The sound of hasty footsteps from a middle-aged man made people look at them in wonder coupled with the many bodyguards in black uniforms accompanying the middle-aged man's steps.

" How?" asked the man coldly after arriving at his destination.

" Miss is still critical sir and there has been no news after" replied the man standing guard in front of the room.

" What..why is it my daughter's fault that you would hurt her?." Rio said slowly.

" Don't involve my daughter in this matter. You're free to hurt me but not my daughter."

Varo stared coldly at Rio, others might feel as if they were looking at Rio pleading for his daughter. " I don't care." said Varo coldly.

" You've dared to harass me, so please accept the consequences."

Rio tightly clenched both his hands with hardened jaws.

" What do you want from me." break it up. He now has to lower his ego for the sake of his daughter's safety.

Varo chuckled at Rio's desperate words. This is what he likes best. If his enemy was already feeling hopeless and helpless before him.
