Chapter 2

The accident happened on the bus that Maura was riding, all the victims were evacuated and rushed to the Hospital.

The majority of passengers died at the scene, the rest died on the way to the hospital and some were seriously injured.

At 12:00

Maura blinked her eyes, she regained consciousness after several hours of unconsciousness.

His gaze circulated throughout the room, now he was in the Hospital.

It was startled by the sound of someone crying in the next room who was only blocked by one curtain dividing between one room and the other.

Slowly he tried to reach the curtain with one hand, he seemed to have difficulty moving the brown cloth.

Sret

As the curtains opened his half, he saw someone lying on his back. His shoulders moved because he was crying.

Maura again closed the curtains with difficulty considering his body was too limp to reach the end of the curtain.

But before the cloth was tightly closed, he could see the woman's face turned towards her, very creepy.

Maura hopes she is hallucinating after a long period of unconsciousness, she tries to stay calm and think positive.

The dim lights make the room very less lighting. Maura was again startled by the shadow standing behind the curtains next door.

Someone was standing there. Maura observed the shadow, she was sure it was the woman there. The woman behind the curtain suddenly moved unnaturally, her body that was standing now began to shrill behind her back. The unusual movement of kayang raises the sound of bone cracks like fractures.

Maura began to fear this time she could not be mistaken to see let alone hallucinate. Maura began to look down there where the curtains did not cover the floor.

How surprised Maura when he saw pale white feet with bloody wounds in some parts, even the feet were a little floating and did not step on the ceramic floor.

'' Wh-who are you ? '' maura asked with a trembling voice.

But there was no answer from behind the curtains, only a groaning sound of pain and crying that he heard. It was a heartbreaking cry, as if she was enduring the pain.

'' Maura, suddenly someone called her name on the other side.

Maura sighed when she found Medina appearing behind the curtains in front of her bed.

'' Dina, why are we here ? Shouldn't we go home ? What's going on ? '' Maura showered her with many questions.

Medina reviewed the smile but her face was slightly expressionless. He sat on the chair next to the bed, his gaze still firmly attached to Maura. Eyes that are shady but seem to hide something.

'' Did you forget that the bus we were riding had an accident ? '' said Medina.

Maura tried to recall the incident earlier this afternoon, before the end she was lying here.

Shadows flashed through Maura's mind, he began to remember the fateful incident that befell him and his two friends.

'' Where is Jeni ? '' Maura remembered Jeni, the girl should be with them.

'' Are you all right yourself ? So I'm the only one lying weakly in the hospital ? '' Maura was a little surprised, her current self felt helpless. But Medina looks okay even Jeni says she's fine too.

'' I've been treated, just a little bit hurt. '' Medina threw away her face as she spoke.

'' Thank goodness you and Jeni are okay. But Din, I saw the terrible figure behind the curtain, Maura remembered the female figure earlier, even though the shadow there had disappeared but she was still curious who it was.

Maura's index finger pointed at the curtain to her left, Medina following the direction of the pointy index. He was silent for a while and then started talking.

'' There was no one there. The patient over there died this afternoon, do you remember a mother sitting in a seat with you ? He's the one. '' Medina's words stunned Maura, so she had seen the ghosts of the mothers.

'' What ? Don't want it dong, which is really the time I saw ghosts. All my age I never saw that. '' Mimik Maura's face began to tense up again.

'' No need to be afraid, I am here. '' Medina began to calm down, but Maura was still afraid if at any time the ghostly figure reappeared.

'' I want to go home from here Din, where Jeni we go home yuk ! I'm scared, take her.

'' Jeni came home first, she was picked up by her family. Later if you are better you can go home. Just pray and believe that you can still fight, Medina put her words at the end of the sentence.

Maura did not understand what her best friend meant, maybe Dina was encouraging herself to get well soon. I don't know what is clear at this time Maura feels fine, there is pain but I don't know which part is sick. He himself was confused as to why he could feel such a thing.

He just felt his whole body limp like he was powerless.

Meanwhile Jeni is still confused looking for her two best friends. The bus he was riding on was so quiet, some of the passengers who were there just kept their gazes blank and their faces deathly pale.

Even though before the bus was crowded by the voices of people who chatted. Jeni who had fallen asleep on the bus was now awake because of the silence that suddenly ambushed. Especially now that Medina or Maura is not there.

'' What might they come down and leave me, Jeni dazed looking out the window.

Just the darkness he saw out there, apparently it was late at night but strangely he did not get off the bus. Jeni thought her two friends had gone down first and left her who was asleep.

'' Bang, stop here bang ! '' jeni exclaimed at the bus conductor standing in front of the bus door.

Instantly the bus stopped, but strangely the bus stopped as if without brakes. There was no shock to his body like a vehicle that braked suddenly.

Not wanting to worry about it, Jeni immediately stood walking to the front door where the conductor was.

'' Bang, it has not been paid the same fare as my two friends ? '' asked Jeni.

There was no answer from him, just a soft nod from the conductor's pale face. Jeni was astonished to see his attitude, not to mention that the conductor's gaze was straight at the windshield and did not turn her head towards him.

Jeni got off the bus as soon as she was sure Medina and Maura had paid the fare.

The bus drove back after Jeni got off. Jeni looked around the street, an area familiar to her like dejavu she began to step back.

'Good thing I got up, I'm really here again. My hometown, if you wake up late in a little must be late, ' Jeni grumbled.
