 minutes. Despite having a bath, Ayla's appearance is the same as her best friend. Her hair was still damp and a bit messy. His face was not smeared anything until it displayed his pale skin. Even his shirt wasn't put in.

The fat and moustached school guards told them to stand under the flagpole respectfully. Ayla and Violet had no other choice but to obey him.

There had not been five minutes of their sentence, Ayla had already started babbling in a lethargic tone, "It seems like I can't afford to do this for thirty minutes."

Violet glanced at Ayla for a bit before turning her focus back on the fluttering flag. "St.. Be still. Mrs. Brown is walking this way" he whispered.

Ayla glanced at the math teacher - she was the one who happened to be staring at him sharply too. He stepped towards Ayla with two waist-rigged hands. His glaring eyes made Ayla know that she would be taken in again by the woman.

"You're late again, Aira?!" Ayla grimaced, "Ayla, Ma'am," her correspondent. Violet glared her eyes hearing Ayla who was completely unafraid of correcting a teacher's mistakes. He slowly elbowed Ayla's waist and gave a 'silent look!' look!' to his best friend.

Ayla who saw Violet not taking sides with her immediately pursed her lips. Mrs anyway. Brown should know his identity clearly. Do not mention people's names. Poor parents who struggled to find a beautiful name for the princess just wayangnya, but instead digonta-turned with another name.

"I don't care!" Impact Mrs. Brown always managed to make Ayla surprised. Even though he had guessed that sentence would come out of Mrs' mouth. Brown every time he corrected his teacher's mistake.

His loud voice successfully made Ayla feel more dizzy. Damn it today. It's late waking up, messy appearance, no breakfast, yelled anyway.

"Are you not interested in school at all, Aira?"

'Ayla! I'm A-Y-L-A!' the name owner screams in his heart.

"I'm interested in school, really."

"Then what are you going to make up for this messy look of yours?" scolding her while looking at Ayla from toe to head. 'I'm not that disgusting!'.

"I woke up late. There is no time to improve the appearance. I don't want to be late any more than this" Ayla said a little proudly. He showed that he only cared about school. Not appearance. Even if he's not that guy. Ayla obviously doesn't really like school and isn't a learning hobby. The words he uttered were clear just to look for face.

"That means you're not interested in school, Aira! How can you let yourself get up late when you know that you have to go to school tomorrow?! You slackers!"

Ayla swallowed her saliva. Checkmate!

"Violet, you're still grounded standing here for 30 minutes. While Aira must clear the field until your punishment time is over. You understand that, Aira?!"

Ayla!

"But, Ma'am," Ayla's speech is interrupted when Mrs. Brown held up his hand. A sign that he doesn't want to be disputed. "My decision is round. Now do your punishment." Then the middle-aged woman left Violet and Ayla who were cursing inwardly.

"Wow, I admire your misfortune today, Ayla," Violet said in a contorted tone of amazement. Ayla sniffed in annoyance and glared at him just leaving Violet who laughed gigglingly at the suffering of her best friend.

Ayla had no other choice but to carry out her sentence with an irritated heart. So here he is at the moment. Walk around the edge of the field and pick up anything he can pick up. Starting from garbage, leaves, even pens that still look new. He threw the things he had picked up into a nearby trash can. Except for the new pen he found. Ayla put the thing in her skirt pocket. It is good to add property.

There had not been fifteen minutes he was working on the punishment, he already felt an overwhelming dizziness in his head. Not to mention his swaying gaze, as if it was an earthquake. The last thing Ayla saw was Violet who was running small towards her while calling out her name. Before everything looks dark.

"Ayla!"

When she opens her eyes, Ayla realizes that she is still in a beautiful dream world. Ayla was lying pretty on the fresh green grass. Around it were trees, flowers and birds flying to and fro. What a beautiful sight. But the beauty was defeated by a handsome man on top of her who continued to look at her closely.

"The prince rode," murmured Ayla. The man smiled sweetly before replying with a successful word made Ayla soar to the seventh sky.

"Yes, princess. I'm your white equestrian prince." Ayla smiled broadly. And finally! And finally! Something that Ayla had been dreaming of since childhood was happening right now.

"Oh my God, very handsome," said Ayla. The prince returned with a sweet smile before saying, "I know,"

"Have you come to escort me, prince?" ayla asked expectantly as she stared deeply at the dark bead of eyes. The prince's sweet smile was replaced with a sly grin.

"Abwww!" ayla shouted while covering her forehead which she believed had been hit by a flick that felt quite painful. He continued to grimace in pain as he rubbed with his eyes closed.

When Ayla opened her eyes all the sights she had seen - the pepohinan, grass, and flowers - were replaced by a small white room with a pungent medicinal smell. While the handsome prince with a sweet smile was replaced by a ketus class with a grin that was clearly visible on the beautiful face.

"You?! How come you're here?!" Urge Ayla while turning her head to the right and to the left. Search for something

"Why really? Looking for your riding prince?" Said Ferro in a dismissive tone. "You're already big. But your dreams haven't changed since Elementary School."

Ayla scowled at the ridicule of the man she unfortunately was appraising. Not only did the man have vivid, quality dreams meant that he could underestimate Ayla's simple dreams since she was six years old.

Ayla's childhood memories are back in her head.

"Kids today we will talk about ideals. Do you know what you want to be in the future?"

"Look!" Shouted all of Ayla's classmates. While Ayla is not included in the class of 'people who have future plans' like her friends. He just quietly remained on his bench. Listening to her busy friends explain what she wants to become.

"Miss, I want to be a teacher. I want to teach my students to be smart." Name's Tara. The woman who was full-bodied was no doubt her intelligence. He was Ferro's real competitor at school. No wonder he had such noble ideals as a teacher.

"I want to be a cop! Help catch criminals who are harming people!" Adrian said with excitement. The man with a sweet brown skin had just experienced a break in his home some time ago. He cried until he was out of school for almost a week because he lost his beloved PlayStation.

"I want to be a doctor. Injecting and treating people is a great job." Both Emma's parents are also doctors. He was familiar with things that smelled of health so Ayla was horrified when she saw his friend treating a fallen upperclassman to get a wound full of blood.

"If I wanted to be a detective." Everyone applauded hearing the unusual ideals thrown by Ferro. A rare, cool-sounding dream in the ears of a six-year-old Elementary School kid like Ayla and her friends.

Ayla knows clearly how obsessed Ferro is with mysterious things that a detective can solve. The man had all the books about Sherlock Holmes he had compiled. People as cool as Ferro will definitely look very charming with detective-style clothes that Ayla often sees on television.

"If you can't be a detective, just being president is okay" continued Ferro yamg again greeted by applause from his friends.

'Just' said? It's like being president is not a big thing. Ferro-class humans are indeed incomparable.

"Well, Ayla, now it's your turn to tell me your ideals."

"Hmmm.." Ayla muttered softly. His sweat melted from the temple when he realized all eyes were on him. Wait for Ayla's voice to tell her dreams.

"I.. Don't know what it's gonna be." Ayla's great-grandson. No one responded to Ayla. Everyone was silent with eyes that could not see him.

It is not Tara who is smart to easily determine the ideals. He has absolutely no ability to be a teacher.

It is also not like Adrian who found his ideals from bad experiences that have been experienced. Ayla's worst experience is not worse than falling when learning to ride a bike.

Ayla is also not like Emma who wants to be like her parents. Ayla's father was not a rich man with a myriad of accomplishments. He is just a regular employee who happens to work at one of the big companies. Ayla obviously didn't want to be like her working dad coming to the office early in the morning and coming home in the afternoon. Uninspiring.

But Ferro finds his desire to be a detective because of the character he likes. Is it possible that Ayla will find him if she thinks of a character she likes?

"I want to be..." Ayla's words were interrupted while waiting for someone who always haunts her head the last few moments.

"I want to be a princess with a myriad of beautiful dresses and magnificent palaces." Ayla is excited. Oh, which girl has never dreamed like Ayla?

Ayla had a proud smile when she thought that she had a dream that was no less cool than Ferro. But the smile faded when he realized his friends were laughing at a dream he had just had a moment ago.

"After that what? You want to meet the handsome prince and live happily ever after?" Adrian Ledek.

Ayla hesitated. He had no doubts about meeting a prince. But he was afraid of being laughed at by his friends.

"All girls want that, don't they?" Tanya Ayla plain. And being carried away by his friends. Sometimes they make comments that hurt Ayla a little.

Oye! What does a child think of his future?

Ayla was aghast in shock and came out from the shadow of the past as Ferro flicked his hand in front of her face.

"What do you think, Ayla? Until it's daydreaming like that." Ayla smiled slightly, "Just nostalgic for the past."

Ferro again grinned. How many times has the man before him done that? Previously Ayla had never found Ferro grinning as much as today.

"Are you done with your past business?" Ayla wanted to do it even longer. But it would be impudent if he obeyed that foolish desire.

"Then we start learning his math. I'm your teacher now, Ayla. Respect me" said Ferro, putting his books on Ayla's lap.

Seriously, Ferro? When Ayla just woke up from her stupor?
