You Forgot My Wife's Son

You Forgot My Wife's Son
Chapter 42

The next day, Devan looked neatly about to leave for work. But his face looked disheveled like never before.

"Breakfast first Dev" said Mama Sarah, who was waiting for her child and husband to eat, looking at her son down the stairs. Looks lethargic not excited.

"Yes Ma" he said, then pulled a chair sitting at the dining table beside Papa Hendrik.

"Why you?" tanya Papa saw her only child, who looks not okay.

"There's nothing Pa" he said, sipping the little pure milk that Auntie had prepared.

"You know, you must be heartbroken, right?" said Mama Sarah thrust a loaf of bread at Papa Hendrik.

"Breaked heart?" Papa looked at Devan who was packing his cell phone. Devan then raised his head, looking at Papa. But not disarm.

"Yes Pa, she likes Kartika, she thinks Kartika's widow has one child, but." Mama shook her head, not believing that her son's love was unrequited.

"What?" Papa looked at Devan sharply. "Don't you try Dev, hearing you like widows Papa already disagrees, what else is married woman? want to know where Papa's face is in front of business associates!" papa's voice is high.

"Pa" said Mama. Do not want Papa to add to the sadness of his child.

"Devan leaves, Ma, Pa" kisses the back of Mama's hand and leaves.

A month later, Angga rarely entered the office of Diana Group. He also, started a new business, received electronic equipment service services. It is in the same shop next to Kartika. Rangga wants to always be close to his son and wife. Kartika has not given him the green light.

A BMW, slipping slowly but surely, headed to the office to meet Rudy.

"Rud, tomorrow gather the employees, invite the board of directors, we will hold a company meeting. To find a new director." insisted Angga.

"I mean boss, will the boss resign?" asked Rudy looking closely at his boss. He is busy in front of the computer.

"Yes" he answered briefly.

"But why boss? doesn't the boss own half of the company?" Rudy surprised.

"I will return this company to the rightful" he said without hesitation.

"But this company was not this big as the boss, the company went because of the boss's hard work." Rudy looked disappointed at Angga's decision.

"My decision, Rud's unanimous, I will take care of the divorce suit to Diana."

"Boss? you sure?" Rudy frowned.

"You don't talk too much, keep moving forward, help this company, get ahead with the new leader!" angga.

Angga then left, leaving Rudy without speaking again, heading for the parking lot. Back the starter of his car to the residence of in-laws who he had not visited for a month.

He was determined to make peace with the beautiful mass. It should have turned the direction of leaving the present no longer want to go through a steep journey.

"Good day Ma" he said.

Rangga took a deep breath. Staring at Mama Uly, it was actually only this woman who made him survive with Diana until now.

His lips were clenched his tongue was a hoax to speak, a plan he had arranged in such a way as to be remembered, as if lost staring at the innocent face in front of him. Mama Uly is not just a father-in-law. He has given color to his life. Mama Uly is like a surrogate for her dead mother.

"What's up, son?" Mama Uly who continues to be seen by her daughter-in-law and starts talking.

"Sorry Ma, Rangga here wants to deliver this letter." Rangga handed the envelope to Mama as the company's board of directors.

With trembling hands Mama opened the envelope, wearing the minus glasses she placed on the table. Connecting both sides of the ear. Then read the letter.

"What's? you're gonna resign from the company?" Mom's surprised. "Can't Ga, you want to disappoint the late Papa?" disappointed look dominates Mama Uly's wrinkled face.

"I'm sorry Rangga Ma, it's time for me to be independent. About the company, I leave it to Mama. I beg if Mama has a view immediately recommendations so that the company continues to run." said Rangga sure.

"Ga, please think again son, that company is not entirely ours. But half of it is yours." Mama looked at Angga pleading.

"Nearly I, already round Ma, I will return all the assets of the company. Honestly, I'll take the inves off my paycheck, nothing more."

"Then, how is your relationship with Diana?" Mama hopes her son's household will be fine.

"That's one of them Ma, I'll return Diana to Mama."

Mama moved then crouched on her knees, face down on Rangga's lap while hiccupping. "Please think again, son, Mama has no one but you with Diana." hyks hyks.

"Mama doesn't want to lose Diana or you." Mama's tears broke through Rangga's pants.

"Mama wakes up Ma" Rangga raises the frail body of her in-laws to sit next to her.

"Mama don't worry, even though Rangga parted ways with Diana. Rangga will not forget Mama, until anytime" Rangga hugged Mama Uly's shoulder tendered on her shoulder.

The daughter-in-law with the in-laws spilled each other's hearts until late in the afternoon, Mama had calmed down a bit.

Rangga then went up. Scrutinize the entire room, for the last time. Rangga opened his closet if he bought it with a salary instead of Diana's money.

Rangga quickly went downstairs worried that Diana was going home. Up below, Rangga entered the workroom to open the drawer that had always been locked not to let Diana know.

His burly hand took a photo of his memories with Kartika when he was dating first, and at their wedding. Although the color has partially faded over time. But Rangga's love will not fade. He blew away the dust and wiped it after cleanly putting it in a bag.

Angga glanced in all directions, this was the last one in the workspace. The room that always witnesses mute household travel with Diana who is often hit by chaos throwing items that look if Diana quarrels with him.

"Rangga went Ma," he said staring at Mama Uly who had still not shifted from her seat still beragis with puffy eyes.

"Find your happiness son, Mama can't hold you anymore" heks hyks. Mama squandered Rangga's hug for a while. Mama took off her opener. "Be careful son" rubbed the head of Rangga.

Rangga smiled carrying a backpack walking towards the garage grab a motorbike that he used to cicil himself. Leaving the BMW he bought with Diana.

Not the luxury motorbike that Rangga rode. But this is the time. Rangga must come out of the nest the day will.

When the motor comes out of the garage. Diana entered among her private drivers.
