A Box of Supplies for You

A Box of Supplies for You
Chapter 1

"Menu what else do I have to do for tomorrow?"

Ayla flipped through the recipe books while occasionally scratching her non-itchy nape. This is already the seventh book that he opened, but the inspiration to cook for tomorrow he has not found yet. Ayla was worried, she did not manage to give the menu that Ferro liked.

Reason that makes no sense. Of course, Ayla just wants to look cool because she is good at cooking. Especially with a different menu every day. The men in his school will label himself as the ideal wife candidate. Ferro never picky food. He will eat anything that can be eaten. Ayla knew very well about it. But the desire to make Ferro berstal did not subside.

He threw his recipe book in any direction. His hands were folded in front of his chest with a face that looked so irritated. He was eager to ask Ferro, 'What is the food menu you want tomorrow?'. Unfortunately, that's impossible for him to do. It's very unlikely. He has known Ferro for over 9 years. And never once did he chat with the man he had just assessed for 4 months.

For Ayla, love at first sight is nothing but nonsense. First love at first sight. More nonsense. It took him almost 10 years to get to know Ferro and make him his first love.

Ayla first knew Ferro Butler when she was in Primary School. I have been in the same class for 6 years. It doesn't really make them know each other and make good friends. They were just like two humans who happened to be in the same class. They barely communicated for 6 years. The only thing Ayla remembers about Ferro when he was in Elementary School was when they got into an unimportant brawl.

Ayla and Ferro were in 3rd grade. A teacher gave them a task in the printed book. Since it was still a new semester, not all students had printed books, so they had to lend each other. Whether awarded what, Ayla who is always the last participant because often slow to do the task, became the first student ready. The teacher and his friends just stared in surprise while commenting, 'Tumben'.

Since Ayla has a printed book, she immediately gives her printed book to anyone who needs it after she takes her errands. While waiting for her book to be returned, Ayla spends her time looking out the window fantasizing.

The thing she imagined was always the same, she wanted to become a royal princess. It would be nice if you have a beautiful face, a lot of fancy dresses, and a beautiful magnificent palace. And the most important thing of the delusion was to mate with a handsome prince riding on a white horse.

In real life, Ayla is far from it all. Ayla does not have a beautiful face that is able to charm all her male friends. She's just a small-bodied woman with pale-suffering white skin. His eyes were round sparkling, a small nose, and thin pink lips. Pretty sweet, but not really able to get the guys to their knees.

The lesson clock bell rang. His friends scrambled to deliver the task first. While he just sat still, watching while propping up his chin. It's been almost 5 minutes. But the printed books he lent were not returned. With little memory, he went to the table of the man he believed borrowed the book.

It's true, there's a book there. Without a word he immediately picked up the book and prepared to head to his seat. But the large hand that grasped his right wrist made him restrained.

Ayla furrowed her brows full of question marks, "Yes?"

What made this foreign man who happened to be his classmate hold himself back?

"What's wrong with my book?" Instead of answering, Ferro actually gave a question back. Ayla just looked at him in wonder, "Sorry?"

"You took my book!"

'What the fuck is this freak? Play with aja. Obviously I didn't take hers," Ayla's mind.

"I just took my book that you borrowed," Ayla tried to explain peacefully. Trying to dampen his emotions that could somehow appear. Not wanting to make a fuss, he tried to ignore Ferro and return to his seat. But once again he was restrained by that warm hand. With a slightly stronger grip.

"What the fuck, anyway?!" Once again, instead of answering, Ferro even robs Ayla of the printed book. His hand opens the book cover until it shows evidence of having the actual book.

Ferro Butler's.

Ayla cursed herself in her heart. How did the book change its name? He was sure that what he had noticed earlier was his book. But.. But why..?

Ferro looked at Ayla with a gaze that seemed to say, 'Tuh, right!' Ayla looked at Ferro with a confused look.

"As.. How could? That's.. It was mine" With a look of disdain, Ferro thrust the book bearing his name into Ayla's face. "Can't you read, Ayla?"

"Where is my book?" ayla asked with flushed cheeks. Trying to hide his shame because with his pede confessing that the book is his. Ferro simply replied by moving his shoulders upwards. After that he passed away leaving Ayla who lost her book.

Even if Ayla's book is carried away by another friend, it will one day be returned because it realizes that the book is carried away. But already 2 weeks had passed, there was no sign his book would return. Ayla had no other choice but to give it up.

Three years later he was approached by Tristan Moore, a classmate after school. The man carried a familiar book in Ayla's eyes.

"Ayla, here, from Ferro," he said, giving the book to Ayla. Ayla's brows furrowed in wonder, "Ferro?"

Tristan nodded before patting Ayla on the shoulder twice. I want to go home first. Ayla opened the familiar book cover and found the name of the owner.

Ayla Baker's.

That man!, Ayla maki in the heart. He was upset because he still remembered the expression of the face that sucks Ferro when he was proud to thrust the book that has his name. And he was even more upset when he found his book - which Ayla guessed was also carried away by Ferro - returned 3 years later. Not to mention what the man did instead of returning himself and apologizing. He left the book to Tristan and told him to return it to Ayla. Without saying 'sorry' or 'thank you'. They are in class.

Really not a gentleman!

Ayla swore that the Ferro-species man was by no means her ideal type.

When Ayla entered First High School, she was reunited with Ferro. Just not in the same class. And Ayla was so grateful for that. He was still upset by Ferro's actions while still in Primary School.

Despite having been in the same class for 6 years, it did not make Ayla and Ferro greet each other while at school. They acted as if they had never known him at all. And that's almost right. Ayla and Ferro are just strangers who happen to be in the same class. Often Ayla and Ferro looked away or pretended not to see each other when they came into contact at school.

They were reunited when they entered High School. And here is the turning point of everything that happens.

Once, Ferro called out to him and talked about one thing he had forgotten about what it was. Ayla didn't really hear what Ferro was asking her. He even focused on the eyes of Ferro who turned out to be so good to be stared at continuously. Ferro's eyes were slightly faint with a deep gaze. Tranquilize.

Ayla falls in love for the first time.

About bringing supplies for Ferro starting from Ayla who often bring supplies from home. Because it is not good to eat alone among his friends - especially men - who choose to save money, with a sense of a little unwilling Ayla offers his provisions to them. But the feeling was destroyed instantly because it found Ferro was one of the people waiting in line for food from him.

Rejeki should not be denied, it is the slogan of Ferro whenever Ayla offers her food. And whatever kind of food Ayla had, not once did Ferro ever refuse it. He really is not a picky person in food matters. And Ayla happily distributed her provisions every day to Ferro and his friends to enjoy together.

"It looks like I'll just make a tartlet for tomorrow." Ayla spoke to herself while taking the jacket. Then rushed to the department store to buy the materials he needed in making a special tartlet ala himself for Ferro.

As usual, Ayla always woke up at 3 a.m. While everyone else was still sleeping soundly, Ayla had already moved here and there making food for her provisions today. With her pink pajamas and hair in the high midgets, Ayla was busy processing the dough into lumps, and shaping it so that it could be printed.

He did his job while humming, singing again The Best of Love by Michael Bolton with an ear phone attached to his ear.

After a while and several stages, Ayla's special loving tartlet was successfully removed from the oven. He looked at his hard work with a loving look.

"I made it with love. I hope Ferro eats it with love."

Monday is the day most schoolchildren hate. Ayla is one of them. Monday is Monster Day, he said. After going through a relaxing and calming day last week, tomorrow must spend time at school with all kinds of drama is the most frustrating thing.

This boring morning should Ayla and her friends fill up with math subjects. The lesson Ayla hated the most. His hand propped up his chin watching a human figure explaining matter in front of the class. No, not his math teacher with glasses and hickeys. But a teenage boy with a body that is proportional to the size of a man his age. Ferro explained the material that Ayla clearly did not understand with a long wooden ruler in her hand.

"Aylla! Don't just daydream!" ferro's sudden reprimand that made Ayla jump in shock. His eyes flashed with a dumb expression that he could not hide.

"Aira, appreciate your friend who's explaining up ahead!" Tegur Mrs's. Brown while allowing his white glasses.

"My name is Ayla, Mrs. Brownian. Not Aira," Ayla's correction. This isn't the first time Chole Brown has forgotten her name. Not a strange thing indeed, because basically Ayla is not a flashy person. He's not smart. Not great at organizing. And not a person who is famous for his misbehavior until all teachers - especially teachers BK - know him. He was just an ordinary student with a mediocre brain capacity. His ability in academia was quite poor, but it was not until it was completely destroyed. His ability in the field of art is quite good, just not getting a good appreciation from the people around him.

"I don't care."

Always has.

"All you have to do is go ahead and repeat what Fedo has already explained!"

"Hm.. Sorry Ma'am, my name is Ferro. Not Fedo," corrects Ferro. Contrary to what he did to Ayla. Mrs. Brown responded to Ferro's remarks by patting his forehead and massaging his temple. It was as if he had made a fatal mistake just for forgetting the name of his most clever student.

"Oh, jeez. I'm sorry, Ferro. I was a little confused. Your name is similar to a loyal visitor to BK's room, Fedo." Ferro let out his gentle smile. "No problem."

Ayla rolled her eyeballs. Piqued. The teacher is unprofessional! Just because I'm not as smart as Ferro doesn't mean he has the right to discriminate against me!

"Mira! Quickly go ahead and explain to your friends!" mrs orders. Brown while ruffled waist. His eyes glared at the threat. Instead of being scary, the math teacher was even more ludicrous in Ayla's eyes.

"Ayla, ma'am,"

"Whatever!"

Ayla was able to catch Ferro staring at her with an amused look. Ayla sniffed in annoyance and coded through the gaze that she was annoyed with Mrs. Brownian. Ferro nodded back and grinned. His hand raised as if allowing Ayla to come forward with him.

"Please go forward, miss Baker," said Ferro ignorant. Ayla replied with a rude snort and stood beside Ferro. Just stand. He did nothing because there was no brain he could explain to his friends. Mrs. Brown looked at him, "Can't?"

Ayla said nothing. Just shooing the horses. While Ferro tried to hold back his laughter by putting his clenched hand to the front of his mouth. Small throats.

"Let me help Ayla, Ma'am," Ferro pleaded with an impudent tone. If so, how could Mrs. Brwon. He always let his favorite student do whatever he likes.

"Please" he said gently with a contrived look of warm eyes. A second later it turned 180 degrees. "You stand in front of Aira!"

I'm Ayla. A-Y-L-A!

Even so, he remained happy because Ferro was willing to help him. A very rare thing Ferro did. Until Ayla doubted that Ferro today is not the Ferro he knew years ago. Thank you to Mrs. Brown did not allow her to return to her seat. That way he could see Ferro closer. Ayla's cheeks flushed red to find Ferro's handsome face that was 1 meter away from her. He looks so amazing with all his charms in teaching.

Thanks for today, Ferro.

The break bell rang after nearly 45 minutes of Ayla standing in front. Ferro headed straight to his seat shortly after he finished his explanation. Ayla did not listen to what Mrs. Brown explains for next week's assignment. After saying hello, Mrs. Brown went outside the classroom while looking at her sharply. Ayla simply replied with an awkward smile.

After confirming Mrs. Brown was already completely gone, he walked towards his stool with a wide smile. "Finally! Meal time!"

"It seems that standing in front makes you look like a starving animal" Brianna Green said, taking her pocket money in a bag.

"of course. Standing up also needs energy," Ayla replied casually. Brianna laughing. And the other friends who were listening were chuckling. While Ferro just looked at Ayla with an amused look while shaking her head.

"Went to the cafeteria, Aira?" bargain Evelyn Hunt while mocking the call from Mrs. Brownian. Ayla followed the groove she made. "My name is Ayla. Not Aira."

"I don't care!" chirp Noah Dawson with the exact same rhythm as the original owner of the sacred sentence. Of course, that invites laughter. One by one they began acting in imitation of Mrs. Brownian.

"Re-explain what Fedo has done!" jessica Harris said with a funny face. Ferro cleared his throat before chiming in, "My name is Ferro, Ma'am."

"Oh, I'm sorry, Ferro." Max Hamilton joined in with an exaggerated tone of sadness. Laughter came back. Jessica patted Ayla on the shoulder, asking her to be patient with the punishment she had received. Then go to the cafeteria with other friends.

"I woke up bad luck. So did not have time to make provisions. I'm going to the cafeteria, huh? You okay by yourself?" violet asked, my dear friend Ayla with a worried tone. Anxiety that does not actually need to exist because Violet will only go to the cafeteria that is not too far from their class.

"I'm not really alone, Violet. There they are," said Ayla while looking at her male friend who was still sitting on their respective benches while telling a long distance story.

Unlike his female friends who immediately rushed to the cafeteria as soon as the break bell rang. Ayla's classmate prefers to stay quiet in class. Save the pocket money that will later be bought expensive watches. Then will swarm anyone who comes to class with food.

"Oh, it's not like that. But.. Ah already! I'll go to the cafeteria first, okay?" Ayla nodded. Allows. After Violet stepped out of the classroom, Ayla grabbed the 2 boxes in the drawer and placed them on the table. His hands deftly opened the cover and featured tartlets with a wide variety of toppings and designs.

As usual, Ayla immediately offered her friends who were in class. One by one they swarmed Ayla and took the tarlet.

"Make it yourself again, Ayla?" ask Joshua Hill for a little chat. Joshua knows for sure that Ayla is great in the kitchen. Moreover, make sweet pastries with beautiful decorations. Ayla nodded.

"This much?" ask David Jones. Ayla replied jokingly, "Yes. Let you all eat. Poor you guys holding your saliva watching me enjoy myself."

"Ayla, Oh Ayla! You're so considerate. It's really suitable to be my future wife" Max said, shaking Ayla's hair to the point of falling apart. Ayla brushed off Max's hand and put on a face with a horrified expression. As if to say, amit-amit.

After the others finished taking the tartlet and returned to their respective places, then Ferro came to Ayla and collect his rations. Ferro spoke in a rhythmic tone, "Mana mountain.. Mine's mana.."

"Thank you for helping me out, Ferro," Ayla said as she offered the box that still had a few tartlets so that Ferro could choose what he wanted.

"You're being punished precisely because of Ferro, Ayla. He scolds you while daydreaming," Noah's chirp, repaid by Ferro. His index finger was in front of his lips, telling Noah to shut up. Ayla was silent for a while while turning back her memories on the incident a moment ago. He realized that Ferro was the one who said 'don't daydream.'

"You're right, Noah. He's biang. Then it's not so," Ayla said casually as she closed her tartlet box and prepared to put it in the desk drawer. Ferro tried to hold him back, "Well, don't do it, dong!"

Ayla nodded and looked at him with eyes like a crescent moon. He opened the tartlet box again and allowed Ferro to take it. "I'm kidding. Take it."

Ferro chose the tartlet and sat himself on the vacant Violet bench. Next to Ayla. Things Ayla did not expect before so she became misbehaved. Ferro looked at him amusedly, "Why?"

Ayla shook her head while smiling awkwardly. Then gazing towards the front while tasting his artificial tartlet. Trying to ignore the handsome man beside her. But he couldn't lie to himself that his cheeks were warm. Hopefully Ferro doesn't notice his red cheeks.
