Demian circulated his gaze while occasionally looking at Lia who was busy checking orders from customers.
"You do everything yourself?" Ask Demian.
"No. I was assisted by three employees. They just got home." Lia replied without looking over and still focused on her work.
"I'm done. I'm going home." Lia.
"Can I come? I haven't had a place to stay here."
"You mean you want to stay at my house?" Lia widened her eyes.
"Hm." Demian replied with ease.
"can't. It's in the village, and things like that can't be understood."
"What's the problem?" Ask Demian.
"If that happens, they can think we're an illegitimate partner, don't complicate my life, Demy." Lia said
"It will be difficult to find a hotel or apartment here Lia. Along the way I only saw endless pastures."
"Where is the meadow. What you see is rice fields." Reply Lia.
Just this time Demian saw Lia laughing after that. All he had seen was a serious and flat face. A face that always tries to hide so many wounds and burdens.
"I'll call my friend. Called Arvan. You can stay for a while at the hostel." Lia contacted Arvan and spoke at length by phone.
Not long ago Arvan appeared with a classic car but looks very well maintained.
"Hi, I'm Arvan." Arvan extended his hand and was greeted by Demian.
"I'm Demian. Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too." Arvan answered with a smile.
"Titip him Van. I hope he doesn't bother you." Lia.
"of course. If he gets troublesome, I'll send him to his home country. Arvan answered while opening the car door and entering it, and followed Demian.
Lia was still standing where she stood. His mind wandered far away. He couldn't lie to himself that he had been harboring a longing for Demian all this time. And when Demian came, he just fortified his heart as high as possible so as not to get drowned in the feeling of liking. And it might turn into a feeling of love.
He felt unworthy of Demian in any way and from any point of view.
Lia immediately threw away Demian's figure who now controlled his heart and mind. He locked the door of the shophouse and walked home occasionally greeting people he met along the way home. Arriving at the door of his residence, he suddenly lost his balance and fell down.
"Geez mbakkkk..!" yelled Kiara who saw Lia fall unconscious.
Amira hears Kiara's scream and runs out. How surprised he was to see his eldest daughter unconscious.
"Astaghfirullahhaladzim says. We'll take your mother to nduk's room." Said Amira while trying to get Lia into her room.
Kiara contacted Arumi by phone. He asks Arumi for help to take Lia to the hospital.
Amira gently rubbed the tip of Lia's head while occasionally wiping away her tears. During this time Lia hid her illness from her mother and sister. Whenever he was sick he always said that he was just tired. Now Amira began to feel something strange about the health condition of her daughter.
Not until half an hour Arumi came by his car. He got out of the car and half ran into the house.
"Yes son Arumi, thank you for being bothered." Replied Amira who was not happy because it was too often troublesome for Arumi and her family.
Handoko's mother, Arumi, is the one who used to give Amira a job. He became a rice plantation worker in the rice field of Bu Handoko every planting season arrives.
The next day, Demian came to Lia's house, but no one was there. Then he rushed to the shop. He brought a new car last night he bought. He asked Arvan to take him to a car showroom located not too far from the Arvan boarding house. It would be troublesome if he did not have any means of transportation as long as he was here.
Arriving at the shophouse, he did not find Lia's presence there. And how surprised he was when one of Lia's employees said that Lia was now being treated in the hospital.
After getting the address of the hospital where Lia was treated, he drove a car that he drove at high speed. He has only been here for two days and still does not know the ins and outs of the road and place here. To get to the hospital, he must use the application and follow the directions of maps from his smartphone.
Arriving at the hospital and parking the car, he ran to the information section and asked the room where Lia was being treated.
"I want to see my friend Ava Celia. Where is he in the hospital?" Demian asked the hospital officer.
"I'll check you first."
"Can it go a little faster?" Demian looked very worried. He was afraid that something bad might happen to Lia.
"In room number seven of the third floor, sir." The hospital attendant replied calmly despite Demian showing a hostile look.
Demian entered the elevator and walked quickly after the elevator doors opened. Arriving at the door of room number seven, he heard someone reading the chants of the holy verses with a soothing voice.
He abandoned his intention to enter and chose to wait in the waiting chair on the right side of the door.
For almost an hour Demian sat there until finally the middle-aged woman came out and Demian stood up to greet her.
"Who are you?" Ask Amira who has never met Demian.
"I'm Demian, Lia's friend. I heard Lia was sick and I came here to see her." Demian replied courteously.
"Please son. Inside is also Kiara, Lia's sister."
Demian bowed respectfully then walked into the room. He saw Lia joking with her sister. Although he looked weak and his face looked very pale, but he could still smile as if he was fine.
"Hi." Sapa Demian to Lia.
"You?" Lia looked surprised by Demian's arrival.
"I'm looking for you at home and at the shophouse. But your employees say you're being treated here. You know, all the way I was worried about you. I'm so scared if anything happens to the woman I love so much." Demian said bluntly without concern for Kiara's whereabouts.
"Thank you for visiting me. I'm fine."
Kiara who felt like a mosquito repellent among them chose to get out instead of staying inside and feeling awkward.
"Sir, I'm out for food first." Pamit Kiara's.
"Didn't you have breakfast on deck?" Ask Lia astonished.
"Hehehe, it's laper again." Kiara replied with a cry.
Now there was only Demian and Lia in this room. Demian sat down and gently stroked Lia's head. Both of them were silent and immersed in their feelings.
