A voice that sounded resolute, yet as if his speech was capable of piercing into the recesses of Zico's heart. It hurt, but he knew it was a consequence he had to accept. Four years later, his father still could not accept it.
Zico looked up trying to fight his pain, he looked at his Wira-Papanya with an expressionless face. "I'm just here to tell you that I'm getting married next week, Pah. I ... want to ask for the blessing of Mamah and Papah. I hope Mamah Papah wants to come and be my marriage witness."
The hero laughed cynically. "You think I'd like to come to your wedding?! No, you take care of your marriage yourself. Didn't you say yourself that you could do anything yourself? Yaudah that means you do not need your parents right," said Wira coldly.
Maya holds Wira's shoulders gently, her eyes looking at Wira as if she wants Wira to speak more gently to her child. "Well, that's a long time ago. Sorry Zico, Pah. Kasian Zico, he's been willing to come here after so long to ask for our blessing as parents." Maya said in a soft tone, pleading that her husband might change his mind.
"No, Mah. Papah's decision was already unanimous, Papah will not be present at the wedding of a child who has already left his family. Let him take care of his own business." Wira spoke bitterly without listening to his wife's plea.
Zico knew what was already his Papa's decision was inviolable, so he no longer said anything to be able to make his Papa change his mind. Without saying a word, Zico immediately stepped out of the house. Because for him to be useless he was willing to persuade however, his father would never change his decision.
Sally widened her eyes in surprise when she saw Zico leave her home. He looked at Maya and Wira alternately and looked down politely. "I'm the same Zico went home first, Om ... Aunt. Sorry if the atmosphere is so bad because of our arrival, I say yes Om ... Auntie." Sally greets Zico's parents' hands.
"Aunty should be sorry," Maya replies unkindly, as Sally had to hear unpleasant things the first time she visited. "You're the same Zico be careful, yes, we're definitely the best do'ain for your wedding." Maya continued her words while smiling gently.
Sally smiled, after saying goodbye once again she came out following Zico who was already in his car. It felt like his heart was mixed considering what was going on inside, he had no idea what kind of trouble was going on between Zico and his family. For sure it was a big thing that made Zico's relationship with his parents become tenuous.
Sally got into Zico's car, in the car she saw Zico flinching with a look of sadness on his face. Zico, who has always put on an annoying face, apparently keeps a problem of this magnitude alone. Somehow he can be as strong as pretending to be happy while on television, while what happens in Zico's life is just the opposite.
That sad expression again Zico hid quickly, as soon as he saw Sally. He immediately drove his car without making a sound away from the yard of his parents' house.
"We want to go straight for clothes?" sally asked hesitantly, she was a little afraid to see Zico's unfriendly-looking face.
"Yes," Zico replied briefly without taking his eyes off the streets.
"Why ... if we buy ice cream first?" Wanting to feel he locked his mouth that already knew fear, still continue to lure Zico.
Unlike his guess, Zico just agreed Sally's invitation. A miracle Zico was willing to obey, but Sally was grateful because she was not scolded as she had in mind.
Zico drives his car to a nearby ice cream shop, before he heads to a boutique for his wedding dress fittings. Right at the end of the road there is an ice cream shop complete with variants and delicious. Once he found it, Zico immediately parked his car in front of the ice cream shop.
"Don't wear a mask, a hat, glasses?" asked Sally who was confused to see Zico who was about to come out without wearing any attributes to cover her face.
"No need" he answered briefly.
Sally shrugged her shoulders indifferently, then walked out of the car. He stepped behind Zico following him into the ice cream shop. Arriving there he immediately looked at the variants of ice cream that exist. Various flavors of ice cream available are placed in the glass display case, seeing it makes Sally enthusiastic to choose the taste she wants to try.
"You want a medium size vanilla flavor that cones one yes, Ma'am!" exclaim Sally spirit.
Zico slightly smiled at Sally's enthusiastic tone of voice buying ice cream, like a child. "I'm the same as you, but the chocolate taste," Zico said, taking out his wallet.
"The total is 120,000 yes, Mas!" said the cashier while watching Zico who usually only he saw on television, now he can see directly.
"This is yes, Ma'am!" zico said as he received two ice creams in his hand, he gave one of them to Sally.
"Thank you" said the cashier.
Zico stepped first towards the available table, followed by Sally behind him. The two sat face to face in a chair located at the very end, so as not to be too the center of attention.
Zico notices Sally who really looks like a child when given ice cream, but she said she did not want to be persuaded by ice cream. This really strange woman in front of him. He enjoyed the chocolate ice cream in his hand.
"I'm sorry if you've become my problem," said Zico suddenly.
Sally stopped eating the ice cream in her hand. He turned his eyes to Zico, who was eating his ice cream for a while. "You're always pretending to be nice, huh? Not tired?" The words he wanted to say from earlier finally came out.
Now that Zico stopped eating his ice cream, he was a little surprised by Sally's words. He looked at Sally who was looking at him. "No, anyone who pretends to be happy. Don't be so smart!" look Zico, he doesn't like to be seen as pity by others.
"You're tired, sometimes you can really vent your sadness. Do not always you pendam, like it will destroy your mentality from Dalem." Sally seemed not to listen to Zico's previous words that did not like being followed.
Zico laughed sarcastically at hearing that. "You know what you think about other people's mental state? You don't understand anything, so stop pompous with my sympathy. I can handle my own problems!" pekik Zico cold.
"I don't understand what it's like to be you, but I know it feels like I have to be forced to do everything myself without the help of parents. I know how tired it is when we need parental support to be a place where the story when we do the hard thing, but are forced to mendam all that alone. I know what it's like to fight alone without the support of the parents behind it, and that's .. tired." Sally seemed to get carried away with her feelings, until she also felt her sadness that had to live alone without her parents. "I know, because I too .. understand that." Sally continued her words while smiling wryly looking at the large glass that showed the street across there.
Zico gasped at it, he felt guilty. "Old man lo...." Zico did not continue his sentence, because he did not know what happened to Sally the same thing as it seemed or not.
"My parents died exactly ten years ago. As a result of the accident that made me have to lose the three most important people in my life" Sally replied still with her own smile. Everything is still a wound for him, but he wants to be able to make peace with his past. Even if it's not easy.
Zico looked at Sally concerned, he did not know if the woman who had looked excited had a dark past. Moreover, it happened at the age of Sally who was still fairly young, surely it was very heavy. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you want your past."
"It's not your fault, though. I understand how you feel, even though I don't know what's going on between you and your parents" Sally said, turning her eyes to Zico.
"I'm just saying, don't ever feel alone. If you don't know who to tell about your problem, you tell God. Because if the story is the same man, sometimes we only get sympathy from them. But if you tell God, you not only become calmer, you can also get the best solution." Sally continued her sentence, she hoped that with this remark Zico could feel better.
Zico nodded slowly, he thought Sally had a point. All this time he felt distant to the Creator. He still performs worship, but it is only a form of duty without doing it sincerely. Moreover, praying, he had not prayed for a long time after worshiping. Perhaps that was why his heart never calmed down.
"You're going to a shirt fitting place now? Let the spit can be done all," said Sally.
"Kneel!" reply Zico after spending the last mouthful of his ice cream. The two then moved out of the ice cream shop. It was fortunate that they visited during the day, so it was still quiet. So Zico does not need to be mobbed by many people.
After the two got into the car, Zico drove his car towards the boutique. The nearest boutique here is Aletta's boutique, it seems he has no choice but Aletta's boutique. He immediately directed her to Aletta's boutique.
It did not take long, they finally arrived at the boutique that read 'Aletta Boutique'. Zico flinching for a moment at the boutique, he was preparing his heart to see Aletta return after the event.
"I go first, I want to pray first." Sally got out of the car first and stepped inside the boutique without waiting for Zico. He wanted to perform Zuhur prayers first at the boutique musala, before they fit the clothes.
Zico saw Sally who had entered the boutique, finally he got out of his car. He stepped slowly towards Aletta's boutique, his heart racing as his footsteps drew closer to the boutique. Until he opened the door of the boutique, he saw Aletta who was checking the goods at the cashier table.
Again his heart was racing to see Aletta, plus when he saw Aletta with Devian last time as if imagined in his mind.
While Aletta, who was checking the goods, heard the sound of the door opening. He turned his gaze toward the door, but then he froze as soon as he saw who was there. His mind was confused, his tongue was too mute to just greet the person at the end of the door.
"Hi!"
