Darren looked around in a daze. He is currently in a beautiful lake, a place he never even visited. His eyes danced there and here looking for someone he could ask about where he was at this moment, but not a single person passed by. Walking up to a chair in the lake, Darren sat himself there shutting his eyes, enjoying the wind that swept his skin.
The sound of footsteps clearly made Darren open his eyes and look back. His eyes were perfectly rounded when he saw who was stepping closer to him. Slowly Darren rose from his seat with a view that never separated from the figure.
The man's eyes glazed over, a wistful smile etched on his handsome face. Darren stood stiffly waiting for the figure to approach him. The tube stiffened perfectly when the figure was already standing nearby, his hand outstretched stroking the face of the figure. A soft smile grew on his face, he pulled the figure into his arms.
"I miss you, El."
Elena, the figure who is now in Darren's arms. A graceful figure with a beautiful white dress dangling. A sweet smile never faded from her beautiful face, a smile that became a opium of a Devan.
Darren broke his embrace, he gently rubbed Elena's face again. He still could not believe Elena was standing before him. Her tears dripped making Elena shake while smiling sweetly. His hand wiped the trace of Darren's tears gently.
"Don't cry," he said gently while shaking gently.
"This is really you? It's not a dream, is it?" ask Darren while crying.
Elena chuckled then shook her head slowly. Her hands stretched out to tidy up Darren's hair. Meanwhile, Darren did not take his eyes off Elena. She was scared when she turned her eyes Elena disappeared.
"Why? Why are you being like this? The Darren I know isn't weak, is he? Till when? How long do you pretend to be happy in front of our children? You're not tired?" Darren was silent, hearing Elena's words.
"Hey, you deserve to be happy. You deserve to have happiness. Not because of my departure, you continue to live in isolation. Someday Cellyn will get married, your parents will get older. Who, who's gonna take care of you, hm? Me, I won't be able to. Who will be accompanying you? I won't calm down there, if you're not happy" Elena continued.
"Ta—but I just love you, El," said Darren.
He smiled gently. "Open your heart, open to other women. Find a companion that can accompany you to old, a companion that can love Cellyn. Cellyn needs a mother. No matter how big she is, no matter how old she is, she will still need the figure of a mother. I beg you to get married, huh? Find the right partner" Elena said.
"But, you?" sahut Darren heavy.
"Hey, I'll be happy here as long as the people I love are happy too. You, Cellyn, Father, Mother, all of you must be happy. If you are happy, I will be happy too. Cellyn's an adult, take care of her. Take care of him from the real guy, huh? I'm putting our son to you, I'm sure you can take care of him. I'm saying goodbye, huh? Take care of yourself*."
"ELENA!!"
...***...
Darren was daydreaming in his room. His dream last night made himself think, Elena's request for him to get married again was quite disturbing his mind. Forgetting Elena is certainly not an easy thing, Elena is everything to Darren. His love for Elena cannot even be expressed through words, for Darren an Elena is more than his love.
Darren leaned his body against the chair, he squeezed his hair in frustration. He didn't know what to do, but he had to get married. Darren would do anything for Elena, but not at Elena's request. It's hard for Darren to beat Elena up, he has promised to marry once in his lifetime.
Darren opened his eyes when he heard the door open. The look on his face turned flat. Darren played the pen in his hand with a clear look that was holding back anger.
"Nata, I have told you, I am not accepting guests at this time" said Darren without looking at the door.
He quickly got up from sitting. "Dark? Why are you here?"
"Sorry, Sir. I've banned this mother, but she's chuckling. He said he wanted to give lunch for Father," said Nata made the Atensi Darren and Sekar turned to him.
Darren sighed harshly. He can not even calm down for a day, if not work that disturbs him then others. He just needs time
for himself, but it was quite impossible for him.
"Hm, no papa. You're back at work now." Nata only nodded at Darren's orders.
After Nata exited Darren's room, he walked over to Darren. Hugging Darren tightly, Darren only sighed before finally returning Sekar's embrace. Darren was silent when Sekar kissed her cheek long enough.
"Kangen, hehe ...," said Sekar with his signature grin.
"You always miss me, Kar," Darren replied lazily.
Sekar grunting. "Friendly friends, don't!"
Meanwhile, outside the room, Nata snorted in annoyance. Sekar's attitude that forced his way in made him annoyed half to death. Plus Darren who actually allows Sekar into his room.
"Who the hell is a girl?!"
Nata stomped his legs irritated and then sat back at his desk. The look on his face was very upset, his mouth did not stop spouting. He was really upset by the presence of Sekar.
"Araghhhh! I why the hell? Why don't I like seeing Mr. Darren with other girls?" ask him to yourself.
Nata picked up the blank paper in annoyance that the woman had crossed out the paper and tore it into small pieces. Nata grabbed her hair irritated, she really did not understand the feelings she had now.
"Aish! What the hell am I?!"
While in the room, there was Darren who was staring at Sekar gently. The man walked over to Sekar who was sitting on his sofa. He looked at Sekar with a faint smile. Now the man was near Sekar, the woman who had the status of his best friend.
She hugged Darren tightly. "I love you, Ren. You must know that, don't you," he said.
Darren sighed. He knew very well that his best friend put more flavor, but he only considered Sekar as his best friend. He does not want to be trapped in a deeper relationship with his best friend.
"And you also know I never thought of you as more than a friend, Sekar."
