Chapters. 1 Little Friend

"Awww.hiks..hiks.."whimpering a little girl in a ponytail after falling off a bicycle.

"You're okay" asked one boy, hand-picking to help.

"Awww, my legs hurt" said the little girl in a pony, looking up at the boy in front of her.

"Here I help you stand up" said the boy.

"Hemmmz. thanks brother," said the little girl in a ponytails trying to stand by holding on to the boy's hand.

"Other times if cycling carefully here the road is slippery," said the boy, confirming the little girl's bicycle in her ponytail.

"Yes, sister," replied the little girl in a horse-drawn pony while nodding.

" Oh yes my name is Ken" said the boy, introducing himself.

" I'm Nanay" said the little girl in a pony back to the boy's handshake.

"From now on we are friends, brother," pinta Nanay with a cheerful smile and replied a nod by Ken.

Ken is the grandson of one of Grandpa Dirga, the owner of a famous property company in the city of X. It can be said that Ken is the successor of his grandfather's company later, because Ken's parents have been dead since Ken was 5 years old. Since then Ken was raised by his grandfather. Ken grew up to be a quiet, cold child towards anyone. Every grandfather there is a business trip Ken always join be it a business trip in the country or even abroad. Aside from his Grandfather not having the heart to leave Ken alone in the Mansion with his caretaker, Grandpa Dirga's goal is to take Ken on every business trip as well because he wants to introduce Ken to the business world early on.

That afternoon Ken was strolling around the city park where his grandfather was reviewing the construction of elite housing in ko ta Y. Ken accidentally saw a little girl in a ponytail falling off a bike, and was crying in pain. Ken who saw the incident immediately ran to help the little girl.

"Kak Ken lives around here too, kok Nanay looks unfamiliar with brother," asked Nanay while walking limped towards the park bench. Ken walked beside Nanay on Nanay's bike.

"I don't live here, I came here because my grandfather was reviewing his work" Ken replied flatly.

" Ooh .. fast Nanay has never seen a sister around here" Nanay said, nodding his head.

" I didn't ask," replied Ken flatly.

" I'm just telling you" Nanay said as she put her lips together and it looked adorable to Ken, without realizing there was a thin arch in the corner of Ken's lips.

"Sorry Young Master you have been waiting for the big master in the car," said one of the bodyguards from Dirga's grandfather.

" Hmmmmm," replied Ken who was accompanied by a nod of understanding.

"I have to go now" Ken told Nanay.

" Would we meet again after this, brother," asked Nanay with teary eyes.

Though this was their first time meeting, but Nanay felt comfortable with Ken .

" I don't know," Ken replied flatly as he stepped away leaving Nanay on a park bench.

Deep down in Ken's heart, Ken felt the same way.

Nanay looked at Ken's back which was getting away from her with a sad feeling.

" Ken's brother.." cried Nanay walking limped trying to chase after Ken. From a distance Ken heard his name on the call then stopped his steps and looked back.

"This is the broom that Brother made to clean the wound Nanay left behind," said Nanay up and down trying to adjust his breath because chasing Ken earlier. Ken who saw his dirty handkerchief in Nanay's hand just scrunched his forehead.

"Take it, I don't need it anymore" replied Ken as he left Nanay standing looking at Ken walking away from him.

"I hope one day we can meet again Brother" Nanay muttered with a sad heart.
