YOU'RE MY LIGHT
The past (2)
Rey is pensive to remember what happened yesterday afternoon with her new neighbor. That girl is sweet but a little crazy. He laughed to himself. And Rey doesn't feel threatened or scared at all about Lia. Quite the opposite, he wanted to get closer to the sweet girl.
“Rey, Mom enter yes,”
“Come in Bu.”
Nina brought a glass of white milk for her son to drink before going to bed.
“You look radiant, what is it?’’ ask the Mother.
“Neighbor next door is his beautiful son.”
My mother smiled too. “She is not beautiful. But sweet.”
Rey agreed. “But he's a little spooky Bu,” he said seriously but was considered joking by his mother.
“No, he's a good boy. But lately he has become quiet since the death of his father. Make friends with him so he can be cheerful again. Kasian Ibu Lisa.”
Many questions Rey wants to ask the mother about Lia's condition especially about the incident of the girl's father's death. But his intentions are broken. Instead it was used as a reference to be close to the girl. She has to find out what really happened to Lia. That sweet girl.
“Yes already, spend the milk then go to sleep. Tomorrow should be school.” Rey nodded and waved as the mother closed the door.
While devising a plan to befriend Lia, Rey turned to the window and almost cried out when she saw the figure of a long-haired girl in a casual white dress staring up at the sky.
“Ah, basic! Scaring it.” Grouse Rey. He started to get down from the bed to the window of his room opposite Lia's house.
There the sweet girl was looking straight in one direction. Rey followed his view. It's beautiful Rey muttered. Right now they were both staring at the beautiful bright object in the sky that was the moon.
Rey turned to look at Lia's window. The girl is gone. “Ah, fuck. I shouldn't be confused with the moon. Even across there is much more beautiful.”
Is this what you call falling in love with a brother? Oh please, falling in love this early almost makes anyone go crazy. Alright. Back to this story.
Rey still hopes Lia shows up once more there. “I beg you, come up.” Hopefully.
And yes, Lia actually showed up. But unexpectedly the girl brought a knife and pointed it towards Rey.
Rey smiled. “Ah, why did she become even more adorable when acting like that?’’
Lia's gaze was sharpening from the opposite direction. Rey crossed her thumb and index finger to form love there. Faintly Rey saw the motion of Lia's lips was swearing. Rey laughed satisfied and returned to her bed.
“Ah, cute once she.”

November 11th, 2000
Rey knocks on Lia's house. Lisa opened and with a very happy look welcomed the son of her best friend.
“Halo Mother-in-law,” reply.
“Hai my daughter-in-law,” Lisa replied with a bright smile. “Oh, ralat Rey, future son-in-law means.”
Rey laughed softly. “Just Aunty. Because I really like your daughter.”
“Till you alone. You want to see Lia, right?”
“Iya, where is Tan?’’
Lisa leads Rey to Lia's room. Lisa knocks on the door and says that Rey is visiting.
“Tell him I'm sick Bu.” Reply to Lia from the room.
“Can I go to Tan?”
Lisa seemed to think and finally nodded as well. Rey was about to go inside but stopped when Lisa said something, “may I entrust Lia's happiness to you?’’
“I'm human Tan, renege on a little promise can right?’’
Lisa laughed at hearing that. He got a little bit hooked on Rey's policy. “Happy fighting my son-in-law, hahaha”
Rey took a deep breath before finally reaching for the doorknob and opening it.
“Hai,” sweep.
“Out!” snapped Lia.
The order was not, of course, written by Rey. He was approaching the direction the girl was. At first glance he saw a stack of reading books like a novel with a challenging title. There are horrors, murders, and creepy books.
“You want to be a doctor huh?’’
Lia who was upset so frowned. “What do you mean?”
“Reading and learning amazing things especially about cutting organs, not so that you become a doctor?’’
Lia gawking. “I have absolutely no interest in being a doctor. I just want to be a killer.” Say it with a face that comes back flat.
“Waw, you were great,”
“Don't be mocked or you'll be my experiment. At this hour my mother has left for work, only the two of us in this house.”
“I'm not afraid,” challenge Rey.
Lia approached, grabbed Rey's collar and pulled her hard. “Do not make me angry and want to eat you little boy,”
“You really want to play with me huh? Alright.”
Lia threw Rey's body on the floor and quickly picked up the small, sharp knife she had always kept. “You deserve to be a guinea pig,” said Lia with fog.
There is a fear that arises in Rey's mind but on the edge quickly because accidentally saw a photo of the Lia family that was plastered clearly on the walls of the room. Lia really looks very happy. Rey's mind now is that there is no way the girl can kill people, from her gaze the girl is really innocent and kind.
Unexpectedly, Lia grabbed Rey's left hand and started slashing the boy's index finger. Rey screamed too. He immediately walked away and left the girl.
“Ah, my finger,” her moans. The clear water from the corner of his eye started to come out.
“Rey!” call one of his friends on a bike.
“Sial! Fucking tears,” his curse. He passed by and did not touch the call of his other friend.
Rey returned to her house in a daze. He immediately washed his hands in the bathroom. The wound on his finger was not too wide and deep, but it had made Rey convinced that Lia had begun to master the technique of killing. Damnit damnit!
“I'll be friends with you Lia. I'm not gonna let you fall into the dark realms. I will be a light to you. Wait for me.” Then fainted.

The following days, Rey kept visiting Lia. But when the girl started getting angry and was about to pick up her flagship sharp object, Rey had already run away.
Like there's no giving up on Rey's life to get close to the girl.
December 8th, 2000
Lia is tired of throwing at boys who lately always tease her. Finally he tried to make room to talk to Rey. And yes, Rey smiled with satisfaction.
In Lia's room, by day the atmosphere was like night. Everything's dark. Now Lia and Rey are facing each other.
“What do you want?” ask Lia ketus.
“Just want to see you smile,” Rey already knows the story of this girl. Misfortune and loss make him seem lost from the light of happiness. “You know? Sadness is too cheap. Go after the expensive ones. That's happiness.” Rey cleared her throat, “ehem, Rey 8 December 2000,”
“You want to die huh?’’ threaten Lia's.
“Just want to save you from the world of darkness Lia.” Tukas Rey is serious.
Lia grieving. Then walk towards the window and open the curtain from there. Now there is light there . “I'm fine.”
‘’Means?’’
Lia smiling. “After Dad's death, I almost went crazy. I used to love reading scary stories. There is often written that if we really feel sad and lonely, we will easily meet and communicate with delicate creatures.” Lia sighed. “It doesn't. Until now a ghost nose rod was not visible.” His complaint.
“Job,”
“Why? Feel sorry for coming to me often?’’
Rey seemed to think and looked at Lia closely. He walked over and approached the girl. “Lia, are you?’’ ask rey seriously.
Lia smiled bitterly. He deliberately trapped this boy in front of him so that he could make him a guinea pig. “Of course. Yesterday I was just obsessed with wanting to be a loner and befriend a ghost.’’
Like something's stuck in Rey's heart. “I don't know what you're thinking. All I know is, since seeing you, look in your eyes asking me to help save you.” Rey gulps, “you're not well Lia.”
Hearing that, Lia lowered her head. There was truth emanating from every word Rey said. The girl closed her eyes deeply and remembered the incident that made her like this.
Lia squatted down and cried in front of the boy. “Lia,” Rey rubbed Lia's shoulder.
“My father was stabbed with a sadist to save me.”
“Tell me, I listen to you,” persuade Rey.
"That day, on my birthday, we visited one of the tourist attractions that have not been crowded in this city. Someone caught me and said, Dark is beautiful.” Lia sniffles. “Dad came and tried to take me and Mom away, but the condition of the father who had been stabbed made him not consented to drive a car.”
Rey swiped over Lia's head. “And we crash.”
Lia staring at Rey, “why? Why are you always here?’’
“I told you, just wanted to save you from your darkness and solitude.”
Lia wiped her tears. “But I'm a lousy with that killer. Dark is beautiful,”
Rey's feelings are starting to get bad. He feels weird. Moreover, looking at her Lia suddenly smiled cunningly. “You fell into my trap little boy,” Lia caught Rey's arm.
“I won't run Lia,” Rey said.
“But now that you look scared,” a terrible smile reappears on Lia's sweet face.
“Rabbit trial. Make me a guinea pig. But after that please come back to be a cheerful and cheerful sweet child. Maybe that's all that'll make your mom hold her breath on earth.”
Lia was furious, he raised his hand that had a knife there but was held for a while, “away from here, and do not try to disturb me again. I've been kind enough to give you a chance as a rabbit survivor. Go!” snapped it.
Rey smiled, “you're a good boy,” Rey said.
“I'm disgusted!” Lia stabbed Rey in the arm and pulled it out. The girl laughed wryly, “I managed to become a heartless person hahaha, you die!”
And again, Lia threw a knife into the air about to stab Rey. “But it hurts,” said Lia and threw a knife out of her hand.
“Lia, your father would be more proud if you found the man who killed him and reported to the authorities than to train yourself to be just like the murderer.” That was the last sentence Rey spoke before she fell unconscious.
