Young Single Mom's
Check the.

"Hallo ra ?."

"Hallo Ayya, why ?."

"Are you in East Java now ?."

"Yes, brother."

"It just so happens that I was also assigned to the branch office of Jatim nih."

"Eh really, brother? Seriously ?."

"Yes, send me your address ! I'll be there."

"Okay, sister, yes."

"Sip bye, see ya."

There are finally friends in the city. It feels calmer if there is something to share with each other I do not alone anymore.

* * *

I searched the address information of the nearest practice midwife through a search on google. Apart from Google, I also asked my neighbors. Because it's time I checked my pregnancy. After getting some information, I plan to immediately go to the midwife of the practice.

Tok tok...

As he was preparing - preparing to go to the midwife - someone came.

Chequek...!

"Kaaaak ! Kirain who, I'm surprised !."

"Who are you in the same house ?."

"Self, this is going to the midwife."

"Lohh want to check ? I'm anterin yuk !."

"May, he said it was a place for deket."

Ayya and I searched the address of the midwife my new neighbor told me with the help of google maps. It was so close to my house that it didn't take us long to get there. I immediately walked closer to the building, but before entering someone was approaching me.

"I'm sorry mba, we're temporarily closed."

"Loh ? open again when, ma'am?."

"Not yet to know, depending on the situation covid-19 this mba."

"Oh that ? If midwives other than here where else is ma'am still open?."

"To my knowledge the county midwife here closed all mba. We minimize the transmission of the virus. Try to go directly to the puskesmas or Rs."

"That's why thank you so much ma'am."

"Yes, I'm both very sorry, mba."

"It's not papa ma'am." I'm very disappointed that all midwives don't want to serve pregnancy checks.

"We tried to go to clinic A first ! if you go to the puskesmas afraid it's too crowded."

"OK on my brother." Ayya reapplied her car to the clinic, but unfortunately when she arrived at clinic A there was no doctor on duty.

"Where is my brother?."

"Yes to maternity clinic B try yuk ?." We headed to clinic B with great hope. But the result is the same.

"I'm sorry ma'am, today the doctor didn't come. Must be booked a week before." That's what one of the employees at clinic B said.

"Decet here is Clinic C. Ra. Want to try it there?."

"You brother yuk !." It turns out that in clinic C there is also no doctor on duty. Perhaps Covid's condition causes some doctors to temporarily stop serving.

I am very sad to remember this hard just to know the condition of my pregnancy.

"We try to go to Maternity Hospital if that's Ra ! There must be a doctor on duty."

"Well try brother, later if there is also no we go home anyway." I'm not happy with Ayya who faithfully drove me here and there patiently. He must be tired, so I decided to try again.

We went around from morning and arrived at the hospital in the afternoon. The time has also shown at 5 pm. The hospital looks pretty crowded. This time I think there must be hope.

Ayya and I immediately agreed on the instructions of the security. We were both a little surprised to see a long line. I got the 60th queue number and looked at the monitor that had the number 8, which meant that the check queue had taken place.

The waiting room was quite large but felt crowded so many patients who came to check. Ayya looks in and out because she can not stand the heat of the temperature in the waiting room.

After a long wait, my number was finally called. Not to be checked, but to fill out the registration.

"Mba's been injecting Hb yet?."

"I don't think it's yet mba."

"What blood was drawn ?."

"Not yet."

"If Hb's test isn't in the lab, it's just here again." I went back to my seat to get to Ayya.

"So I have to inject Hb. But you know, right ? I'm most afraid of getting hixed."

"Hahaha no papa Ra ! Let's go to me." Ayya is still very patiently accompanying me to inject Hb. For what sake my body trembles not play so scared. My left hand continued to hold tightly onto Ayya's arm and placed my right hand on the table preparing to battle with the syringe.

I submitted my Hb test results to the nurse on duty and waited for another queue for quite a while.

At about 21:00, my number was finally called. With a quick step I immediately entered the doctor's room.

"Please put down the mother's body." said a nurse who accompanied the doctor.

He smeared my stomach with a gel-shaped liquid that felt cold on top of my stomach. The doctor then pressed my stomach with the help of a device that could be seen from the computer that was right in front of me.

Jedug. The sound of my baby's heartbeat that I've always missed. It felt so happy to hear his heartbeat. Both of my eyes automatically shed tears, not forgetting that my lips also smiled at hearing it.

"His heart rate is normal ma'am, his water is also quite, his position is good, his size is normal according to his age."

"The gender, doc?."

"Not yet to look ma'am. maybe later in the 7th month the mother check again can only be seen."

"Ah well doc." The nurse cleaned my stomach and I got out of bed.

"This is my prescription for folic acid and calcium, ma'am."

"All right, thank you doc." I immediately walked out of the room to the cashier to pay for the examination fee as well as the recipe.

"Totally 1 million mothers."

"Ah i-yya." In my heart I murmured because the rates were so expensive it was just a check. Previously when checking only spent 500k of the most expensive.

"Is there money you ra ?."

"There's no brother."

"This is the normal rate so this is mba?." Ayya asked the cashier curiously.

"No ma'am. This is because covid, it is difficult to find a doctor who will be on duty. So we have to raise the rates."

"Ohh pantesan." Ayya nodded her head looking understood.

"It's a lot of Ra." Ayya whispered to me. I just nodded my head assent to Ayya.

After all the payments were done we both went straight back home.

"You just want to come here, brother ! It's malem loh....

Seriate.
