A red Ferrari stopped right in front of the grounds of the two-storied house, in a modern minimalist style. Zico got out of his car and unlocked the towering black fence, then he got back into his car and entered the yard.
Zico put his car in a garage located right next to his house. Once the car is perfectly parked, he takes Sally out of her car.
Sally glanced at the modern-looking building of Zico's house, the courtyard was very spacious. There are trees in the right and left corners, plus green plants neatly arranged across from the entrance. It was amazing for him. Maybe Zico's house is twice as big as his house.
Zico caught up with Sally, who was at the door, pulling her suitcase. He opened the door and told Sally to come in. "Here's your suitcase, let me bring it. I want to show you your room" said Zico.
Sally, who was still carrying a suitcase and cardboard containing her goods, without saying anything, immediately gave her suitcase to Zico. He followed Zico to the second floor. Again Sally was amazed, Zico's staircase is very beautiful with a curved design that uses transparent glass as a barrier on the edge. It is not surprising, Zico who is a great artist must have a big house. But he did not expect the design to be this good.
"This is your room, deck out my same room. My room's at the right end of your room, so if you need anything say it's there." Zico pointed at the room located not far from his room.
After Sally understood, Zico opened the empty room. He pulled Sally's suitcase and placed it right in front of a large cupboard about two meters high.
Sally was still paying attention to every corner of the room that was going to be her room, very large even bigger than her room.
"Lo can use all the items that are here or anywhere, just don't touch my stuff that is in my room. Oh yeah, the kitchen's downstairs, you can cook there later. The fridge is full, so you can use it to cook. Just for today you do not need to cook, I know you are still shocked by the events earlier. Lo mending a break now." Zico explained at length, so that Sally would not be confused.
Sally just nodded slowly. If usually Sally talks a lot and asks a lot, this time she is more silent. In addition to being tired, he had not completely forgotten about the incident.
"Jude, I'm staying first. Oh yes, about the honeymoon I think I will cancel. I'm afraid it will happen again, so I guess mending spending the rest of my vacation here." After saying that Zico left Sally and stepped towards her room.
Sally closed her bedroom door, then opened her suitcase. In silence he began to tidy his clothes into the closet, after which he also cleaned his things. As soon as it was over, Sally stepped into her bed and sat down on the edge of the bed. He rolled his sleeve up to his elbow, where he realized his hand was bleeding. Although he was able to avoid the gun bullet, but the glass shrapnel that was broken by the bullet was thrown and hit it.
Sally opened her headscarf to see if she was hurt, and she stepped into the large mirror in the closet. Long hair that dangled until his waist was visible from the glass of the closet. He began to see what was making his face hurt. Sally was wide-eyed to see her forehead that had been covered in her veil seemed to be scratched quite deeply, just as she felt pain.
Sensing the blood dripping from her forehead, Sally rushed to look for medicines in her suitcase. But he did not find it, but he was sure he had put drugs in his suitcase.
"Sal!"
The sound of someone also the sound of the door opening made Sally turn around, she was surprised to see Zico who suddenly opened the door without knocking first. Then Sally reflex turned around, she felt embarrassed because she was currently removing her hijab. He took his suitcase to cover his head, even though he knew it was in vain.
Zico was surprised to see Sally for the first time without wearing a hijab, because Sally had never removed her veil in front of her. "Sorry," said Zico unsavory.
Zico had just wanted to get out of Sally's room again, but was snuffed out when his eyes saw Sally's hand bleed. Instead of going out, Zico stepped closer to Sally.
"Zicoo, get out!" squealing Sally was upset when she heard the sound of Zico's footsteps getting closer.
Zico kept going until he stopped right in front of Sally, crouched down and grabbed Sally's hand. "Hand why? You didn't get the bullet, did you?" zico asked as he looked at Sally's hand that was scratched deep enough, to continue bleeding.
Sally was still covering her face with her suitcase. "No, this is okay. I can take care of this myself, you're out."
Zico took Sally's suitcase which the woman used to cover it, then put it behind her. He was even more surprised to see Sally's forehead which was also bleeding. "Why is that also why? You don't really have to, do you?!" ask Zico to Sally.
Sally let out a sigh of resignation, she no longer tried to cover her head. Free Zico had already taken his suitcase, he had already seen it. "I didn't get the bullet, it's like I got a piece of car glass that was thrown because of the gunfire. It's just a small wound anyway, I can cure myself."
"Little wound, this is just his blood moving on. Why don't you tell me, anyway." Zico said annoyed, he pulled Sally's hand slowly and took her to the bathroom in the room.
Zico turns on the faucet in the sink, grabs Sally's injured hand and puts it under running water. Letting the blood on Sally's hands be swept away by the water, and then cleaning it with soap.
Sally grimaced feeling the pain she had in her hand.
"Hold it for a while" said Zico, who saw Sally holding back the pain in her hand.
As soon as Sally's hand was cleaner than the blood, Zico turned on Sally's forehead. He cleaned the blood on Sally's forehead using water and soap, then turned off the sink after cleaning Sally's wound.
"Udah clean, stay diobatin. Just sit down, let me get the cure." Zico left after saying that to Sally.
Sally sat on the sofa across from her bed. He looked at his scratched hand more visibly, after the blood had been cleaned. The wound left a trace deep enough, it might leave a pain after this.
Zico returned with bandages and antibiotics in his hands. He sat down next to Sally, then put the bandage and the antibiotics she was carrying on the table. He began to busy applying antibiotic cream on Sally's hands painstakingly.
Sally biting her lower lip held back the pain that was again creeping. He turned his eyes from his hands to Zico's face. He nodded to Zico who looked serious about treating his wounds. Sometimes he does not understand Zico, because the nature of the man is changing. Sometimes he's nice, but sometimes he's also annoying and stubborn.
Sally turned her eyes back, she did not want to be caught looking at Zico's face. Want to put where his face will be, maybe the man gets bigger head.
Sally who felt she was being watched, turned back. He looked at Zico, who was also staring at him. But not long, he turned his eyes back and cleared his throat slowly to ward off awkwardness. While Zico, he reflexively turned his face away as soon as he heard Sally cleared her throat.
Zico let out a long breath, before finally refocusing on treating Sally's forehead. He applied the antibiotic cream quickly, after which he placed a plaster on the wound.
"Udah is done" Zico said after he finished treating Sally's wounds.
"Thank you, sorry to take nicotine." Sally replied that she could have treated her own wounds without Zico's help if the man hadn't forced her.
Zico nodded slowly. "I'm sorry, because I'm a kayak gini."
Sally then shook her head to hear Zico's words. "No, it's nobody's fault. It was his fate like this, thank God we still survived the event."
Zico smiled faintly and nodded. "Thank you too you already nolongin me at that time, if not for lo .. I think I could have fainted and thumped until I died," said Zico.
"What the hell, don't think so ugly." Sally replied in annoyance.
Zico chuckled at hearing it. "Lo's worried about me? Afraid that I'm okay," Zico's tease.
Sally turned her face away, she shook her head firmly. "Who is worried, only afraid. If you pass out, I'll be the next target" Sally said.
Zico laughed again, because Sally's answer with her expression not aligned. "As far as you go, I already know this if you're worried about me."
Sally stared intently at Zico, she was just about to reply to Zico. However, when he heard Zico's phone ringing.
Zico took his phone out of his pocket, as soon as he saw the name on his screen he moved away from Sally. He immediately raised the call without waiting for long.
"Hello" Zico told the man opposite him.
"Zico, can you not come to my house now? I-"
Not yet finished someone's speech on his phone, Zico cut it off as soon as he heard the person's cry. "What's wrong with you, Al? Any issues?" ask Zico to panic.
The man again wept, as if he had no power to answer. Zico felt increasingly panicked, afraid of anything happening. "I'm going there now, you wait. Don't go anywhere" said Zico, then quickly shut down the connection.
Zico turned around and stepped towards Sally. "Gue wants to get out first, you just rest here." Zico was about to leave, but Sally stopped him.
"Where are you going?" ask Sally.
Zico turned around and looked at Sally's face expressionlessly. "Gue where it's none of your business, we've agreed not to interfere with each other." After saying that Zico again continued his steps in haste.
Sally looked at Zico in silence, watching the panicked-looking man. He heard a glimpse of Zico's conversation. Judging from his tone, it seemed like Zico was talking to the woman and was about to go to the woman.
Sally smiled softly, she realized she was nobody. He had no power to prevent Zico from meeting the woman, even though she seemed to be very valuable to Zico.
Sally knew from the beginning if she married Zico, it does not mean she can have Zico's heart. They only married on the basis of their own interests, but he did not know why his heart seemed to hurt to see Zico care for other women.
Whether his admiration for Zico, before he knew the man still lay in his heart or not. What he realized seemed like Zico's little concerns affected his heart a little.
Sally shook her head, trying to deny the pain in her heart. "I can't like Zico anymore, he'll never get me. Even after marriage, her heart will never be mine."
The roar of the car made Sally move from the sofa and step towards the balcony of her room. He held a rebuttal on the balcony and watched Zico open the fence. The man looked panicked and wanted to leave quickly, as if he did not want to make the woman who called Zico wait for a long time.
As soon as Zico's car came out of his yard, he closed the fence again and quickly got into his car. Not long after the car passed quickly away from Sally's sight, until it was no longer visible.
A drop of clear water fell on Sally's cheek, but she quickly brushed it off. He stepped back into his room. He closed the balcony door and sat behind the balcony door, smothering his mouth to hold back his tears, but failed. The crying just broke, Sally knew she shouldn't have to cry for Zico. He should have realized that if Sally was just a stranger in Zico's life, they were married not out of love.
It was impossible for him to have Zico, because up to any time the man would never love him. Only five months of his time with Zico, after which the man would definitely continue his life back to normal without thinking about it. Sally must not put her feelings more, because soon this relationship will also end.
Sally wiped away her rough tears, she stood up while calming her feelings. From now on, he will continue his days with Zico without involving feelings. Whatever Zico's behavior that makes him melt will be diverted, so that his heart does not fall back. His feelings are not too deep, he should still be able to switch so as not to go deeper on Zico.
Sally nodded with confidence, believing that she was able to face this marriage until it ended later. He will try to forget his feelings and live his marriage without involving his heart. Sally was sure she could deal with it.
