Serra who was busy arranging flowers was shocked and confused when Lucas handed her two tickets. The shape is like a luxury invitation with a shiny gold colored ribbon.

The woman then got up from her seat and looked at Lucas questioningly. "We and our family will go out to sea on a cruise ship. Not only the two of us, but the entire Jung family and the twins will come along too." Lucas explained.

"Wow, it looks like it's going to be a really fun trip." Serra smiled broadly.

"Ge, can I take Grandpa Xiao and the others to sail with all of us?!" The cry of Daniel who was out of nowhere suddenly came between Serra and Lucas.

"There's no need to bring those bastards!! It will only be troublesome!!" Lucas replied.

The twins nodded. "Of course not, Ge. We both dare to vouch for it. And there's no point in us bringing them along. Itung-itung we have free freight." Deriel.

Lucas looked at his twin sisters with an unreadable look. It seems like the two of them have a good plan for those fellows. And it looks like Lucas has no other choice but to allow the twins to take the four of them.

A grand plan they had prepared for Grandpa Xiao and his minions. And it's not the twins if they don't have the incredible ideas to put them all in a difficult situation. And no one knows what their plans are this time around other than the two of them and God alone.

Serra approached Lucas and patted him on the shoulder. The man's attention is now on her. "Are you sure you're gonna take the four of them to come with us?" Ask Serra to make sure. Lucas nodded, he seemed sure of his decision. "But what if they make trouble and put us all in danger?!" Serra looked worried.

Lucas holds the side of Serra's face and locks Hazel's eyes. "You take it easy, I know my sisters well. They certainly have a plan to deal with them later. So you don't have to worry about anything." Lucas said convincingly.

"Right as well, and I heard that they both got Grandpa Xiao and the others really in no light trouble, yes even though I don't know what the two of them have done." Serra said at length.

"Not to be discussed anymore. Fast forward, mama and papa are waiting for you."

"really?" Lucas nodded.

Serra's eyes twinkled at the arrival of her parents. Regardless of Lucas, the woman left the backyard and went to see her parents. It just so happened that Serra had already missed them both so much.

Lucas snorted and shook at his wife's behavior. So many things that he did not find in other women but in Serra. She was indeed different from most of the women Lucas had met all along.

The man walked behind Serra. Once again Lucas shook his head to see Serra's childlike behavior.

"Remember your age, Serra Xiao!!" Lucas shouted from behind.

Serra looked at Lucas. "Let it go, anyway I'm spoiled by Mama herself. Mama doesn't mind, why are you the sewot!!" Serra replied. Serra hugged Madam Jung tightly. "Yes, Ma." Serra raised her head and looked at the mother. Madam Jung nodded.

"Just leave it, Lu. There are important things that Papa wants to talk to you about" said Mr. Jung who was later replied by a nod by Lucas. The two then leave Serra and Madame Jung.

And here they are now. They were both in Lucas' office. Lucas himself had no idea what important matter Mr. Jung wanted to talk to him about. Maybe it has something to do with Serra's foster family.

"What's up, Pa? It seems very important" said Lucas and invited Mr. Jung to sit down.

"Yes, this is about Jessica's foster family. Can you investigate them, Lu? Papa wants to know what kind of family they are, to the point of being so brave as to treat my daughter badly." Said Mr. Jung.

Lucas nodded. "This matter Papa doesn't need to worry, I've asked someone to investigate about the family's background. Sooner or later we'll know it" Lucas assures.

Without Mr. Jung asking for anything, of course Lucas had definitely investigated about them. They are not a family that has any influence in the world of business. There was no important connection they had let alone the highest and influential position.

Valentino's surname itself is a little foreign to Lucas, he did get an offer of cooperation from a small company called Valentino Group. But Lucas refused, because it did not fit the project he wanted.

"Alright, this matter will Papa leave it to you. You are the most reliable, Lucas Xiao. Papa is proud to have a son and daughter-in-law like you." Said Mr. Jung while patting Lucas on the shoulder.

"Thank you for believing in me, Pa." Lucas said, unraveling a paper-thin smile.

The Jung and Xiao families have been friends for a long time, even since the days of their ancestors. There was never any hostility between the two families.

And the friendship between them persisted until this moment, moreover, the two great families were now bound in a closer relationship than ever. The marriage of Lucas and Serra.

Previously Lucas and Mr. Jung had never been in a chat at all. Because of Mr. Jung's circumstances, let alone to interact, even to speak he is not able to.

But a miracle happened to the father of two during his first meeting with Serra two weeks ago.

A man rose from his chair and walked up to the battered-looking man. "Did you forget the risk you'd have to take if you dared to stab me in the back?!" Said the man while gripping the jaw of the man in front of him.

"What I did to you, I didn't even report what you did to the police." Said the man who was none other than Rocky.

"You ask me what you've done to me?! You think I don't know what you've done behind my back, you meet your ex-boss and go back to work with him. You don't seem to love them anymore!!"

Then the man pointed back. Rocky's eyes widened perfectly to see the children tied to a rope, their bodies hanging on a wooden board with a large cauldron filled with boiling water just below them.

Rocky shook his head, he stared at the man intently. "Let go!! Those kids have nothing to do with this, but why are you even involving them?!" Rocky's snapping is full of emotion.

"His life is in your hands. Let them go if you can. And you're only an hour from now, if in an hour you can't save them. Then get ready to see how the big cauldron will vault those tiny bodies!!"
