"Lucas!!"

Serra was surprised to see Lucas appear in front of her. Did he see everything? Did she see what she just did? Then how will he judge her after this? Serra really doesn't know how Lucas will judge him, he can only pray that the man doesn't see everything.

The show's over. All the invited guests flocked to leave the party hall, including Serra and Lucas. Since it was past midnight, it would not be wrong if Serra started to be unable to maintain her consciousness. Seen several times he yawned holding back the drowsiness.

Lucas and Serra are both shocked when they feel a loud bang, Lucas cradles his body when the car they are riding in overturns several times. Suddenly they felt the earth spinning and everything being turned upside down.

The black sedan overturned after avoiding the crash with a fully loaded truck advancing from the opposite direction. The driver swerved to the right and instead made the car overturned several times and dragged until meters forward.

Lucas who was still half conscious heard the sound of glass breaking and moaning from the front, from the steering chair more precisely. Then his gaze turned to Serra who was unconscious in his arms. There was not the slightest injury to his face, due to Lucas' embrace protecting him. But his legs are not okay, his legs are pinched.

"Serra, wake. Tell me if you're okay" Lucas said, patting Serra on the cheek. But there was no answer, and it made Lucas very panicked and quick.

Seeing the crowd in-sana, Lucas immediately asked them for help to escape his wife and driver to the hospital.

And Lucas won't forgive himself if anything bad happens to Serra. He will also hunt down people who have caused this accident until they can and retaliate accordingly.

Serra tried to move her body but could not. And it freaked him out, then his gaze rolled on Lucas. "Lu, what's wrong with my leg? Why can't it be moved?" Serra asked with a trembling voice.

Lucas clasped Serra's hand and locked his gaze. "Serra, you can't walk anymore. You, you're in paralysis. Your legs are pinched and that's what makes you paralyzed!!"

As if struck by lightning during the day, Serra's heart was shattered into pieces hearing Lucas' words. Her tears could not be contained anymore, Serra cried so badly.

"No, Lu. I don't want to be paralyzed, I don't want to be a useless person. I don't want to, I want my legs to be normal again. I want to be able to walk again, I don't want to be paralyzed!!"

Lucas held Serra tightly. Blending the woman spilled all her sadness on her shoulder. Lucas's chin rested on Serra's brown head.

Suddenly the woman lifted her face from Lucas' embrace and found a bandage rubbing her left eye. Serra hadn't noticed it since. The bandage was also wrapped around his forehead, there were blood spots on the surface of the bandage.

Lucas nodded. "Yes, Honey. The accident made me lose my left eye, there was a piece of glass that went in and stabbed it causing severe bleeding." Lucas.

Serra smiled blandly. "What that means now that we're both an imperfect couple. Isn't this very funny," Serra bit her lower lip to dampen her stuffing. Lucas once again took Serra into his arms and held her as before.

Both of Serra's parents and her brother are currently overseas. That's why they didn't appear at the hospital accompanying Serra. But that doesn't mean Lucas hasn't contacted them, and it's likely that the three of them are already on their way home.
