Chapters 14. Roy And Alexa

"Alexa ... !" Roy shouted loudly calling out the name of his youngest daughter when he had just set foot in the living room. In fact, Roy's thunderous voice made Elisha who was in the kitchen immediately ran outside.

"Sister, what's up, anyway? Why yell?" Elisha approached Roy who looked very emotional. Anyway, it's not usual for Roy to come home early like this.

"Where's Alexa, El? Is he home!" car Roy was impatient. He wanted to see the girl immediately to ask for an explanation of the mess she was doing today.

"What's wrong with Alexa, brother? What's going on?"

Roy did not reply, but instead got up while pulling the tie wrapped around his neck violently.

Elisa was suspicious when she saw Alexa's face that looked gloomy when she returned from the office earlier. But Elisha had not asked the girl anything.

"Yes ..." Alexa was a little daunted by the look in her father's sharp eyes, as if she wanted to swallow him alive.

"Explain, what are you doing, Alexa Andreas!" Roy's gaze sharpened even more, looking at the figure of the girl standing in front of him.

Roy closed both his eyes. His hand twitched his temple which suddenly throbbed pain. Roy still doesn't understand what Alexa is doing today. Why can Alexa even mess up in the location that is planned to be made a mall building by some of his men.

"I can't let them go from that place, Dad. Because they ..."

"Pity them, Dad. Don't you have a little conscience to let them stay there?"

Roy doesn't believe what Alexa says. While Elisha who has not fully understood the conversation between father and son, only able to silence without knowing what to do.

"Do you know how much loss we'll incur if the project fails?"

During managing the company of the in-laws, Roy has never once failed them, and this time Roy will not let it happen.

"Where will they live, Dad? It's the only place they have."

The action that Alexa does today is quite heroic. Because actually the five men not only want to review the location, but also have brought some heavy equipment that might be used to destroy the building that still stands on the ground.

But, all must be done because of the emergence of Alexa. Even two out of five men who do not know who exactly Alexa had a chance to bicker and push Alexa until the girl had a blister at the elbow. However, they immediately ran away and chose to leave the place after finding out if Alexa is a descendant of the Andreas family itself.

Of course it became an amazing spectacle for the inhabitants of the region, Andi was no exception. The man was also there and helped Alexa talk to them, lucky still none of them know the true identity of Alexa.

The failed review certainly made Roy angry. Especially after knowing the cause was her own youngest daughter.

'Sorry, we have to fail. All because of your own daughter, said one of the five men who are their leaders.

'What!' Roy immediately turned away in disbelief.

'What do you mean?' Roy immediately gripped the collar of the man's shirt with emotion.

'Your daughter is there, and foils our work.'

"I can't let them get out of there, Dad. I beg ... let them occupy that land," Alexa said again. Alexa's body is shed. The girl knelt down in front of her father, begging the man for mercy to consider his request.

"Relse ... " Elisha whispered softly. The woman rubbed her husband's shoulder slowly. He could not bear to see Alexa like this, but Elisha could not do much either, because the decision remained in the hands of the husband.

"Sorry, but this time, I can't grant your wish! I hope you no longer interfere in my affairs, let alone mess it up!" roy said firmly, as he passed leaving Alexa's room.
