Just seeing Dave regularly come to a bar makes Allen fall in love and want to be close to him. Allen always sees the chaotic Dave sad alone until he wants to be there for him even for a little while. Until the night that Dave was so drunk and lonely he wanted a woman's body to comfort him that night.
