Chapter 23

The next day Arman recounts Sugeni's arrival last night, on Syafa. If only they could want to leave right now, but unfortunately they are constrained by work. It is impossible if both of them have to be licensed on the same day, especially without a clear reason.

They had to wait a few more days to return to village X. But before they get there, Syafa plans to go back to meet Khadijah and Maura. His heart said as if saying that he had to go back to see them.

Arman and Syafa visit Maura's house after work.

When the two of them reached the front of the gate towards Maura's house. Suddenly Syafa saw Maura running.

'' Maura? " said Syafa.

Arman turned his head towards Syafa with an astonished face, then he looked around looking for Maura.

'' Maura, don't !! '' Shafa shouted loudly when he saw Maura running towards the highway. At the same time there was a large vehicle that appeared at high speed.

'' Maura stop !! '' yelled Syafa again.

'' Shafa, hey, sober up..Shafa, "Arman shook the arm of the girl who had looked panicked and even called out the name of Maura.

Suddenly Syafa was stunned and awakened from his subconscious he saw that Maura almost hit his body into a large car that passed on the highway.

Syafa's breathing hunts down, his premonition says there will be bad things happening.

'' Why are you? '' asked Arman.

Syafa did not immediately answer, his gaze circled around and stopped at one point. His Netra caught something similar to the one he had just seen in his subconscious earlier. One large car drove from the same direction, although it was still quite far but Syafa could see it and was sure it was the car.

'' Maura is in danger, we must help her immediately ! '' syafa said with a panicked face.

Arman increasingly does not understand what the words of Syafa. The girl dashed into the direction of the archway, Arman followed her from behind with a wondering heart.

At Khadijah's house, Maura was on a rampage. His body is controlled by a subtle creature so strong. Khadijah too Faridah was overwhelmed by the girl's rampage, so they could not stop her as Maura ran out of the house.

Shafa rounded his eyes, the current Maura was actually before him. The girl ran as fast as in her shadow a few seconds ago. Arman was surprised when he saw Maura running from the opposite direction to them.

'' Arman, please stop Maura. " Syafa immediately ran closer to Maura after giving Arman a cue.

Without asking too much Arman complied and immediately blocked Maura's steps that seemed unusual. The girl's face was fierce and her appearance was a little messy.

Maura glared as her steps were blocked by the two people before her, Arman and Syafa.

'' Son please Maura, shouted someone several meters behind Maura. Apparently Khadijah who was running was in a hurry chasing his daughter.

Maura looked back and then looked back at Arman and Syafa one by one. He grinned and tried to encourage the two not to block his path.

'' Arman, don't let Maura escape ! '' shrieked Syafa who immediately held the girl's arm.

Arman also swiftly held Maura's steps, making the girl wriggle because both of her arms were held by Arman and Syafa.

'' Fortunately there are you, otherwise I don't know how the fate of Maura is. '' Tangis Khadijah broke out.

Maura continued to thrash and her voice growled.

'' What happened to Maura? '' asked Arman in surprise.

'' He was possessed and rampaged. Mother and Aunt Faridah were overwhelmed, so Maura ran away and ran here. '' Khadijah is still sobbing.

'' We better get Maura back home. '' Shafa began to have difficulty controlling the creatures that possessed Maura's body.

The sound of knocking on the door from out there, Faridah immediately opened the door. Apparently Amir and Ustadz Dzikri were coming. When Maura rampaged, Khadijah had called Amir to immediately ask for help Ustadz Dzikri to come to his house. And now Amir came to bring the Ustadz.

At first glance Faridah told them what Maura experienced just now, then they went inside to meet Maura who was still controlled by subtle creatures.

Ustadz Dzikri approached, began to recite prayers and chant holy verses. Initially Maura's body thrashed but a few moments later weakened and then unconscious. Maura was immediately laid to her room by Amir.

Meanwhile, Syafa begins to tell what he sees in the shadow of his subconscious. If Syafa and Arman are late, there is little chance that Maura will crash into the big car. Fortunately, Syafa immediately realized his bad feeling earlier.

Arman and Syafa also tell their plan about the trapped spirit of Jeni and her retained soul Maura in village X. They also describe the series of events they experienced when coming to village X, about Sugeni, Vijaya and all related to the Maura case. Including Sugeni's arrival last night which requires them to return to village X .

Ustad Dzikri listened carefully to their stories, as did Amir, Faridah and Khadijah. It all feels like a fairy tale and is very hard to accept common sense, but it's all real and it's really happening.

They began to negotiate a solution to this strange problem. The matter that accidentally ensnared Maura and the others went into the shackles of the demons.
