Chapter 17

In a meeting room, internal representatives of staff from each company division appear to circle the glass-lined rectangular meeting table. The meeting, led by Sean, began an hour ago.

For a moment Sean seemed to think, then he glanced towards the pink colored bag that was still lying on the sofa of the room.

"Tell them my apologies because I can't be at the banquet right now" Sean said, taking a nod to David's head as a sign of understanding.

"I'll excuse you, sir, then" David's permission to resign.

"Wait a minute" Sean prevented David's move towards the exit with his voice.

David thundered his body towards Sean.

"Yes Sir?"

"There's one task you have to do for me" Sean took the breakfast from Allesya and opened it. "Come closer" Sean said.

"What do you think of this food?" Sean slightly shifted the food box towards David.

David slightly smiled before answering. "This food looks so delicious sir," its value.

"You sure this food is delicious?"

"I can't be completely sure, sir, because I only judge from his form, not from his taste" replied David who was quite reasonable.

"Then you taste this food" Sean told David.

"Okay sir," said David who was always obedient to every order of his master but frankly he was a little doubt about the taste of the food in front of him.

Try to think logically. If the food is indeed delicious, where perhaps the Master seemed hesitant and asked him to taste it first. In essence, David was aware that he was being made a guinea pig by his master.

Not wanting to make his Master wait too long, David took out one piece of egg roll with his hand and put it in his mouth.

"Hows it? Does it taste good?" Sean was very curious about David's answer.

David was slightly stunned to hear his Master ask again.

"R-taste good sir," David replied with a face-to-face look as if holding something back.

"Okay sir," David nodded briefly before finally retreating. From his steps that seem hastily it is believed David wants to immediately vomit the food of the new planet creature he swallowed before the stomach ache visited.

After David's body was lost swallowed by the door, Sean again observed the breakfast provisions that look neatly arranged and beautiful and intend to eat it as a lunch menu.

"It looks like the bar-bar girl was telling the truth. David said the food was good. All right," the monologue Sean then stuffed as much food into his mouth.

Sean suddenly coughed because he felt the stinging sensation of his taste buds. The predominant taste of chili powder made his tongue burn.

He grabbed a glass of water on his desk and immediately swallowed it a few times.

"Bad David, how dare he lie to me," said Sean upset while cursing himself.

He could have just believed David's words. He should have realized from the beginning that something was wrong with the food when he saw David did not immediately swallow the food he had eaten earlier.

"To be sure, his cooking this time was much worse than before," Sean grumbled but still tried to swallow his food.

As if not yet kapok, the handsome man was increasingly curious about the taste of other foods. He continued to taste the fried sausage shaped like an octopus overheated because it took too long to sunbathe, hoping the taste will be a little different.

Sean seemed to tear apart his provisions using a spoon, sorting out which foods he could still eat.
