Sometimes a person regrets something that happened in his life, so he feels as if he does not want to continue the dream he once strung together.
Serli's grief deepened as he recalled his parents' struggle to get him to school. It was a pride when he managed to get into Golden A&H School and get a scholarship.
It not only mitigates his school fees but can also meet the school costs of his sister who just entered the first level school.
"If I don't continue my education at that school, how can I cover my sister's education costs."
"But if I stay in school how can I walk in front of all my friends?"
"What should I do ? should I fight them like Airin ? but how will my family fate." inner Serli with tears shed.
While Serli was engrossed in his sadness, Deo who happened to pass by the place saw him.
"Isn't that Golden's school uniform ? then who is that girl ? why was he here at school ? did he skip school ?" deo asked as he watched Serli closely.
"I'd better get there. Who knows if I can help him he looks sad" Deo said as he walked closer to Serli.
"May I sit here ?" ask Deo.
Then he immediately sat down without getting an answer from Serli.
"I'm sorry I just sat down, ending you've been answering for a long time. By the way why are you here ? isn't it still School hours."
"If I see the uniform you're wearing is from Golden School. It means we're one school."
"How come I'm on clearance right now because I have to keep my sister in the hospital, while you're here ?" deo asked as he watched Serli who lowered his head.
"I just want to be alone." Serli replied briefly.
"You want to be alone but choose to be on the playground. Do you want to play alone or do you want to remember your own childhood ?" ask Deo.
Serli only stared at Deo briefly then he lowered his head again.
"If you were one of the students at Golden A&H you'd soon know why I'm here." said Serli.
"I'm sorry if my words are less pleasing, but if you can find out why you're crying ? as a man I would never have the heart to see a woman cry bitterly like this" Deo said.
"Miss introduce me to Deo, one of the students from Golden A&H. I'm in a class with Arian the chairman of OSIS, which is very popular at any school" Deo said.
Serli smiled then he just shook his head looking at Deo who was so confident.
"Didn't you believe what I said ? if you don't believe me, I can call Arian. He was my best friend since I was a kid."
"So he will definitely lift the call from me his true friend" Deo said as he moved his eyebrows.
"Yes I believe. But there's no need for you to call brother Arian. Right now he may still be busy with his lessons." replied Serli.
"You're wrong ! Arian must be in the library right now. He's busy preparing for our school anniversary."
"By the way, what's your name ? it seems like I've never seen you, are you the new student that's been the hot talk of our school ?" ask Deo.
"I'm not a new student. The new student was named Airin, she was so smart and so beautiful, people would not believe that she was a street sweeper." Serli explained.
"Include me Serli." Serli replied as he extended his hand.
"I'm Deo." Deo replied as he shook Serli's hand.
The two then smiled and looked straight ahead. Watching children play and laugh with their friends.
"You're beautiful when you smile. Even though your tears are still visible, at least you've shown your smile."
"Remember when we were little we wanted to grow quickly and quickly become adults. And now you must think that adults are not as beautiful as we imagined."
"Actually either a child or an adult, life remains the same. Sometimes there's a love sometimes there's grief."
"Remember one thing, the more concentrated the night, the closer it is to the morning. So it must be your tears and a smile welcoming the world."
"Tell the world that you are able to continue this journey even though there are still many winding roads full of thorns" Deo said politely.
"Maybe you can talk like that because you don't know how heavy the burden of life I have to bear" Seli said as he breathed in rough.
"If the burden you bear is heavier than the burden I bear. It means God trusts you more than me."
"God believes that you are capable with all the heavy burdens of the moment. So keep thinking positively so that positive energy is always with you." replied Deo.
"Tumben I can be this wise. Maybe I really have an advantage ? or I'm actually one of the wise ones." Deo.
"You're right, I should be able to think positively so that the positive energy follows me" Serli said.
"Then smile, show the world that you are able to overcome all the burdens that are currently on your shoulders" Deo said, staring at Serli.
While Serli, just stared straight ahead. His eyes looked open but looked so empty and hollow.
"Actually what's your problem, so you're so depressed. If I could help, I would help. I can't bear to see you like this." Deo's inner.
"Do you have a lot of free time ?" ask Serli.
"I'm actually going to the hospital, but if you need help I'm ready to help you" Deo replied sincerely.
"I mean if you have free time you can be here but ... ." said Serli
"But if I'm busy I'd better get out of here and let you lament your own fate, so ?" ask Deo.
"It's not what that means. I just don't want you to care about me while you have so much to do."
"If you don't mind, I'd like to visit your sick sister" Serli said trying to fix the hot atmosphere.
"Oh so, then let's walk now. Rather than you crying lamenting fate you better fill it with more rewarding activities." Deo replied with a smile.
"Let's go !" said Serli as he stood and walked ahead of Deo who was still sitting.
Deo did not expect Serli's reaction to be like that.
