Prologue..
There is a bitter war between the two, a war between virtue and evil. Holy war witnessed by all the creatures of the earth. Wars that determine the destiny of the earth in the future, determinants of the sustainability of life of all creatures on earth.
"are you exhausted, conqueror of the earth??" ask the knight.
His tall body was panting on the battlefield. Focusing on his magic sword, he tried to become superior to his enemy.
"hahaha!!! Apa kabar dengan dirimu sendiri, haa?? Kau saja sudah tidak kuat berdiri!! Hahahaha!!" jawab Raja Kroda dengan lantang.
Raden Widagda, the knight, heard it while smiling obliquely.
"i'm just recovering a little bit of my energy, goddamn king!!" the answer.
Feeling offended, king Kroda immediately took the horses to attack Raden Widagda, but his attack missed. Maybe it was the effect of fighting for 10 days and 10 nights without stopping.
"christ! It's useless!" king Kroda's Grout.
"why?? Your attack missed, you're old! Surrender, I'll forgive you."
King Kroda's anger peaked, he also launched his second attack and 'bugh'. Raden Widagda was violently crushed. His body is limp. Now that his energy was completely depleted, he was extremely tired and could not dodge or even avenge King Kroda's last attack.
"raden!!" shouts Bathara Endra worried.
The god and man on Raden Widagda's side were anxious about his situation, but it was agreed that no one should help the two fight. All followers are only allowed to watch from the edge of the battlefield.
King Kroda's laughter roared eerily, followed by the cheers of his supporters. With a step stuttered and the body staggering, he approached Raden Widagda. He raised his rock and 'brakk'. Raden Widagda is dying.
Raden Widagda's side was devastated, they couldn't do anything to help him. Their hopes have been dashed, a man who was predicted to be their hero, has fallen.
In a dying state, Raden Widagda remembers all his past.
A group of 4-5 year olds were running around in the fields. They were playing cheerfully, their laughter adorning along the steps. Every peasant who sees, always warns to be careful and not run around in the rice field, but the children seem to be wayward children who do not want to listen to advice.
Suddenly 'gedebug'
"oh.." whining a girl in the back row.
The children in front of him approached him.
"uh what's up?? You fell??" ask an older boy.
"sickness." she answered briefly.
"where is Ar sick? May see?" ask Marta.
The girl immediately showed her aching right leg, it was punctured by a thorn and after she fell, the other part was scratched by a thorn as well.
"god. You don't cry yha. Wid, we better take him home." suggested Rukmini.
"but won't his mother be angry with Ni?" ask Widagda.
"already, no Wid" replied Rukmini.
"alright, I'll carry it. Kartika, get on my back." said little Widagda.
The girl named Kartika wanted to be carried and brought home.
"You go home too, we play again tomorrow" Rukmini told Marta, Rekta, Nirmala and Ita.
They immediately went home to each other.
When they got to Kartika's house.
"mother.." call Kartika.
It just so happened that her mother was out to hang her clothes. Feeling called by his little daughter, he turned his head and when he saw Kartika held by Widagda, he approached her.
"what's wrong with you, son? Why is it carried by Widagda?" tanyakanya.
Seeing his daughter's puffy eyes, made him very worried.
"aunt Erawati, sorry before, but Kartika's leg is injured" replied Rukmini.
"astaga, why?" ask Kartika's mother to worry.
"so while running around in the rice fields, Kartika fell, her legs were scratched by thorns" Widagda replied while looking down.
"my God, let's go in, before the wound is severe." he ordered quietly.
Widagda dropped Kartika on the chair. While Rukmini and Aunt Erawati are looking for some herbs for medicine.
"mother stick yha, not sick really" said Aunt Erawati to her daughter while attaching binahong leaves to her daughter's wounds.
After that he made a medicine for his daughter. He carefully administered the drug to his daughter. There was not a single speck of anger in his heart, Widagda could see it from the look in his eyes that looked very worried.
I thought you would be angry bi, it turns out just the opposite. Fyuuh, the important thing is that you get well soon Kartika.
Batin Widagda's.
"auntie, can we go home??" ask Rukmini.
"iya Wid, Ni, thank you very much" replied Aunt Erawati
"sama-sama Bi, ngrumiyini." replied Widagda and Rukmini simultaneously.
They also went home.
"yeah!" call Rukmini.
"what?" ask Widagda.
"would Kartika be scolded?"
"it doesn't seem." replied Widagda briefly.
"oh yeah, why?" ask Rukmini again.
"because Kartika is the son of Erawati's aunt."
"are you sure?"
"of course. A mother will not have the heart to scold her sick child." replied Widagda.
"just waste!" call Widagda.
"yes?" ask Rukmini.
"don't you want to stop by Jaya's grandfather?" tanyakanya.
"hmm, you want to go there? But it's the market, the palace's close, are you sure?"
"yes nyi. Come on!" widagda said as she forced Rukmini's hand.
Inevitably Rukmini obeyed Widagda's wishes.
The distance of Jaya's grandfather's house is not far from the market they passed, so it did not take long to get there.
"newun horn!!" say Rukmini and Widagda simultaneously.
Before long the wooden door opened and displayed the figure of a long-bearded and white-haired old man.
"please. Well, there is grandfather's favorite grandson, let's go inside." said Jaya's grandfather.
With a happy heart, Rukmini and Widagda broke into Jaya's grandfather's house.
"want to drink what? It's white water, hehe. You guys don't like jamu, do you?" ask grandpa Jaya.
"no cake needed, we just stopped by. Grandfather continue with grandfather's work." replied Widagda.
"hahaha, alright. But if you want something, do not hesitate to ask for it." replied grandpa Jaya.
"it's definitely cake." replied Rukmini.
Grandpa Jaya continued his work, which was to draw puppets.
"ma'am, can I ask you something?" ask Widagda.
"ask." replied Grandpa Jaya briefly.
"make me a cake" Widagda asked.
Grandpa Jaya stopped her activities and smiled at Widagda.
"i'm a puppet painter, not a pande. But if you really want to, I have a friend who is good at making kris." replied Jaya's grandfather.
"oh yeah?? Tell him to make me a cake kris!" widagda Pinta.
"of course it's Wida, but can I finish my picture?" ask grandpa Jaya.
Widagda nodded in spirit.
Meanwhile, Rukmini was traveling around Jaya's relatively small grandfather's house. He saw there were many pictures of puppet characters displayed on the wall. Rukmini was greatly amazed at Jaya's beautiful grandfather paintings.
"well, she's beautiful." murmured Rukmini.
He saw a puppet picture of a woman, there listed Dewi Sembadra. Then came the desire to have the painting.
Rukmini ran up to Grandpa Jaya and asked, "cake!! Can I bring home a picture of the goddess sebadra?"
"goddess sebadra?? Do you like it?" ask grandpa Jaya.
"why, why all of a sudden want a painting of grandpa? Many times we have come here, but only now do you want to bring home grandfather's painting" Widagda said.
"because the image of the goddess of the gods that Grandpa painted is so beautiful, I want to be like her too" replied Rukmini.
"yes, all right, you can take him home. Fortunately, Hara did not buy it, my granddaughter wanted to take the painting home" replied Jaya with a small laugh.
The sun was falling, now it was at the end of the horizon. Rukmini and Widagda are very comfortable in Jaya's grandfather's house. There they not only play, but also learn to draw, and help Jaya's grandfather.
"it's dusk, do you want to spend the night here?" ask grandpa Jaya.
"honestly cake, we still want to linger here, but the father and mother must be worried looking for us" replied Rukmini.
Widagda also nodded.
"dare you dare to go home by yourself??" ask grandpa Jaya.
"yes cake, we dare." Widagda chirped.
Suddenly there was the sound of a horse carriage stopping in front of the house, after being seen it turned out to be their father and mother.
"dad?!"
"mother?!"
Rukmini and Widagda said alternately.
Their mother immediately hugged her two children.
"your mother is worried about your situation, it's already evening, but you haven't come home yet" their mother said.
"sorry mother." answered both.
"you're here, right? Uncle, did they come back to trouble you? I'm really sorry." said their father.
"no Nak Aji. They helped me a lot, a lot of customers came to take his order, and they helped me very well" Jaya's grandfather replied.
"thank goodness uncle. I'm afraid they're troubling you." said dad.
"no really. Oh yeah, I gave this painting to Rukmini and she said she liked it, so take it with you. Put this in his room so he's happy." said Jaya's grandfather.
"thank you uncle. Then we'll go home." said dad.
"yes, be careful on the road. Widagda, Rukmini, next time if you want, spend the night here. Grandpa always misses you." said Grandpa Jaya.
"yes cake." answered both.
After saying goodbye, Widagda, Rukmini, and her father and mother returned to the palace.
Huh, nice day. Next month I'll get my kris. Yeay!!
Little Widagda cheer in heart.
Seriate..
