Kei's saying goodbye

Finally the small grains of water from the sky descended that morning as well. A small drizzle began to accompany Dave who was about to go to the office. Erika looked at Dave's back who was moving away towards the car with a hopeful feeling. The girl was still faithfully standing in the doorway until Dave and his car disappeared from her sight. Kei was still trying to laugh, even though his heart was not. "ahahahahah..I'm just happy to tease you. Tell me? Were you almost tempted by all of my words? That was very touching, wasn't it?" Kei still had a smiling expression, but his eyes stared deep into Erika's eyeballs. He tried to find himself in the heart of the girl.

"Well...!" Erika instead laughed when she saw Kei's expression like that, she felt amused until she had to hold her stomach which hurt holding back laughter.

Kei felt astonished and raised both eyebrows. "Is there anything funny?" He said with a confused look.

"You're so funny this time Kei, I was so amused to see your serious gaze just now." Erika was still trying to stop the remnants of her laughter.

"What if it was real, would I look funny to you?" Kei softened his gaze.

"Already, don't joke! I am glad to see you like that. What do you want to come here Kei?" Erika tried to shift the conversation. Not that he is insensitive. It's just that he doesn't want the atmosphere to be awkward.

"Yes..All right then, I'm just here to say goodbye." Kei said as he turned his gaze in all directions. He did not want to long look at Erika who might make him lose his mind.

"Pamit? You're.." Erika's sentence hangs, waiting for Kei to explain.

"Yes, I'd love to go back to LA, 'cause here I think it looks boring." Kei was still trying to shake off his nervousness. From then on, his heart was beating very fast. How can expressing feelings be so difficult for him. Whether he says it or not is the same for him. Surely his feelings are unrequited. That is the truth and he has to accept it. "Of course you're a stupid girl!" Again and again Kei joking. For him like that was enough for him, to feel happy. Even if it's just that. He was willing to do anything to see the girl's smile, continuing to expand on her lips. But unfortunately this time he had to leave, this time also he wanted to protect his own heart from the pain. Not because there was no hope anymore, but because the girl seemed to have dropped her heart on someone else. The other one is none other than Dave's husband.

"Well, Kei, what can I do? It's your choice, but I want you to stay here, but I have no right to hold you back. May you always be happy wherever you are." This time Erika sounded sincere, she also patted Kei's shoulder softly for a few times.

Erika nodded steadily. "Of course Kei!" He said as he spread out his hands. Kei rushed towards Erika and clenched her body tightly.

"I will always miss you!" Kei stroked Erika's hair slowly. And the other hand tried to wipe the tears that almost dripped on his cheek. A moment later tried to escape from the girl's embrace.

"I will always miss you, be careful there. Hope you can find your true love, which can return your feelings just as much." Erika stared deeply into Kei's eyeballs, as if giving an honest answer from him that had been as if Kei was looking inside her eyes.

Kei ruffled Erika's hair gently. "You're careful too, take care of your health, may you get the love you want."
